Terrible service department, never buying here again! Bought my 2023 Tucson at this dealer in January 2023. Brought it in for its first oil change and to have the wireless charger replaced in October. First, I was told the charging pad had power failure, after I explained that it was just not connected properly. They said they would order a new charging pad and that I d have to come back to have it replaced, fine. I go back the following week and turns out the charging pad was just not connected properly, as I previously explained. Not only did I drive another hour to the dealer for no reason a second time, but this time the technician destroyed the back side of my center console while completing the service and they refused to replace it. So after driving back a third time, just so they could see the center console in person Joe, the service manager said there absolutely no way they would have done that and that they don t even need to access the rear side of the center console to fix the wireless charger. I explained to him that it hadn t been like this prior to me bringing the car in and he brushed it off and continued to say that it must have been from me. I ve never even had rear seat passengers and I don t use the car for storage so there s never been anyone or anything else in the back seat that could have caused this. This service was the first time anyone would have been inside the car without myself being present. Anyway, Joe said he would look into it for me and see if he could work something out to replace it, even though something like this should be covered under warranty or just due to the fact that it was a technicians error. Two months later and not even a call back. I also contacted two other local dealers and my personal mechanic who all confirmed they would have had to remove this portion of the console to get to the screws which hold the wireless charging pad in place.

I have been doing business with Centereach Hyundai for quite a while. They have never disappointed. From sales to service!!!! I came into the service department to verify info on my car the parts and service manager was absolutely amazing!!!!!! Also my car was in for maintenance and Ruth was the young lady who helped me. She s absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Down side, unfortunately there was a young lady today who made snide remarks I smell ham I know she was speaking about me, but I ll leave her to her sad pathetic life. Her behavior will not negate the positive experiences that I have had at Centereach Hyundai!!!! I just hope I never have to deal with her

From beginning to end working with Will Arons was a positive experience. He was knowledgeable, patient and not pushy at all. We were able to negotiate a deal quickly without feeling rushed or pressured. The same goes for the finance department. The process was seamless. I have already recommended Centereach Hyundai to family and friends and will continue to do so.

HAZARDOUS HYUNDAII used to be a loyal Hyundai customer , but unfortunately never again. There have been nothing but issues and no accountability regarding recalls or known class action suits against them. I broke down on the side of the road with my daughter on Easter, and had to get it towed to the dealership. After being told i need an engine, most likely due to the ongoing known oil problems, they didn't even have the decency to return my call or provide status update. I have to now pay to rent a car daily since I was told they don't have a loaner OR if I even qualify for one, despite me completing your required Oil consumption log. Your aggresssive Salesmen certainly know how to contact me daily when they want me to Trade It In , but nobody is interested in the safety or well being of their customers!

Bought a CPO here last January, Hyundai said they would "look over" the car and get it up to snuff before it left the lot. Brakes sounded like they were scraping, brought it back a month later when I got back to town. They said the rotors had some rust on them, so they sprayed some de-ruster and told me to ride the break a bit to get it to eat off the rust. No real improvements, bring it back for service and they tell me I need my rotors replaced - $700. Fought with them on it but because I couldn't "prove" the timeline, there wasn't much I could do.In the same service session for the rotors, I said my oil light was coming on every now and again. I asked them to change the oil and they confirmed with me that that was one of my requests before any work was done. When I asked them about it after repairs were done, they said it was a sensor or something like that. Light still coming on, bring it back, they said I had a month left on my oil so they didn't change it, even though I asked them to, and why wouldn't you change the oil anyway with only a month left ?Had a road trip coming up, so I stopped a Jiffy Lube to get it checked out. The techs said that Centereach Hyundai either had no clue what they were doing or they didn't check the dipstick because there was literally no oil to change and that Hyundai almost blew my motor. Brake fluid and coolant needed replacing too, something Hyundai didn't bother to check.They're just like every other dealership: they lure you in with that salesman approach and then don't give a damn about you once you drive off the lot. My mistake for giving benefit of the doubt, I guess. If we didn't live in the times of short-sighted "green" policies, used cars with no safety net wouldn't be the same price as a down-payment on a CPO. I'd say avoid this dealer at all costs, but pickings are slim nowadays. Pick your poison.

