The worst store to go to I had the worst experience, I brought my tire with the rim and I asked them to take it off and install it on a different rim, and the tire was new after 30 minutes they said your tire is not good and it s got a lump in it, after I took the tire back I looked how much air in it it was double they put double of the amount of air that it needs, and they also install things without asking you or calling you to let you know that your car need this part. be careful there, they like to scam people

Kyle was very friendly at checkout. Randell was very polite on the phone with me and was able to get me right in for an oil change. They all are good guys here. I left very happy :)

The Manager Bruce is just Amazing on what he does, his Team is also Amazing on what they do for their customers!! If I have an emergency with a vehicle I have I give them a call and they try to squeeze me in at a time just to help me out. The Friendship I made with them (also I work at advance down the street from them) is just Fantastic. Thank you for what you do!!!

Great guys here. Friendly knowledgeable and funny. Took me in got me out in a reasonable time. The mechanic did a great job. I'll be back. Truck rides perfectly. The tires suggested are awesome. Thanks again Mavis.

Crashed my friends car, sent the guy home before any police report could be done. All it was there for was tires and an alignment.I m not joking. Legit crashed the car. Hit a curb yet damaged a lot more than what a curb would do. Oh and they drove away from the scene of the accident. No police report, no accident report on behalf of them.Absolutely shady individuals.

These guys are awesome, they hooked me up with a tire when i really needed it and i came in like 5 min before they closed on easter weekend . Very professional and knowledgeable . Would recommend !

It can be challenging to find an honest place to a vehicle for repairs that are done right. I use my vehicles daily and put a lot of mies on all of them. I recently started using Mavis and am very happy with their service and level of support. Randall is excellent at his job. He listens to my concerns and makes sure the job gets done right.

After being a loyal customer for years, I am looking for someplace else. I made an appointment for 3pm to have my snow tires put on. At 5pm it had not been taken into the garage yet. I was furious and reminded the manager I had an appointment at 3pm and was told only one car in front of me so it would be quick. Now at 5pm I told him to just give me my keys and I left.

I made an appointment a week early for Feb 3rd at this Mavis location, and I brought my vehicle in to have an alignment done. When I got there, they told me I was scheduled for the day after (on Sunday, not Saturday). That was an error made by Mavis because I called specifically asking for a Saturday appointment. So on Feb 4th, I brought it back in. Shortly after the Mavis folks got it in the garage, the guy at the desk told me that my right rear wheel was 15� off and they had to order shims. So...I was told that the shims would be ordered and I would be called to have another appointment time set up. Nobody at Mavis called to reschedule the appointment. So a few days later, I brought my car to another well-known chain that does car service. The car was aligned in about 45 minutes and I was out the door. NO shims required.I just want to thank the Mavis Canandaigua location for not being able to schedule me properly, and for not mounting the alignment equipment properly on the right rear. If my solid axle rear wheel drive vehicle was off 15�, it would mean that my axle is extremely bent and it very well could not move/drive. You could see that from a mile away.Please train your people to recognize what 15� off would look like. Maybe hold up a hubcap 15� relative to where it should be and then look at it. Open your eyes. That would be my recommendation.

I made an appointment online and was given a price (online) for four new tires and a free oil change. Only to be told it would be a couple of hours wait, and the online price was wrong: "off by $400". If I had known this, I would have gone elsewhere and not waited 3 hours to be told, "The online price is wrong."

On September 9, 2023 I had an appointment in Canandaigua to havefour new tires put on my truck. When I arrived at my appointment I wastold by the assistant at the desk that it would be 1 1/2 hours. I walked acrossthe street and ran a few errands and returned after 1 hour and 20 minutes.My truck was still on the lift with all the tires off. I asked and was told that theyare working on it. After about an hour I see them taking the tires off of the rims.A little while later I walk by the window again only to see that the worker hadstacked my rims on top of each other and while looking I see the rims fall on topof each other as he ran into them and knocked them over. The assistant wasnear there and immediately bent down and looked at the rims. When he cameback into the counter area I asked him if there was any damage on the rims and hereplied "you need to talk to the manager". The manager, Bruce, was out in the shopat this time. A few minutes later he came back in and when I asked him if therewas any damage from them being knocked over he said "nope !". They also damaged thetire pressure sensor, which they let me know nothing about, and did not have areplacement there. It took over an hour to bring one in. After over 4 hours my truckwas finally done. I did get a $50 credit for all of this. Well we were not done. I waspretty upset and just wanted to leave. I quickly looked over the wheels and left. AsI was going down the road I saw that the tires read 0,38,18 and 30 for tire pressure.I immediately turned around and went back. The manager was on his way out andI told him that he should turn around and take care of the problem. Apparentlythe sensors were not reset, he came out with some sort of plug in meter and resetall the sensors. As he was doing this I took a better look at the rims and noticed many dings, scratches on the rims. Damage that happened there. I also see that a lug nut wasreplaced with one that did not match the rest of the lugs. And the Ram head thatis in the center of the rim is GONE on the right rear !! He did find it in the shop, but the mechanic failed to put it back in. It also would have been nice if they would have letme know that they broke the lug. It's a 2 year old truck, I really don't want a lug that waslaying in a tool box that does not even match. The rims were repaired and Mavis did pay for that, thank you. I bought a new lug and replaced it. I would like to be reimbursed forthat also. Justin, who I have been talking to, has pretty much blown me off on this.He sent me a pretty confusing text explaining his reasoning for not paying for this.I can send a copy of the receipt. Also the assistant who was working use foul languageon the phone. It sounded like he was talking to a friend. Totally uncalled for with customersin the waiting area. 2 other people were there waiting with me. One gentleman was there 4+ hours for 4 tires and another 3.5 + hours for 4 tires and an alignment. I have never had such a horrible and stressful experience having work done on a vehicle. I wrote this and sent it to them right after I was there. Mavis did pay to have the rims repaired after a few calls. They wanted me to go to Canandaigua, $15.00 in gas, to get the refund on the lug. I refused and now I can call and get it. This was such a waste of my time being there so long and all the time texting, calling and emailing. TOTAL STRESS. I will never go back there again and have told all my friends of my experience.

