I wanted to share an amazing experience with the new store manager David R.I needed answers to a complicated situation and he was so incredibly professional, articulate and more important then ever KIND. He showed genuine interest in helping me. He researched and corresponded .appropriately . Figure out how to Keep this guy happy! He's worth every penny. I will definitely be coming back! So, just went to get an oil change and pop my window back on track. Simple right? Unless you take your vehicle to Mr. Tire Canandaigua. First it was at least 2 hours of waiting, then a guy finally comes out and says, "I'd like to show you something, come back with me". So I follow back to the "shop" and the tech shows me my door and points to the window asking me if I was in accident or if I got a window from a junkyard. I said no, I've had this for 2 years. The tech pointed to yellow marks on my window and says that's the marks they use when its picked out of a junkyard. Mind you I clean my car religiously and its never had these marks prior to this appointment. He didn't even bother to point out the weather stripping they threw on.Basically I had to have someone else look later. Mr. Tire Canandaigua broke the clip inside the window, made it worse by lying about it and jamming a bunch of stuff in the window to hold it together. The window is yes back on track. But half the casing comes with it.Gotta spend more money to fix it properly, and my vehicle has been making a god awful noise I can't find where is coming from. Just started after my visit.I will never ever go to Mr. TIRE Canandaigua again. Horrible, horrible, untrustworthy, liars, scammers.

Like the website where you can sign in select what services you want done and make an appointment. Then if they can fulfill it they accept it . Then 20 mins before your appointment they call and say they can only do one of the services . Then why even accept the reservation. Wasted my time when I would ve kept searching for somewhere else to take care of my needs

They rented me a car with bald tires, then, after having it towed back and discovering they were bald and had holes in them, asked me two additional times to drive it somewhere else. After much arguing about it and then telling me I would have to leave the car somewhere else and come back the next day, they gave me another car (no discounts or apologies) then tried to charge me for not filling up the tank on the first car that was unsafe to operate. I will never rent from this company again. I m just thankful I didn t get injured because of their lack of concern for the safety of their customers.

The sign posted at the airport budget is a lie. The budget closes at 10pm no matter what. The sign says they man the desk until 11:45, lie. The sign says they have a shuttle to the main lot, lie. The sign says they stay until the last flight, lie. Take down the sign and just say what you're going to do is not stay for business and disappoint customers.

Terrible placeI reserved a car 2 weeks in advance.When I got there they had no cars, 2 people that had reservations were waiting for their cars, and they gave me a Jeep Gladiator.I returned it a few days laterThen they called the next day and said when I had it the windshield got crackedBULL!!!!!I returned it in perfect conditionThey are trying to charge me for something they probably did, so my legal department will handle it.

Last minute rental from a diverted flight, and budget was the only rental agency allowing one way rentals. Tish was extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks Tish!

This is a new location for me but I was very happy with the service here as well. My visit was just for an oil change. No complaint. Employees were friendly and easygoing, wait was minimal, price was competitive, it was all just fine. Would recommend.

I've always tried to avoid these types of shops. To their credit, once I got to know them and utilize them, they've really been extremely helpful. My truck's tire seems to have a thing about attracting sharp objects on the road. When it happens, I give them a call and they take care of the problem.

This particular locations is run by total scam artists. I booked ( and paid for) a rental car online two weeks ago for my trip today. I get to the rental booth and the man at the desk tells me that I need a 4 digit code to verify that it is indeed my rental car. Well when I called budget customer service, they have absolutely no idea what he was talking about! So after not receiving the rental car I paid for, the man at the desk tells me that the only option I had was to pay for another car. He told me the price would be $330 which is TWICE as much as I paid for the same car two weeks ago.I ended up going to enterprise and getting a top of the line suv for $150

Very Rude girl on the country, my company did the reservation for a car and she said i need the company card to get the car, she wanna charge me 900 dollars extras and the car was already reserved for 200$

I was doing a one way drop off at this location and my rental period ends precisely at 11:38AM and I specifically asked at the location where I picked up car about the grace period and I was told I have 29 minute after reservation ends. As long as drop my car before 12:07, I only need to pay the original amount. I came inside the premises at 11:55AM and stood in line before 12:00 as there were few others who were before me. The guy at front desk took the keys from me at 12:03 and he walked all the way from the front desk to the car, checked the fuel and the condition of car, moved the car to a different place, came back and printed the receipt at 12:10 and charged me 200 dollars more than original amount. I didn't notice first and I went back immediately after couple of minutes and the manager (lady) said she can't do anything and that I will have to deal with original location I rented from. I told her to atleast put something n writing that I entered the premise and stood in line before 12:10 and she flat out refused. She was incapable of doing simple math around the fore-mentioned times. I called the guy who dragged his feet and delayed the printing of the receipt and asked him to tell manager when I stood in line and his response was "you are cool guy but I can't help" and I asked him to just share the truth and what happened and he remained silent because that idiot was spineless to cross his unintelligent manager. I felt like they were intentionally targeting me because of my brown skin. What a lousy place and lousy people. I will skip budget for my future car rental needs for the way they treated me. That spineless guy couldn't even look into my eyes as I waited for my ride.