It s a shame that this dealership keeps letting me down. It s the closest dealership to my house but I bought my vehicle elsewhere because they overpriced the car I was buying and under valued my trade in. I simply drive to Patchogue same day and closed the deal.Now five years later I go in for simple service and once again I am low balled on my trade in. They offered me $2k less than another dealer.On top of that I was charged over $400 for labor for a simple rear brake pad and rotor replacement. Their own estimates and estimates all over the I get eat state the work could be done in less than an hour yet I was charged an additional $200. Probably because they were dead and entire service center was empty. I guess I need to make up the difference.Super disappointing and to my friends and family avoid Centereach Hyundai at all costs. They will NOT do right by you!

LIARS!!! This is the best description of this place. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING IN THIS PLACE I went with my husband 4 months ago with the intention of taking a lease on the Santa Cruz truck, from the beginning everything was bad and I think I will regret my whole life for having agreed to make a deal with these people First the saleswoman (Naomi) gave us a value and assured us that the taxes were included, we accepted. to later realize that it was not like that, the taxes were not included. After this mistake the monthly cost went from $400 to $700. I let the finance director Mike, I think that's his name, know that it would not be possible for me to continue with the business, it was too much money and his response was - take it, in 3 months you can request refinancing and you will have monthly payments. much more comfortable. I remember as if it were yesterday asking multiple times how refinancing worked, I remember saying could you please help us in the refinancing process and his answer was always yes to everything, he even said he would give us a discount because my husband is a Marine veteran. We felt so grateful and calm to know that we would be able to refinance, I told the salesperson Naomi that she would see me in 3 months for the refinancing and in the same way she told me yes, that they would wait for us. Today, 4 months later, Mike denies having said that the lease could be refinanced, accusing my husband and I of being liars after having the guts to tell my husband Thank you for your service and giving us this stab in the back? I could have expected this from a regular car store! but from Hyundai??? such a big company? Is it really worth trying to scam valuable customers? I will NEVER buy a car from Hyundai again, I feel like a victim of this place, I would never recommend ANYONE to buy something here. Save your money and take it to a different place because in this place no matter how many times you ask the right questions, the answers will always be a LIE.

Not professional at all. No communication from Hyundai regarding the status of my car. They had Tuscan in the shop for 3 weeks, no loaner available, did not show me where car was when done. My daughter & I had to drive through back parking lot & then I had to clean the snow off. Got in car and saw grease splattered on seat. They did clean it when I went back inside. Never use them again

I do not know what happened here in recent years, but this dealership has definitely taken a sharp turn for the worse. For starters, the service department is absolutely abysmal. Twice I have taken my 2022 Santa Cruz in for routine maintenance. Twice the car was completed and brought around for release and I waited for over an hour for them to complete the paperwork. Both times I had to speak to the service manager to expedite the release of the paperwork so I could finally leave. To make matters even worse, the last 2 cars I purchased there both had issues out of the box, forcing me to bring it back the very next day after driving it home. This occurred with my 2022 Santa Cruz, which threw a Check Engine light the next morning after taking delivery and more recently with my wife's 2024 Santa Fe purchased in Feb 2024 which had a faulty passenger window switch. And now, more recently, My Santa Cruz Threw a code for the transmission inhibitor switch. They didn't have the part and they told me they would call when it arrived to schedule installation. They NEVER called. Just like they NEVER called when my wife's window switch came in. Now they are telling me both cars will need to be left overnight for repair and guess what? We can't provide you with a loaner since they are all booked 2 months out. No bueno, I need my car for work. To make matters worse the sales department is now super pushy and try to inflate prices and interest ways with any trick they can muster. My family and I have purchased at least 6-7 vehicles from this dealer in the past 8 years and I expect better for my loyalty. I can assure you they have changed for the worst especially the service department. I am currently working with another dealer to try to replace my Santa Cruz as I cannot afford to lose the use of my vehicle for days while they "get around to it". They do not respect my time, money, or loyalty and I strongly urge anyone else to avoid this dealer and look elsewhere.

