Recently rented a 9" Cargo Van and am overall very satisfied with the service. The owner was the one who got me all checked in, and he was super friendly and personable. He made sure to outline what the charges included and what it didn't, and took the time to go over things like insurance. Had no problems with the van while in use.Tips: If you'll be doing a lot of driving, use the mileage estimator (or if that doesn't work Google Maps or something to get a good idea of how many miles you'll be driving)Also for the cargo van the insurance is MANDATORY, not optional. When you check in online it says it's optional but that turned out not to be the case because the vans are leased. It's not a large fee ($10), but it'd be nice to know that right away.Checking in for an after-hours return is... a very, involved, process. Make sure you have a few minutes to do it. It will ask you to take a lot of pictures, including ones that you've already taken. Of course there's no way around this, so I just mention this so that you know what's in store.Still, a great experience and would definitely use them again!

Only one person working. I get that. Just waited like 45 min. to return a key. So I thought I'd write a review. Way to slow and not professional

Dave and another employee from the Potsdam location went over and above to help us with our rental. They were kind, persistent, honest and worked on the problem until we had a great solution. We cannot thank them enough. We would highly recommend using this facility or the one in Potsdam.

They like to take money from the customer. They claim you don't put fuel back where it was and charge you extra for it. Trucks are not maintained the way they should be. We rented a 26 ft. truck and it pulled to one side. Did not run that well either.

Miserable experience.I was at this location Canton, NY route 11 uhaul about 2 years ago on a very cold winter day to rent truckIt was peak of pandemic as well. I made reservation in advance and went to get truck.Took it home and realized I could not open the door where one would load cargo. What use it a truckif I cannot open door and load stuff?I took it back to location and asked for another. I was given another truck that was filthy and unclean.The truck was just returned probably by another customer and it was just filthy.There was dirt, mud and ice all over truck and inside was even worse.I found used face masks lying on seat (remember, this was pandemic time) empty bottles and left over food, some trash and stains everywhere.obviously, it was not cleaned and was given to me.And the worst part, when I asked for it to be cleaned, I got an unwelcome look and unfriendly attitude. I have never seen such unprofessional uhaul service so far, I have rented in several cities in different states, not like this.Will think twice before going back to this location again. There are few more options in this area, will try them instead.

Thank you U-Haul Canton (NY) for your excellent customer service and flexibility. In one day received our U-box to storage container to leave on site. It was simple, fast and easy! Special thanks to Kyle. I would recommend U-box especially Canton and will use again in future.

They really work with you here. I needed 26' truck and they found one and got it.I had storage for 6 months with no problems. Really safe, and I have important, expensive, fragile stuff!!!No late fees if I was late on payment, and they do not auction your stuff here.The manager was the best, always friendly.

Called u-haul in Canton, NY local number wait time was reported to be 5 minutes after 15 minutes still on hold. The sad part was I did the call while at the store. The staff were just sitting there talking to each other. This is u-haul service at its finest.

The truck was ready to go when I arrived to pick it up, after an online reservation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The truck itself was very clean. Every other Uhaul truck I've rented was iffy. The interior of the truck I got was spotless and ran great.

I called twice ,both times being told the estimated wait time was 10/15 minutes.Having waited almost 25 minutes I hung up.By the way , it was just after they opened this morning, at 9:15, I hung up at 9:40.You lost me. Rake my business somewhere else.

Made a reservation for a 26' truck, was told they had one. Got an email the next morning saying I had a confirmed reservation out of massena 45 min away. Very lazy office won't go and get trucks in order to keep their word about having trucks available for rent.
