As someone who knows the employees in this building I am writing this out of respect for them.The new store manager, Chris, has a started a world of problems. He barely knows what he is doing in a shop setting. He will do things corporate says he should not be doing.The employees there, including the "TSM" (assistant manager) do not get lunch breaks.The TSM and new technician there have been promoted and told their promotions would have gone through 2 weeks ago and they have not.So they are working and doing these new jobs with more responsibility without being paid the correct amount for it.The new manager isn't making moves to hire new people, there are 3 people employed there. The manager, the assistant manager and the technician.I have grown tired of watching these things happen and keeping my mouth shut about it. I would honestly think twice before taking my car there either because sometimes the store manager is working on the cars, and he hasn't touched a car in over a decade until a week and a half ago.Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you take my words into consideration.

Ben is AMAZING!!! He went above and beyond and fit me right in!! He was very helpful and very honest. Nobody could get my lug nuts off to do my brakes and he was able to get them off without cutting them or having to replace the whole wheel hub!! He is awesome!! If you need anything done, ask for Ben. The best customer service and you can trust him. Thank you so so so much!!!

Writing this review for my mom,We went in around 6 pm. Her tires were low on air and she wasn't comfortable leaving them all night.We went in and told the new manager, Chris, that she needed air in her tires and they needed 34 pounds.He filled them to 32. We felt ignored and as if he just wasn't paying attention because it was close to closing time.

My husband and I had a fantastic first ever visit today! This, per an unexpected and urgent tire repair need, and on a Sunday no less!! Our best to Manager Ben and the employee who worked on my car, we'll be back someday for sure!!!

Amazing service today from Ben at Monro Canandaigua. Super friendly and very honest in terms of what was not wrong with our car. We also had a great experience making the appointment yesterday when we stopped in. Thanks for taking us so quickly!

Vacationing in town and had a tire problem on the weekend. Easily made an online appointment for a Sunday morning. Ben performed a fast and thorough repair and checked tire pressure on all tires. He had me on my way quickly - no charge! Great, friendly service!

Although I couldn't get my problem resolved today, they made sure I could get home dry at the very least . Honest and helpful, stand up gentlemen for sure. Best customer service I've had in a very long time

Went in to have a wheel alignment checked on our Chevy cruze. It seemed to be slightly drifting to the left. However the technician found it to be within specs and test drove it. The service manager (Ben) was super friendly and knowledgeable and the check was free of charge.Thank-you very much!

These guys are absolutely amazing! I had an emergency on a trip from Buffalo to N.J. and called 5 different places And everyone told me I was screwed. I had almost given up but decided to call one more place and this was it. They said they could squeeze me in right before close. I 100% recommend them. They were super friendly and did a fantastic job. If you re looking for a great quality service, look no further!

Ben did a phenomenal job! Professional. Friendly. It was only a simple state inspection... but he took the time to put my new plates on the car and to make sure the inspection sticker and registration sticker were perfectly straight!

I can t say enough about Mark and his staff at Monroe Muffler. We have been going here for over ten years and each time we are pleased with the quality of work they deliver. Not only is the customer service top notch, but they always offer fair estimates and provide phenomenal service on our vehicles. Add to each they are friendly, accommodating and very trustworthy. Once again, thank you Mark for excellent service and keeping our vehicles running smoothly. PS... your showroom looks amazing!

Had an emergency issue with my brakes. I called them at 4pm and they got me in immediately and fixed it so I could get home. Probably made the mechanic's day a bit longer. This place is the best.

Rich and Ben were very friendly, professional, and made sure to thoroughly explain the work my Jeep needed to be safe (on an unexpected 12 hour drive) and what could wait until I returned home. They showed me the physical wear and parts on the vehicle instead of just explaining. They also squeezed me, understanding I was in a rough spot. I am impressed by their service and will return.

Rich the manager is amazing!! I had a nail in my tire & needed it patched. Rich and his team were able to get the job done in less than an hour! (Another local Monro franchise had told me I'd have to wait over 2 weeks for an appointment). These guys are the most customer centered staff I've had the pleasure to work with in many years! I'm definitely going back.

