Went for an inspection and told me my frame was rotted out. Had a quarter size rust spot. Took it to another place and it passed. Definetly not trying to save you money there! Taking to a welder i know so he can fill in spot but no reason to fail for that little bit.

My son took his jeep there to have new tires put on it and they told him he had bad axle seals and his transmission pan needed to be replaced. Alot of money in repairs so I took his jeep to my mechanic and he says there is nothing wrong with the jeep and only charged for the oil change that he preformed. Have to be careful with this place! You could find yourself paying for stuff that doesn't need to be fixed.

XL Auto just made my day!! I brought my car in this morning to have struts replaced, lots of clunking was happening while driving.(Three other mechanics told me I needed them replaced before bringing it here). Kevin called me right away letting me know my stabilizer link just needed tightening and that my struts were in good condition. I was so relieved as this saved me a lot of money!! I appreciate the honesty and integrity of this company, no more clunking and a very happy customer!! They will be getting all of my future business:):)Service: Steering & suspension repair

Absolutely love the crew here! I ve dealt with some insufferable mechanics before, but these guys are nothing like that at all, they re the best! I ve been coming to them for car issues since I bought my first car last year. Work is done in an hour, great prices, and they just make everything so simple & easy. My go-to mechanic for any problem, I 100% recommend!!Service: Oil change

They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Had all 4 new brake pads, all 4 new rotors and had a leak in the transmission line. All were repaired and working fine. The staff was easy to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Kevin fixed things on my son's Mazda 2009 that other mechanics in town said were electrical and they would not touch it. Kevin is honest and does not turn you away if he can do the job!! Saved me so much money!!

Had a terrible experience. Very dishonest. Manager, Kevin, told me my car would not pass inspection due to all four breaks needing to be replaced because they were metal on metal and quoted me near $800 to replace them all. Had my husband and another mechanic look at it and both said only one break pad was thin, everything else was completely fine. Called Kevin back and discussed this and he couldn't keep his story straight, then stated that it made no difference because one thin break pad would fail inspection. When I asked him why he told me I needed to replace them all, he couldn't give me a straight answer. I felt like I was clearly being taken advantage of and this was a very shady business. Beware!

I regularly get oil changes at XL, but I have also had other work done there (sway bar repair, blower motor replacement, resolving the mystery of a check engine light, etc.). The employees there are incredibly kind and helpful, patiently answering any questions and explaining any repairs. Most importantly, their pricing is reasonable (I have never felt like they are trying to swindle me) and their work is reliable.

Called to try to schedule an inspection. Website hours say they are open until 5:30 the guy told me they close at 5 when I asked if I could make a 5 o clock appointment. I Asked if I could come in one day at 4:30 he said they only do inspections until 4. Just overall not very friendly or helpful over the phone.I Felt as though I bugged them by even calling. Read great reviews about this place, honestly not sure how they got them. Definitely wouldn t consider taking my vehicle there for any work if I couldn t even set up a simple inspection with them. I get they don t make money off of inspections, but still could have been a bit friendlier.

Very great service! I went in for an oil change expecting to be there for about an hour, but was in and out in 20 minutes! The prices were very reasonable too. Friendly staff, who didn't try to jerk you around. Will definitely be coming back!

I chose to use this shop due to reading the positive reviews however I drop my car off for 4 hours for an alignment and an oil change when I picked up my car my service light my ABS light and my traction control light or on hooked it up to a computer at my work turns out the speed sensor is broken. They did not rotate my tires they did not perform the alignment. Please do not use the shop unless you want to have more problems leaving than what you came with

I purchased a vehicle that had over 200,000 miles on it, there is no lemon law for a vehicle with that many miles on it,...Joe did tell me that, but,...after purchasing the vehicle, he was more than willing to help me w an issue I was having with the car. He replaced the parts that he thought was the problem,...it ended up not being the issue. So...ok. He didn't charge me, but,..just said, it's gonna be good for more miles, just drive it.

Not sure what Robert B is talking about but I have taken misc. vehicles here (about 5 different vehicles) and as another reviewer said, They dont jerk you around like other shops in the area.
