I came here heard so many positive things about city tire, I seen John the owner and he was very kind and took my car right in to get my. Front and rear brakes done. Billy worked on my car and explained everything to me. They were so efficient and truly kind. Such a great business to come to when u can feel comfortable and honesty was such a plus. I will definitely be back again.

I went here for an inspection not noticing I had a light on, rather than being decent Mike had me wait around for about 5 hours until closing time to tell me I had failed, naturally charged me the New York State fee. Beware of this place..he could have just said ,Hey this won t pass I guess he was having a bad day and wanted someone else to feel the same. they treat women badly here and overcharge for tires, scam artists.

This place really came through for me and my family after suffering a flat tire while visiting our family in Long Island over the Christmas break. The night before we were scheduled to drive back to MD, a NY pothole got the best of us. After calling a bunch of places for an hour the next morning, John was so helpful and understanding. He was able to order my very rare large tires to be delivered and installed same day to get us back on the road to MD. Thank you John!

I have been going to these guys for as far back as I can remember...They are honest and hard-working...I trust my whole family's cars with them...They don't fix it if it isn't broken, and they tell you to fix something if it should be fixed...Call ahead of time to be sure they have time, because everyone wants to go to an honest mechanic...

These guys are top tier when it comes to being trustworthy, cost effectiveness, and efficiency. As an Ex-Mechanic, I know that these guys take the time to diagnose each vehicle and make the correct repair the 1st time. Unlike many other shops that play the guessing game and replace everything under the sun. Do yourself a favor and look no further, thanks again John!

John Jr, did as he always does did a great on my car, he found the problem and got my car back to me within one day and a a good price. Now my car is driving like brand new!

These guys are the real deal! Great selection of products and services. Their Front Desk Manager and face of the company Angelina is the best!John and his entire team are courteous professionals! If you need tires, brakes, or any other services for your car or truck try them first! You'll be glad you did!

I have used this shop a few times and always been very happy with their prices and service. I do a lot of my own car repairs so I have a pretty good idea how much time and work certain things are. They recently had my car for drive axle replacement and a few other things and I'm very pleased with the job they did. My car drives like its on a cloud The price for parts and labor was surprisingly fair. I highly recommend this place. They may end my days crawling under a car.Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement

I've struggled to find a mechanic that I trust, but I think the search is finally over! John seems to truly care about his customers and is a genuinely nice guy. The prices seem fair and I never feel like I'm being ripped off, which I commonly did at other shops.My most recent service was for a check engine light and John informed me that it was the catalytic converter. He also told me that it should be covered under my warranty and recommended I take it to my dealer instead. I have had my car serviced here for over 25 years. Always satisfied with the service. Prices are reasonable. Also a great place to get tires for your vehicle at competitive prices and quick installation.

First, I was waiting outside the business for 10 minutes at the time that it was supposed to open, and when they finally wandered in coffee and hands, they basically just ignored me and cracked some sort of wise joke about oh it s going to be a busy day or something like that, which made me feel pretty unwelcome. Then I had to call them about a half hour before they closed to see if my vehicle was ready to what she said yes but it also failed the inspection. So I wasted an entire day and spent money for nothing. And I think it s worth noting that I took it somewhere else and they passed it immediately, I was waiting for about five minutes. These inspection places always try to squeeze every dollar they can out of you with their a little state sanctioned scam caughtService: Vehicle Inspection

Wish I could give them 0 stars but 1 is the minimum google allows. Can t trust this shop anymore, when John Sr. was in charge things were much better. Now with Jr. at the helm, and Sr. day drinking and chain smoking inside the shop . The repairs are taking way longer. There is an extra focus inside sales, always trying to upsell you on parts that don t need attention. Last time I m coming here, they left my car in a worst condition than when I brought it in. STAY AWAY!! There are better more reputable auto repair shops in Centereach.

They have treated me and my family fair for close to 20 years they have helped me out of binds and been completely honest when it doesn't benefit them to be. John and john Jr are all about relationships and building long term customer service not like the normal mechanic that you may be nervous about on long island. I've gotta give them the credit where it's due and the fact is they deserve it. Awesome guys that break there backs and stay late or give you a ride home if you have to leave your car etc. I can probably go on but you get the drift. Go here if you can its much more better then getting screwed elsewhere. [Edit]update...always straight up and a pleasure to have them treat the customer as well as the vehicle. I've had issues with many mechanics but not here not ever.

I m honestly in awe with City Tire and their amazing team! I don t drive a brand new car, in fact I have never had a brand new car. I have always purchased someone else s well taken care of older car. Always afraid to take it to a mechanic for fear of what I would be laying out in repairs. John is amazing... he is straight forward honest and an awesome mechanic! His prices are NEVER inflated and is always ready to go the extra mile to make sure his customers are safe and secure!! I hold the utmost respect for this facility and the staff that work behind the scenes!! I have never left disappointed!!! Thank you for all you guys do!!!

This was such a great experience. I visited to get my annual car inspection and the gentlemen that assisted me truly cared about answering all of my questions. They also had a very grand collection of vintage parts which only added to the character and charm of the staff. Their actions showed that they place people over profits - I highly recommend.

Went in to get a tire looked at. They took me into the back to actually show me that it couldn't be repaired and why. They put on new tires very quickly. The whole experience was completely painless. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. They were very professional yet friendly. In and out very smoothly. Would highly recommend to others.

Highly recommend this place. I know nothing about cars and I had a issue with my tire and brought it to 3 different shops that just sent me away with more questions then answers. John took the time to figure out what was going on and cared. I feel so much safer knowing there is a place I can go to where someone cares about my safety and not about my wallet!

I got a flat tire when I was about to leave work one morning. I pulled up to their shop and they were able to replace both of tires in under 40 minutes and I was on my way to work. Both the value and customer service were great. They were really patient and answered all my questions. Will be going back for my future auto service.

My mom went here for her inspection a little while ago and referred me to City Tire. It was my first time going there, I went for an inspection. Customer service was amazing, very professional and friendly. My car did need some work to pass and they did it for me quickly and didn't charge me an excessive amount for the work done. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future.

Great bunch of guys. Got me right in on a Sunday to do two front tires on my truck. No one else in the area wanted to do them but they took me in without an appointment and did the job right the first time. As a Mechanic myself for over 20 years, I was very happy with their services. Thanks Guys!

Place is great. Cracked my Maserati rim and they fixed it and threw a new tire on for an amazing price for get this.... in 2 HOURS!! Every other place said 24-48 hours at least. Can t recommend them any more. Call and ask for John
