I am not one to do reviews but after years of bringing my families cars to Dave and his crew over at Centereach Good Year I just had too. Dave has from day one gone above and beyond to help me. I love knowing that if I have a concern it will be checked out and I always get an honest opinion. I appreciate this crew and thank you for the excellent service.

Had 4 new tires,wheel alignment and balance. All took less than 1-1/2 hrs. Nice waiting area and great staff and service

Staff is nice and they do their best to get you in and out of the shop! The only reason why I took off twos the is because they always try to upsell you products where your car is being worked on this gets annoying very quickly

They tried to charge the service they didn't do but I caught it. Falsely reported that my brake rotors need change but when I went to the brand dealership service I was told the rotors are completely fine. They told me the brake pads are totally worn out and need immediate change but after I took my car to the dealership I was told the pads need change but not immediate, around 10k more miles on it.

I ve been here twice over the past 2 years or so, and the service was always quick, fair, and the guys were very nice. I would recommend this place 10/10. I m very grateful.

Went in for an oil change only. And the guy was telling me I needed new brakes in the rear for a horrible price of $500. I leave the place with no previous issue of my brakes, and then when I pulled out of their parking lot my rear brakes start screaming. Sounds like a major scam to me. Watch out when you go there. The apology from the good year owner also is full of lies when they don t even help you with your situation. They just copy and paste an apology. How about fix my breaks that they screwed up on!!!

Terrible experience!My wife and I had a very bad experience here! From the moment we walked in it was clear that customer service was seriously lacking. The guy at the front desk ignored us at all. It was very frustrating that he blatantly ignored us despite our attempts to get his attention by saying "Excuse me".To make matters worse, we noticed another clerk sitting nearby, seemingly taking a break, engrossed in his phone. We decided to ask him about it, hoping for a more helpful response, but to our dismay, he ignored us and barely looked at us.This unprofessional and rude behavior from the staff left us with a bitter taste. As customers, we expect to be treated with respect and courteousness which unfortunately is sorely lacking here. It is frustrating to encounter such indifference and disregard for customer needs.Given this experience, we would definitely not recommend it to anyone else.

I ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars with this location for multiple vehicles of mine, have always tipped their technicians well after every service and they can t find the time to perform a simple inspection on my car. Going to take my business else where to a shop that actually takes care of its customers.

I was traveling last weekend and got a flat tire on a dirt road off the beaten path. I was able to plug the tire for a temporary fix in order to make it back home. The tire has about 20k miles on it and decent life left so i figured let me see if it can be patched correctly. (life was good)... Then i walked into this place ! The gentleman behind the counter was nice and respectful but the Manager (Clown) that came out and told me they dont repair temporary fixes was a piece of work! The arrogance and attitude this guy gave me was totally unacceptable. I asked if this was Goodyear policy? The response I received was him pointing to a "Plaque" in the shop of a "Union creek" on the wall. At this point I realized I should leave the facility before things got elevated. This happened on 09/19/23 around 5pm. Bwt im a Aircraft maint tech with 30+ yrs in cust ser, I wonder how an owner of an A/c would feel if i gave him an answer like this while performing maintenance on his plane. He needs to be removed from dealing with customers.

I brought my car in for oil change and Inspection and was in a hurry Eli and the staff took care of my car promptly even tho it was extremely hot outside. I was able to keep another appointment i had thanks to there great service. Will continue to use and highly recommend

Went for inspection @ Centereach location, usual manager Dave G wasnt there. The manager that was there happens to come off rude even when I have been told there's a wait and I told him I'll be waiting. Don't argue with me, I said I'm waiting. Go learn some customer service skills.

Came in for new breaks, had a great experience with Eli and the staff. Eli was very informative and pleasant to talk to. Even though it s out of the way from where I live, I would definitely return to this location because I know I would be in good hands.

SCRATCHED all four wheels on our vehicle while mounting tires and denied doing so. We took photos of all four wheels immediately prior to service to document the virtually scratch free condition of the wheels. While picking up the vehicle was dismissed by the supervisor while trying to point out the damage. Was told by this employee that Goodyear is not responsible for damage they cause to customer's cars. WHAT? Took photos of the damaged wheels and filed a case with Goodyear Claims. We provided the before and after photos. Well, apparently the examiner did not see the multitude of fresh scratches to the wheels and denied responsibility for Goodyear's actions...Goodyear covering for Goodyear...go figure. Been going to this location for almost 30 years but NEVER AGAIN!

