While driving home my car started making a horrible grinding sound. I didn't feel safe driving home and Master Tech was closest to me. I pulled in, a tech checked the problem and pulled my vehicle right into the shop. Thankfully it was an "easy" fix! The service team was fantastic and attentive!

I've had my vehicles out there a few times. One had major service, the others were regular service and inspections. The work is fantastic, the staff at the counter is wonderful. If you need a shop that is trustworth, and gives you a good value for your money, this is it.

I really trust the work done here. They have never treated me unfairly or done less than stellar work for a fair price. I've moved to Rochester recently and am now about to call Master Tech to schedule an oil change and to have a "noise" in the rear of the car diagnosed along with the brakes checked. They've never turned a noise into an expensive repair, thank goodness. My car is 13 years old and is still running great, and some of the credit for that is Master Tech.

I had a front end alignment last year and they tightened it up so well, I can clearly tell it's been the best I've ever had done, drives straight as a pin. So I just went back for a rear differential problem and their mechanic was honest, stated what I Needed and talked to me like I'm a friend of his.I had a pretty good idea what was wrong but don't have the right tools or the experience to do it myself. I won't take my truck anywhere else now!Thanks for being an honest shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This past weekend our car's master serpentine belt broke, rendering the car completely inoperable. Fortunately, we stopped right in front of a man's house who owner called Phil, the owner, and explained the situation. Phil said that he would take on the repair, first thing the following morning even though he wasn't open.( It was almost closing time) A jump start to my now dead battery, and I was able to limp the car 1 mile to the garage, where I parked it and waited for the phone call. True to his word, Phil had it repaired first thing in the morning. Being on a trip and from another state, we were vulnerable, but Phil is an honest man. He could've taken advantage of the situation, but DID NOT. I would highly recommend Master Tech Automotive for any repairs that need to be done. His shop is spotless, and the staff was friendly. I stumbled in to MasterTech after doing some on-line research. When I saw the pictures of beautifully re-built antique cars, I knew I was in exactly the right place. I needed an evaluation of some serious electical issues including weird check engine light faults. In addition, I needed to get an honest evaluation of whether to continue with my 1997 F-150. 26 years with our family since the showroom floor. I needed some good advice and tough love! As someone else commented above, I think Phil can fix anything. He was able to pin point two serious problems with the electrical system and my engine, which had a gasket leak and had started to burn coolant. It was time for my old truck to move on. Phil and Kaylee (out front) were a real help to me. They are friendly, beyond capable and the price is more than fair. Can't recommend highly enough -- especially for more subtle and sophisticated problems.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I am not sure how this place has such high ratings, but they do not deserve it. Poor customer service overall and treated the customer like trash.Performed the service without asking owner's permission to do so and charged extra for it. Finished all the work on a Friday but waited until four days later to tell the owner about it.Blamed the customer for his own personal ill-health. Overall not very impressed. Phillip the owner apparently worked on the car and seemed very unprofessional in his conducts. Bad communication overall from him. Everyone else in the store were very professional. Not sure if he was having a bad day or something, but it was not acceptable, period.The car was fixed, but took too long and service was poor. Not coming back!Re: owner response, it was not me, but my girlfriend who got service here. I am not comfortable with providing further information.

My parents recommended this shop and I m glad they did.Great all around experience. I m from Arizona so was concerned about having someone I don t know working on my vehicle.. but this place is awesomeWork was completed promptly, no unnecessary repairs, and their prices are very reasonable! They have great prices on tires too!Car runs better than ever . When I m in town visiting family .. I ll definitively get my vehicle maintenance done HERE!Thanks master tech

My mom goes here to get work done on her car. Loves it. Says everyone is very nice. I'd say look for the BIG TIRE on rt 5&20 but they changed it to a sign. BRING BACK THE TIRE:)

Wonderful ladies at the front desk! Helped get my car in and out. Also helped with seeing if my warranty would cover my issue. Will definitely bring bringing my car in for maintenance!

Phil Bassage is very honest and hardworking. His prices are competitive and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They always have smiles and make you feel welcome. Always discuss what needs to be done before they do it.

Phil has installed power brakes into my 1974 Corvette and fixed a violent shake in my 1934 Studebaker, among other things. I don't think there is much he can't fix, particularly when it comes to older cars. I've found their prices range from fair to low. This is customer service at its best. From the phone call to the check out, every time I go, I feel great about taking my car to Master Tech. The mechanic who works on your car is visible from the waiting area, and is often the person who comes out and speaks with you about what your car needs. They are honest and price their work very reasonably. Mike, Melissa and every other person with whom I've dealt there are fantastic. We love Master Tech!

Great shop, great customer service, came in for alignment, had issues that needed to be addressed, quoted a fair price and they worked with me to resolve issues prior to getting alignment completed the right way.

Phil and his staff have demonstrated the best service possible. I have used Mastertech for over 12 years for antique cars, classic cars and our normal everyday cars. No situation is beyond their talent. I have had parts that were unavailable made by them that perfume perfectly.With the number of cars we have we have from time to time needed some emergency work. For example our daughter near Philadelphia was almost into labor for her first child. We jumped in our Expedition to get there before the birth. But the low tire light was on and I called Phil. Even though his lot was full of cars that he was to take care he got me right in and we were on our way. Just one example of his dedicated customer service.So obviously I have recommended Master Tech to many people. And will continue to do so. This is my recommendation to anyone reading this review .USE MASTERTECH FOR ALL YOUR VEHICLE NEEDS!!!!!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Was there recently when my truck needed emergency service during plow season. I dropped my truck off and jumped in my wife's car to drive back home and they called to tell me my truck was ready before we even got home. Great service and honest staff with diesel knowledge!! . Will be returning there in the spring for planned truck upgrades!

Brake lines failed at the start of a 600+ mile drive. Despite being short-staffed, MTA worked me in and got me back on the road that afternoon. All the staff was very professional and courteous. Lobby is super clean. These folks take serious pride in what they do. They earned the highest recommendation I could possibly give. Thank you MTA. God bless you.

Love, love, love this place. The service is always so phenomenal and personable. The work is always reliable and reasonably priced. I have never had to wait long for the work to be completed, nor for them to fit me in regardless of the shortness in notice on my part.

Master Tech staff is awesome to work with! We were able to change vehicles in an appointment when we had a brake line fail. They were able to get it done by the next day.

I have been taking my car to mastertech for years and have never had a bad experience. They do great work for really competitive prices and are professional in everything that they do. They fix what needs to be fixed and they tell you the truth about what needs to be fixed.

My first time there and they had my car fixed in a few hours. They were friendly, professional and very reasonable with the cost. I would highly recommend them.