Last week I had extensive brake work done. The manager was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. My mechanic, the assistant manager, was great too. She did a great job on my car. It rides like new again. I was glad to see the customer area remodeled. It was long overdue. Much brighter & more comfortable. Having car repairs done is never fun, but I felt like I was treated with respect & my business seemed appreciated. Two customer service qualities that many businesses lack these days. I will go back again.

I'm never going anywhere else! Had an emergency. They took my car in last minute and it was ready in 24 hrs. They took amazing care of my car. I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg but the price was just as amazing as Mark and his guys! I wish I could give 1000 stars! I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Mark and the guys are all great. I've been coming here for years and they have always worked with me. They let me know what they recommend, but always offer the most cost effective as well. I've never felt pressured to have them do work and they are always willing to explain why they recommend what they do. They are the ONLY car repair facility i will recommend to friends and family.

I was able to get an appointment right away and after work which was convenient. Very professional staff, he explained everything being done to the car. I was only charged for what we had discussed and I could see the car the entire time. The oil change was very fast, about 20 minutes. I'll definitely go back.

Wanted to share my awesome experience at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers (Canandaigua, NY) yesterday. I was in desperate need of new brake pads (they sounded SO BAD) and getting to an auto shop during the week is very difficult for me. I saw that Monro was open on Sundays and got there right when they opened. Even though I didn't have an appointment, they were able to get me in. They even stayed after closing in order to get my brakes fixed before the end of the day. Fran, the owner, called me with estimate before work was started and even noticed I was in need of a state inspection and took care of that as well. The final cost was very reasonable and there was no upselling of other services. I would highly recommend them and will return again!

I picked up a screw in one of my tires. The 2-man crew get me in VERY quickly. My car was available to me in less than 10 minutes. I brought a book to read to pass the time and I didn't have time to read it. Good deal. The 2 guys were really efficient. Thanks to Both!

Excellent service. I had broken down and Monro saw me as soon as I had my car towed to them. They ordered the water pump, which had seized and broken my serpentine belt, and had me on the road within a few hours on a Sunday when no other shops were open. Understanding I was 300 miles from home, they did a thorough testing to ensure I wouldn t be stranded. Great people.

I picked up half a nail and needed a repair a couple hours before these guys closed, so I worked with Mark and he got me right in.Monro was actually the second place I called but the the first to respond in something resembling a friendly manner, so I gave them a shot.I dropped off the car and they were able to get me patched up and on my way before closing time. It s hard to ask for more under the circumstances. I would highly recommend them and would definitely utilize them again!

This place is the greatest! Matt and Mark are my guys when it comes to keeping my beloved 2002 Volkswagen Beetle running and maintained. I honestly never go anywhere else for service. There is no need to. My little Beetle has been something of a restoration project and there hasn't been a single thing that I've brought to them that Matt and Mark couldn't handle. And they definitely let me know that I'm valued as a customer as well. Give them a try! You won't be sorry you did!

Excellent service! Mark is an honest guy who says it as it is. He's not going to pressure you into anything, but will thoroughly inform you of what needs to be done. We trust Monro Muffler as long as Mark is running it and recommend it highly.

We took our car there for an inspection yesterday. Car was totally fine except for the sway bar links. The price for the repair was great, and they fixed it immediately. No complaints on that front. My main complaint, is that the car is now making a very loud rotational noise when driving between 20 to 40 miles per hour. We are going to have to take it somewhere else to get looked at. Which is a shame, because the guy who helped us was so nice.

Mark (Canandaigua Monro Auto Service Center) was fantastic. He worked both my vehicles into the schedule. He found a couple items needing replacement to ensure my safety. Brad (in the shop) installed the tires and replacement parts efficiently. He even cleaned out the garbage from the from seat. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE CENTER. I will definitely take my vehicles to this center for all my automotive service.