Unprofessional and rude people. I made an appointment via their website for NYS inspection. When I got there for my appointment, they said online appointment has no meaning and I will have to wait 3 hrs if I wanted the inspection done.

I had an oil change done at this location. It was supposed to come with a tire rotation, which they didn t do. They didn t even check the air levels in my tires. They also didn t reset my oil meter. To expensive to not have those standard things done when you pay for it.Edit: This location charges $169 for just a diagnostic on what s wrong with your car when the check engine light is on. The location in Smithtown charges only $35. Which is much more understandable when really all they have to do is plug in the computer to the car and read the cold it s coming up. There s no way that they should be charging $169 for that.

This was my first time using this shop. Best thing...they are open on Sundays. Other best things.... very friendly and priced well.I was greeted by a gentleman who took my information, and he was very pleasant. I went in needing 2 things done to the car, and left with those 2 things completed. They did not say I needed any extra or unnecessary repairs. I will continue to use this shop for future repairs. They left a great impression.

Phenomenal customer service!! I ran over something in the road and wanted a check up for the undercarriage. I was greeted by Dana who was super friendly And had Steve look under the car. I had it looked at immediately with no charge. The easiest auto service experience I have ever been through! Will be going here from now on!!

Have been a long time customer at this Goodyear location. Friendly staff with a clean and well kept waiting area. There was an issue with my service at one point regarding a loose tail light. It was an error on their part, but the team worked together to solve the issue immediately by finding the lost screw. I would still recommend this location for someone needing regular maintenance on their vehicle.

The best tire shop I've been to on Long Island. The front counter guys don't have much personality, and seem a little lost. The technicians actually working on your car, however, are very professional. That's what counts; the quality of the work. The shop manager is great, too.

I had not good experience in this good year shop. While doing my service here I lost my camera with memory Card in which I had my kids photo from the last 5 years. I went back and asked about my stolen camera they refused to hear me even I asked to keep the camera just return the M card. I ll never go again.

Just had my wife car in for a oil change and they told me my inspection is due at the end the month I had them do the inspection. They have never tried to oversell us or pressured us into any sale.We have been taking my 3 cars there for over4years. Dave G and the crew at centereach Goodyear are always honest an professional.. They have a great reputation in the neighborhood and even at my church.......I will be a customer for life

Excellent and quality service. Didn't have the tires in stock so they went and got them instantly. Didn't have to wait for days.Fantastic!!!

ONE STAR! NO MORE! These guys are so BAD!! I my car's inspection was expired and I went to have my car inspected. They said I did not pass the inspection because of my TIRE, which was not bad after other auto service station checked. And they wanted to charge me 400 plus $$ for the exchange. TOO MAKE IT WORSE, they took off my old inspection receipt intentionally which was not expected, after I rejected them for the tire replacement. It would cause me to have a ticket, cauz its so obvious WITHOUT IT! Never go there, they only want to MAKE MONEY! Finally I got my car inspected at gulf for $10. Everything is GOOD!

Good service. Fair rates. Oh thing I have to complain about is that wait times are often over 2 hour for fairly simple stuff. I waited once there once for 6 hours for a job that could have been done in 2 hours.

I went there to get 1 tire fixed and not only did they get it done quickly, but correctly. They also went out of their way to check the tire pressure on all of my other tires, the tread depths on all of them, and let me know that my brake pads were getting low and should be replaced soon. Thanks Len and Steve. I'll be back for my other car needs.

This shop is waste money and time, unprofessional people, charging a lot money then tell you can t fixed, we don t know.They don t have a answer for my cuesti�n, unreal, looser.

Very very slow we had to wait while they had breakfast at 11 am the service manager was very codisending (Eli vera) I will never go there again and I would not recommend this place to anyone

Showed up at 4pm for new tires to be put on, no customers inside waiting area said they are technically closed even though there hours state they close at 5pm, would have taken 15 minutes to do. Went to another good year and got what I needed done.