As a first time new car buyer, I was extremely stressed and nervous to purchase a new vehicle. As someone who s previous vehicles have been horrible used cars and never had a car payment and low insurance payment I was extremely nervous about the whole process, especially with a poor experience buying a used car for my brother at a different dealer. That being said I had no idea what to really expect. I saw a deal for a 2021 Hyundai Elantra online on the Centereach website, I applied for a coupon online and Tony called me the same day but I missed his call. I walked in on Presidents Day and was immediately greeted by the kind lady working at the front desk Annemarie. Despite me not making an appointment she said she would get someone right over and that is when me and my wife were introduced to Yesenia Cordova. This woman made all my fears and anxiety in purchasing a new vehicle go away immediately. I showed her the car I was interested in and she was able to pull it up so me and my wife could take a look at it, despite her being slammed with other customers, she was still able to take care of me and my wife and listen to any concerns and explain the process to us in a way that someone with no experience in buying a car could understand. She set me up with everything I needed to know, took care of all of the insurance and helped with the financing with Laura who was also exceptional. Yesenia explained to me and helped me save the most money I could and even set me up with a defensive driving course the very next day so I could get my insurance down now that I am on my own. Even the day after she contacted me to make sure I do everything I needed to do. She is an incredible asset to the dealership, and the auto industry in general. Totally blew any expectations I had out of the water and made the whole process seamless. Centereach Hyundai is an awesome dealership and I have heard nothing but good things about their service department aswell. Thank you all very much for making my experience great.

Tyler was awesome to work with! He helped me find the exact car I wanted. Laura was so sweet she found me the best interest rate and price. On top of all they gave me pizza. If I ever need to get another car or if I know someone who needs one, I ll definitely recommend them coming here!

Today ( March 5, 2024) I visited Hyundai Centereach, NY to find out more information about the trade in and bay new car.I called ahead and made an appointment.It was a total disappointment. This is the fifth or sixth time I have come to Hyundai Centereach and each time they have not been able to find a solution.I was completely disappointed by the way they treat customers every time.I have no words of praise for sales manager, nor for today's sales person, Yesenia Cordova. She treated me with disrespect and behaved unprofessionally. Several times she called me "My friend, my friend" I told her that I am not her friend and that she must respect the buyers. I remain, as before, with a bitter taste about Hyundai Centereach and about their sales agents.I know that maybe my opinion doesn't matter and I'm one of the many cases, but I wanted you to know about my big disappointment about the Hyundai Centereach, NY.I will go to the end this lease with Hyundai and in the future I will pay more attention to who I will work with.Mr. Marius Dumitrescu, NY

I wanted to write this review to warn others to scrutinize your paperwork when purchasing a car or buying out your lease. When I worked with finance manager Laura to buy out my lease, she added almost $10,000 worth of fees and initially I didn't notice. But once I started to catch on and inquire about the fees, she used what I considered to be fear mongering tactics, claiming that Hyundai wasn't going to release my title if I don't overpay for my car or that they "made a mistake" on the original buy out price. Eventually after realizing she couldn't get her own way, Laura stormed out of the room saying something along the lines of "I'm done with this deal". I would be very cautious when doing business with her.

My wife bought a car from this dealer in late November. The Hyundai 2023 Santa Fe SE.We were told the car came with 3 years Bluelink and at the time the sales woman who sold her the car had difficulties getting her car to link. She said to give it time for the vin # to match up her account. The dealer was getting ready to close and my wife tried for days to get the car to connect with the Bluelink app. After phoning Hyundai's help assistance she was told her car did not come with Blue Link. We were mislead by the sales person who obviously was lacking knowledge of the car. .My wife made several phone calls to the dealer and was told someone would get back to her and to this date we have not heard back. We asked to speak to the sales person who sold us the car and we were told she was no long with the dealer. The sales people pressure clients to give them a strong review and if they do not receive glowing reviews it will look reflect bad on them. The dealer and sales people at Centereach Hyundai only priority is making a sale! I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealer! Watch out for the shady sales people and finance manager who are as thick as thieves.