Don t bother setting up an appointment here. The average tire change stated online for 4 tires says 40 minutes. I made my appointment for 11 am. I don t have anyone to pick me up. I get there at 11 for my APPOINTMENT and I m rudely greeted and asked if I m leaving my car there. I was confused and he told me it would be 3 to 4 hrs. Clearly they overbooked themselves and I explained I couldn t wait that long. So he told me 2 hrs and here I am sitting past the 2 hr mark waiting for my car. I would have never had them do my vehicle today if they wouldn t have lied and then told me they could do it in 2 hrs. Not cool and I m not happy. I do not recommend this mavis tire. Then at one point the guy saw me waiting over in the corner and said Jesus Christ and walked away. This location is also run down and dirty.Edit to add: the total time was 2 hrs and 50 minutes. When I checked out the one guy thought it would be funny to tell me to smile or I will double your bill . His buddy who was checking me out turns to him and tells him I already paid. Disgusting people.

I picked up a small piece of metal in my tire and was not going to be able to get home. They were only open for another hour, but I pulled in and they helped me out right away. Very courteous front desk. Thank you so much for getting me back on the road.

Mavis in Canandaigua is the only one to work on my truck. I have had nothing but good customer service from them, timely and on track. I encourage everyone to try them out, you will not be disappointed!

Nothing discount about it. My fault for not researching, but I could have ordered the same tires online brand new for $75 less PER TIRE and paid to have them put on for $20 a tire - a net savings of $55 a tire.Tire pressure was not appropriately checked before I left - tires were at 28, 30, 35 and 41. All new and put on by them.Staff was friendly and helpful and was able to come in with no appointment which was nice because I had to put the donut on due to a nail in one tire making it completely flat.

I want to thank Logan and Desmond at Mavis Tires, Canandaigua, NY. They were wonderful! While traveling from Rochester, NY to Syracuse, NY after having had new tires put on at Mavis in Chili, my tire light came on. I found the closest Mavis was in Canandaigua and headed there. They took my car right in and quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken tire sensor. Since the tires were fine and it was safe to drive I continued on to my appointment and when I returned home Mavis in Chili replaced my broken sensor with no problem. I was so impressed by how helpful both Logan and Desmond were and would certainly recommend them! The staff at Chili were also very accommodating.

I want to take a moment to say thank you so much to Randall, Nathan, and the rest of the crew for all of their help. I was traveling with my sister in law and niece and my tire sensor and tire pressures all started going after driving for 6 hours in the middle of the night. When I arrived at Mavis in Canandaigua, Randall quickly took care of my car and got us safely back on the road. They are all very kind, helpful, and professional. We would definitely recommend this Mavis to our friends and family. Thank you again!

Desmond and Logan provided excellent customer service! Desmond was courteous, communicative and gave me an accurate time estimate for the work being done. Logan took the time to explain in detail what needed to be done to my car and why. Both were extremely helpful in finding affordable tires for me and the work was completed quickly. Thanks guys!

Phenomenal service!!!We were 4 hrs from our home in Canada when our alternator went on our old van. Logan, Aaron and Bruce persevered 2.5 hrs past closing time to get us on the road!! Fantastic guys who go above and beyond.!!!

I rarely write letters of this nature, having done so only once or twice in my lifetime. However, I felt compelled to advise others to steer clear of Canandauiga Mavis Tire and opt for places where the management and staff genuinely value your business. Ultimately, after reading my letter, others can make their own decision.Dear Mavis,I am writing to express my sincere disappointment with the service I recently received at your Canandaigua Mavis Tire location. As a previous customer, I have had generally positive experiences, so I was surprised and dismayed by the unacceptable level of service during my most recent visit.I arrived at Canandaigua Mavis at opening, but they were too busy and rescheduled me for 3 pm. The manager was unfriendly and seemed apathetic. When I returned at 3, he didn't recognize me and admitted to forgetting my appointment, asking me to return in the evening. My car wasn't ready then, so I left it overnight. The manager promised to finish it first thing in the morning, but it still wasn't done when I called at 11:30 am. He then said to come by 1 PM. Upon arrival, he didn't recognize me for the third time, offered no apologies, and said it would take more time. After waiting an additional 1 hour in the parking lot, my car, with two new front tires and an front alignment, was finally ready.At no point did he offer an apology or attempt to make things right. His attitude came across as apathetic, arrogant and lacking in basic customer service skills. He simply did not care. I noticed he often uses phrases like "my guys" and "my people." It seems he enjoys being in charge and carries a certain level of arrogance and entitlement.I understand businesses get busy and they can work short, but clear communication, empathy and a commitment to customer satisfaction could have easily turned this into a positive experience - values I have seen from your company before. Unfortunately, this manager's conduct made me feel that my time and business were not valued.As a result, I cannot recommend your Canandaigua location to other customers at this time. I hope you will look into the management and service culture at this shop. With more focus on respectful, transparent communication and honoring commitments to customers, you can get back to delivering the excellent service I know your brand is capable of. I ve always gotten good service and quality work at Mavis Canandaigua. After changing wheels they even check the torque of your lug nuts after 25 miles of driving. I ve had a variety of maintenance and repairs done here with good results each time.
