Best experience ever- ordered low beam bulbs - Madison took the time to show me how to change them and come to find out they just needed to be adjusted and still work - she was overly helpful and happy to go the extra mile for the customer lifelong customer here....

Had purchased a part at a different advance location... Part made my car go crazy. Tried to return it at another location, was told it was not returnable because it was an electronic part and I had to go where I bought it. Came to my local Centereach location, worked with Bob, Alex and James. They were fantastic! Listened to the issue, gave the refund no questions asked as it caused my car to malfunction worse. Thanks so much for having great customer service. Will only go to this location from here on out!

Came in with an intermittent issue with my car starting, unsure if I had to replace battery or starter. Bob and Ahmed came out and tested both the battery and starter and alternator and we re able to narrow down the issue, and my battery will have to be replaced soon. Prompt and knowledgeable customer service, thanks guys I ll be back for sure.

Needed to find some specific "parts". for my Kubota Tractor.NOT your everyday "auto". Stopped in to ask Jeff for help. He was terrific took the time to research and solve my issue. Very rare to find a retail individual who cares and delivers customer service.Thank you JEFF

I need a new battery for my Dodge 1500 RAM. I went to AutoZone. The guy said he can't change the battery. It has to go to mechanic and the truck has to be shut down blah blah blah but he could sell it to me. I said no. Thanks, went to advance Auto met with James. Told him the story within 15 minutes. I had a new battery installed in my truck paid for and I was on my way. Only reason I didn't go there first because it was further from my house. Now I know for next time. Thank you

Bought a battery in this location several years ago and it seemed to be losing strength if I park my car for a couple of weeks. Brought it in spoke to Mike and he gave me a couple of diagnosis that could be wrong and charge the battery up at no cost. Seem to be very Upfront and honest. Would definitely go back to this location again.

Dissatisfied CustomerAT 7:02am Placed an online order "BATTERY-RED TOP OPTMA" for my 2017 Subaru Outback. I call the store at 1:03pm to confirm Installation at 4:00pm, I was given the Thumbs up by the representative on call. When I arrived at set time Robert W. Informed me he was the Only Representative in the store and could not perform the installation. Robert W. tried to remedy the situation by sending me up the block to his well known customers "Tilden For Brakes Car Care Center" to do the installation . The Battery was too small for my Vehicle, I returned the battery. While returning the battery (4:33pm) I noticed two other employees maning the store. When I confronted Robert W. Regarding the extra help he stated their working in a different part of the store. Hmm... STRANGE.This was a very displeasing experience!!

The best parts store around ...The staff are friendly and quite knowledgeable...Jeff the manager , is the best in the business ...Thoughtful, courteous and regular...I highly recommend this establishment...

Normally I get decent service from them but my last visit wasn't that good. I wanted to buy a new battery. The salesperson pulled a listing of different batteries for my car. When I asked the difference between the lowest and highest cost batteries, the only response was that it all depends on how you drive. He couldn't give me a technical explanation. Either he didn't know what he was talking about or thought that I have no knowledge of cars and batteries. Anyway, I ended up buying the cheapest one. They did install it for free.

In a time when everything can be ordered over the internet, the friendly staff and clean parking lot, have earned my repeat buisness. Even if they don't have it in stock...they get it by next day or even sometimes SAME DAY! I personally always look for the cheapest price, but because of the immensely helpful staff at the Centereach location...I will only shop there. Bravo to Advanced Auto parts for staffing such professional, courteous, knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you Bob and Dennis. I'll see you guys for my next project.

I brought in a battery I thought was defective. Turns out it was only the terminal on my car that was so corroded that it didn't take the charge once it had gotten weaker. Despite that I was able to get an upgrade and exchange for my battery. Dean, one of the guys behind the counter removed the old battery, installed a new one and even cleaned my terminals, all for free. He was really knowledgeable, told me what was causing the problem and rather than just sending me on my way made sure I had good connection between the car and the battery. He even offered to help and advise me on my future car projects when I told him I had an interest in DIY auto maintenance. What a great guy! Fantastic service! and I even got an upgrade on my battery!

The guys at the store were very helpful and let me check to make sure everything fit properly and even helped with a quick exchange when we realized it was the wrong size. Thanks for breaking out the dial caliper gauge

A very nice customer service and friendly people. I asked for an engine cleaner and the gentleman over there showed me a few products and gave a detailed description and how to use it.

Called for a part was put on hold for about 5 minutes not a big deal but when they finally answered they hung up after 3 words, not great customer service at all , I would normally say you'll get better service in person but I doubt it's any better, don't waste your time with this location.

Very run-of-the-mill, modern auto parts store. Cookie cutter for consumers. Can't say anything particularly good or bad.