The service department at Centereach Hyundai is by far the best we have ever been to. Joe K the service manager treats customers like family. We had an appointment today for an inspection and a computer update and both were done in a very timely manner. After buying and having seven Hyundais serviced over the years we have nothing but praise for this service department. Thanks Joe K.

I went yesterday for an oil change and filter. I spoke to Marty Skylar and Greg Briones. I told Marty not to go through a litany of products I need because I didn t want a $400 bill. They both made me feel like I didn t want to take care of my car. I have 22,342 miles on a three year old car that s been taken care of since I got it. So I got my oil change and filters and it cost $287. The parts were $82 the labor cost $163 for half hour of work which took two and half hours to complete. Stay away from this place it s a rip off.

My wife brought our car in for an oil change and state inspection. I saw the car this morning there weren t any cracks. They took a video of the car prior to pulling it into the shop and then say oh this is from the windshield being cold and then getting hot. First They pulled it out as if nothing happened and gave my wife the keys without saying anything about the crack. 2 they passed the car for NYS inspection meanwhile the crack is too big as per state regulations and shouldn t have passed. 3 they said a manager will call me back after I called them in the morning. At the end of the day I called back and got the oh he s been busy with a customer . FOR SIX HOURS!!!! I think not. Just like everyone else I work go home and repeat. The dealer offers free oil changes with our lease promotion, taking the burden off me doing it myself. To get the car back damaged, no explanation and now leaving my wife with a cracked windshield all weekend. Own your mistake and make it right.

If I could leave a negative star review I would. I bought my 2017 Tucson at centereach Hyundai a few years ago, and honestly had a nice experience. Unfortunately that s where it ends.I ve had times where my car has been turning off when idling or stopped at a stop sign. Brought it to my mechanic who said nothing coded, everything looked in good working ordered.My car kept shutting off, so I brought it to the dealer to see further or if other Tucson owners were coming in with the same issue.After making an appointment for a Tuesday, I called to see what was transpiring with my car. Just to be told it wouldn t be seen until Wednesday. Told there was no loaners, they only offer them for clients with engine issues.After days with me always reaching out to them they told me no codes came up, but they believe it was the battery, as quoting my service technician it all sounds like battery related issues. Over $500 later for diagnostic, and battery, I left and less than 10 minutes later it shut off while sitting in traffic! Called and of course service department closes at 4pm so I spoke with a sale representative, who told me it should be fix at no cost to me and provided a loaner.I called the next morning to speak with service department representatives and told they wouldn t even test drive it for the following few days due to the rain.With no choice but to drive my car to work it shut off while driving so I had it towed over, which of course I called and was told a gentlemen would call me once they received it.4 hours later and still not call. As always I called them, and not once but twice they could not find my car.Once finally found I was told the service representative never put me in for an appointment so I d have to wait at least 3 days before it was seen. On to week two without a car or a loaner!As I continued to be the one calling for updates, they claimed this time it was the crank sensor, which of course was going to be over $500.After a length conversation I agreed to the sensory being replaced.When going to pick up my vehicle I was never greeted, barely acknowledged, and basically looked over because the girls at the service desk were enjoying either their conversation or the ones they were having with the boys in front of me.Needless to say my experience was horrible. I have no trust in any of the work done to my car, all from their extreme lack of communication. Unfortunately this isn t the first time I have friends and family who have had terrible experiences as well, and most of them needed a man to talk and handle things. Sad because I will be looking to trade this car in and not return to Hyundai.

I traded a used Hyundai for a new(er) vehicle. The product specialist (Yesenia) is terrific. Honest, personable and dedicated. The transaction was completed quickly and absent hidden fees. I highly recommend this dealership

I ve brought my car there multiple times they never call for a follow up. They have my car for days never do any work. absolute terrible service stay away from this dealership if you canevery time I go to this dealership I m drastically over quoted and I bring my car there for the same issues and it s never fixed after they have this car for days at a time. There services and sales teams are full of scum looking to extort money from there customersIncredibly in trust worthy and unreliable

Had seatbelt fixed picked up car cloth seat covered with grease! Went in for oil change .recommended coolant flush, did it few days later antifreeze leaking said unrelated .total cost for work done where there was no problem before $1700! Will not be returning to this dealership. Dishonest employees!
