These guys are very professional, honest, and humble. Had an appointment for oil change, they got it done in a timely manner and made some other recommendations for my vehicle, reasonable quote prices, without being pushy. Nick also helped me take care of a tire pressure issue free of charge when I brought it up at the end of the visit. Highly recommend and will make this my go to auto shop.

We were visiting from over 300 miles away, and had an overheated engine late on a Friday afternoon. We quickly pulled in (recommended by family we have in the area), hoping that someone could help us out. Despite being officially closed, Paul was kind enough to give our radiator, hoses and fans a thorough check and fill up the radiator fluid. He gave us great information about what to watch for and do should the overheating happen again. We are SO appreciative of the honesty, kindness and helpfulness of Uptown Automotive and highly recommend them!

High quality, and honest workReceived a quote from a dealership for some major repairs to the brake system that seemd a bit high. Brought it to Uptown for a second quote. Not only did they shave off 10-15% but they also gave me better products (tires) and what I was told would take several days was back in my possession in 48 hours. There isn t any other place in Canandaigua that I would go to have work done on my vehicles. Nick and the crew at uptown automotive are fantastic. These guys deserve 10 stars for excellent customer service and hard work! Tim, Paul, and Nick are good, honest, hard-working people who take care of their customers at a fair price and always go above and beyond. They give out excellent customer service, answer all my questions at length, and show amazing attention to detail. I won t bring my car anywhere else! Simply put - these guys are the best. 10/10 would recommend.

Nick and the guys at Uptown Automotive do a great job. They are honest about issues related to your vehicle, and fair in their pricing. I've asked them a couple times to have my car serviced in short order, and they are typically able to accommodate. The one time I had an issue with them was on a replacement motor for a rear windshield wiper. They apologized for the inconvenience, explained what went wrong, and corrected the issue without charge. I highly recommend these guys.

Recently we have needed to have a lot of work done on our car that was very unexpected. Nick has been not only honest but resourceful in finding the most cost effective but quality way to resolve the problems. After working with Nick you have no doubt that he has your best interest in mind. We completely trust him and his business and are grateful for the quality service they provide.

Nick, Tim and Paul are hands down, the best repair shop we've ever used. We have been coming here for at least 8 years and have never looked elsewhere for service. They are honest, timely and no pressure professionals. They have serviced everything of ours from an Infiniti QX60 to a 2006 Subaru, we even asked them to look over a used car we were buying and thankfully listened to their recommendation to pass on it. We love Uptown Automotive!

My husband and I were frustrated with the high prices and "fixes" that never seemed to stick at the automotive shop where we'd been taking our cars for years. After hearing glowing reviews from multiple people about Nick and Uptown Automotive on North Street in Canandaigua, we decided to give it a try. WOW. What a difference! High quality service, very fair prices, and we trust them completely to take care of our cars and our family. I love that they recognize us by name even though we only go in a few times a year. Since we started going there, our entire extended family (the local people, anyway) has also decided to trust Nick with their cars. In the last few years since we've switched, I haven't heard a single complaint from anyone in our family. We'll be customers for life!

Nick and all of the guys at Uptown always have your best interests in mind. Seems like when I bring my car to other places they ALWAYS find something wrong that needs fixing ($$). This is not the case with these guys. When they tell me something is wrong, it's actually true and they aren't out to just get my money. They are the most trustworthy, reliable and friendly repair shop in town and always go out of their way to help you out. I don't trust my car with anyone else now that I've found them and have saved so much money because of it. Thank you!!

DO NOT GO HERE!! THEY DO NOT FIX ANYTHING!!Horrible experience!! Went there 4 times (the only reason we went back is because our dealership uses them) they kept trying to "put a band-aid" on instead of actually solving the problem. They would always say "it'll be done tomorrow".. and it never was done on time.. They were rude, and on top of everything they locked the ONLY set of keys (that is all that came with the car) we had in the car!!Again they cannot solve the problem once again our dealership made us go back and once again the check engine came on.. with the same code it has had for 5 times.. WOULD NOT SUGGEST FOR ANYONE HORRIBLE

My dad is a retired mechanic, and this is the only place he will recommend! Nice guys, great service, & most importantly, they will never sell you something you don t need. Honesty & integrity above all else!

I've been using Uptown Auto for over a year now. I'm very picky about where my cars are serviced and by whom. The guys there not only accurately and efficiently troubleshoot and repair your vehicle, they won't "upsell" you on parts or services you don't need. Best part is, they always fit me into their hectic schedule.As a "car guy" I want competent mechanics repairing my vehicles when I can't - and the guys at Uptown Auto are my choice.(oh - and that waiting room is fantastic, too!)

I'm from out of town camping for the weekend. I noticed something was wrong, I took my van in at 1:30 on Friday. They where . booked solid but fit me in and fixed my van in a couple of hours I was on my way. They could have charged me anything but were very fair. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dropped my car off because it was leaking oil. Not only did they fix it in no time, but they topped off my oil and all for a great price. Highly Recommended!