Got me right in same day to mount and balance my tires after Mavis refused to do it. Ended up being cheaper than Mavis also. Highly recommend this shop. Staff was also wonderful.

These people are scam artists... I rent cars all the time and rented this one through Amex Travel (thank God). Everything was great until I got the invoice after returning. First the car charge alone was $200 more that what I reserved it for. The Kendra, the office manager, tried to tell me this was due to taxes and fees but it obviously wasn't....the line item receipt was clearly showing the car alone was $600 vs the $400 i was quoted. I had to work through Amex Travel to get this resolved.The car was also half way filled with gas when I picked it up. I filled it up to 3/4 full before returning and provided receipt. I drove the car less the 100 miles and was charged $80 for gas, even though the car was only half way full when I picked it up and returned 3/4s full. Kendra was incredibly rude about this and told me a manager would call me back. Despite following up with calls and email I never spoke with the other managers Ken and Donna so I have had to dispute the gas charge with Amex.If you are forced to use this subpar Budget franchise please book through a third party who will have your back like Amex Travel. Otherwise this place would've stolen ~$300 from me

Mr. Tire worked with me to get the tires I needed quickly, effectively and efficiently. Their customer service and knowledge is unparalleled. Dillon and Mitch were extremely friendly, thorough and professional! I will be taking my vehicle here for my tires in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

I called twice to get prices and confirm availability of tires, made an appointment for the next day and everything seemed good. My fianc� shows up for her scheduled appointment, sits there an hour and a half and she is told agreed upon tires are no longer in stock. Salesman says only tires they have in stock are twice as expensive and he won t charge us for mounting and balancing. Sounded like they were trying to take advantage of her and I told her to get her old ones back on and leave. Very bad business practices there, would not recommend to anyone.

I was able to make an appointment in a timely manner (the next morning) to fix my leaky tire. I was greeted by name in a friendly fashion and my vehicle was taken into the shop on schedule. The manager provided up-front pricing and updated me as my vehicle was worked on. Reasonable prices and excellent customer service. I will return to this location as necessary in the future.

If you enjoy being extorted for extra money, placed on a do not rent list by accident and told you can t be removed ever and having the worst customer service of your life then this is the place for you. However if you expect to be treated fairly and honestly then I highly suggest you choose another location and not this franchise location!!!

Took my money for a rental for my 19 year old son, after name and age provided when reserving car. Refused to let him pick up the car, claiming age is 21+. Agent hung up on me when I called about it. Main customer service number told me that they should have rented him the car.

If i could give this place a negative 100 I will Do not I mean Do not rent from this location they are full it. the karen-Kendra wet dog smelling ssa is very rude and very racist she added me to do not rent list I will never deal with budget again. clearly everyone has a bad experience here the reviews are awful.

Deceptive Pricing - Inconvenient Swapping for Replacement CarWill not do business with them again. They are a private Franchise so you will not get help from Budget Corporate to deal with complaints.We felt something was odd when we could not find their pick up location in the Birmingham airport garage with all of the other rental companies. No signage, nothing. We found it far away from the other companies.I had reserved online for a price of $178, only to find the out the door cost was $380! Come on. It was not taxes either, it was a series of "fees". Totally Misleading. My experience has been that companies today are usually very up front about the total cost. Not this one.The car that they gave us was nice, new and clean. I credit them that.We were heading from Birmingham to Tuscaloosa (about 50 miles). At about mile 24 we noticed the low tire pressure warning and pulled quickly off the highway. We had picked up a sliver of metal on the highway. We called Budget and said that we could change the flat tire (there was a donut spare) and we would then like to continue on to Tuscaloosa since we were half way to our destination. That is when we discovered that they are not affiliated with all other Budget places. We had to back track all the way back to the airport. They had us fill out an accident report and gave us a new car.Two weeks later we got a bill from them for $358 for the tire replacement.So our Budget experience was a lot more expensive and inconvenient than past experiences with other rental agencies.You get what you pay for! Don't be fooled by a too good to be true come on price.

I was the last vehicle of the day and Anthony was working with a female technician. They were both personable and pleasant. While the tires were being changed, Anthony was very helpful in reviewing tire options for another car of mine.

My experience With Budget was nothing but positive! After reading some reviews I was concerned that things may not go smoothly. Also, at my time of rental, other car rental companies at Birmingham Airport were experiencing double bookings and not having cars available when reserved. I was there for a UA college orientation and many other parents I had talked to had arrived to no car with other rental companies when they have a reservation. Not only was my car ready and waiting after my 4 hour delayed flight, the female employee assisting me at 10:00 at night had the best customer service. We were off with no problem and returning the car was even easier! I was barely pulled into my return spot when the car was already assessed and reviewed and my receipt was in hand. I had planned for the return to take some time and I was done within minutes. Will definitely rent from Budget again without hesitation.

Kevin and Tom did a fantastic job.. I need 4 tires and alignment and Kevin was able to take me in right away. I got a great deal on Goodyear Tires! Fast efficient and reliable is what I would say. I also wanted to state that the showroom is clean and beautiful! They have just remodeled the store and it looks awesome. If you are looking for tires or service I would absolutely recommend Mr Tire in Canandaigua.
