Made an online appointment for 8:30 AM. Walked in at 8:26. No lines no waiting one vehicle in the driveway. Both men were sitting at the desk. I came in for changeovers and wanted new valve stems. And went next-door for a coffee and came back to a dirty filthy sitting room. At 9:25. I got up to check how much longer it would be and I found the Manager with his feet on the desk on his phone texting. I turned to him and said is my car almost done.? he said no it s not even in there yet. I was not too happy about this. I had an appointment and I explained that to him. He said you can t use that system online he goes it s terrible and it always screws up things. We re swamped November and December so the appointments aren t kept well. And I explained what s the point of having an appointment system if you don t abide by it? Again, he explained they re just too busy to keep track of it and you can t get near the place. Well, I seem to! Needless to say, I had a 10 o clock appointment to meet my friend and here it is my car isn t even in the garage. He said he d get it in as soon as he can. This gentleman doesn t deserve to be manager he is not kind or sympathetic, or made any concession to make up for his mistake. I ve always dealt with Dominic and he has been fantastic to deal with. He did suggest to reschedule my vehicle or maybe call my friend and see if my friend can pick me up. Needless to say brought my car in the garage about 955 and my friend picked me up at 10:05. I returned after 330. He waited on me and never offered a courtesy discount or anything, and I told him that I was very displeased with this place how he handled my situation and I ll be sure to fill out that survey when I get it and let them know what a poor job he did for me. It didn t seem to fluster him. Not very good from an employee who has been there six years. He seems like the lazy one and lets everybody else do the work. Also my tires were not bagged and they were placed in my trunk and in my backseat. I will not be back.

I made an appointment in-person for a state inspection. The day of the appointment, I was told they're only doing drop off and will get to my car eventually or I can reschedule for another two weeks to drop off the car with the same uncertain wait time. Why bother making an appointment if you're not able to do it?

They do a great job, are personable, and have never price-gouged or prescribed unnecessary work unlike some other places nearby

Called and spoke to Dominick to have NYS inspection completed and even though they were very booked up on a Saturday, they still were able to get it done as promised which was much appreciated. Thanks Dominick.

Made a appointment online and when I got their they said their was no appointment made for me. If their online reservation does not work than they should get rid of it. Also the waiting room is absolutely disgusting.

I brought my vehicle in a couple of weeks ago and explained that I likely had a rear brake issue because there was some noise coming from the back. I appreciated the fact that they were willing to take me in quickly because the sound in the back had been pretty rough. After dropping off the vehicle, I received a phone call a few hours later after they had test drove and reviewed the vehicle. They said there were no issues. They explained to me that they had not heard any noise when they test drove it (it was raining so maybe that held back the noise, not sure). But they did say that they looked at all the brakes and found nothing wrong. I drove back to my current location in Virginia, about a 450 mile drive, and was told by the mechanic here that my brakes are metal to metal so now I m dropping $1,100 on calipers, rotors and pads.. I have a hard time believing that my brakes were in good shape just 450 miles prior. Disappointing because I had good experiences at Mr. Tire prior to leaving the area. Sadly, I would not recommend.

Came here for an oil change today - the guy who runs the place is nice and they got my oil change done in a relatively timely manner. Price wasn t anything out of the ordinary - standard for an oil change. They also checked my air filters and topped off my windshield washer fluid. Can t ask for much more in the auto industry

Friendly and professional. Willing to book my appointment for inspection within a few days. Fast service. Fair prices. No hidden repairs. Very kind service manager. I ll bring all inspections here.

I was getting ready to go to Massachusetts for my son's wedding. I had a slow leak on my rear tire. The guys got me in that morning. They saved the day . Thank you

Went for oil change They charged me over 80 dollars said included tire rotation and synthetic oil of which I received neither.Beware ! Very disappointed with the unethical business practices at this place

Very dishonest. I was told that my car inspection would take 45 minutes. My car is 1 year old. I came back to pick up my car and pay and was ignored by the manager for another ten minutes. When he does speak with me he tells me it has not even been checked yet. When I asked what the problem was he told me he had people call in today and was trying to catch up. Why didn t he tell me this when I dropped off my car? I gave him my phone number to keep my updated. It s now been an hour and he is just getting started. I understand having employees calling in and being behind. I do not appreciate dishonesty.

I have been a customer here for a few years now. P.J and Alex have always been kind and courteous to me and others present during my visit. I have routine inspections, oil changes, alignments and other various services done here. They are very professional and get the job done in a timely manner.Thank you all at Mr Tire!!! Gary Allen

I used to love this location and would bring my vehicle here for everything, tires, oil, inspection you name it. It is unfortunate for me to say my past 3 experiences here were not as well. I think they should remove the option to make an appointment online, for every time I do it I select that I'm going to be waiting at the shop while the vehicle is worked on and the past three times I've been told that it's going to take hours and I end up needing to find a ride back home and back to the shop.

The absolute BEST around!! We had an extenuating circumstance where it would be difficult to wait, and they got us in and out in no time. Next time, it will be worth the wait! Kudos to Max!!!

Previously I rated 5 stars. Normal guy (PJ) I deal with was not there. Made an appointment online for an inspection. No record of it on their end. I had text and email confirmation. Never had an issue with online reservations before!! Can't fit me on for 10 days. I drove from Auburn because I've always had good service prior. Me being a faithful customer kept with them. .So much for buying my tires there. I'm done!

Thank you so much for kindly accommodating my last minute request for NY safety inspection inspite of your busy schedule. I had couple of other services last year aswell including tire purchase and safety inspection with great experience. I am always very pleased with the staff, very polite, knowledgeable and deliver great service.

Would definitely recommend taking your car to anywhere but here. We got a flat tire while visiting family for the weekend. Called this location on Saturday morning, gave them the model of the car, let them know we would need a new tire, and we needed to get the car back the same day. They said it wouldn t be a problem, and told me to drop off the car. Brought it in at 9:30 AM, and was told I should get a call in a couple of hours. Hadn t heard from them by 1 PM, so I called to check on the status and was told they hadn t looked at it yet, but I should hear from them in a couple of hours. Still hadn t heard from them by 4 PM, so I called again and was told they hadn t looked at it yet, but I would be the next car they looked at, and they were open until 7 PM, so it wouldn t be a problem to get my car done that day. They called about 30 minutes later to let me know that they didn t have a tire that would fit my car, and they wouldn t be able to get a tire until Monday morning. When I asked why they didn t check to see if they had a tire for my car when they dropped it off, I was told it wouldn t have mattered because they still wouldn t have been able to get a tire before Monday morning. Why I tried to explain that it would have mattered to me because they I still would have had the whole day to find someplace else that had the right tire in stock, the guy on the other end of the phone didn t really seem to care. Horrible customer service. Thankfully, Mavis Discount Tire had not just one, but two brands of tire in stock that would fit my car, and they were able to get us in and out in 90 minutes on Sunday morning. I would highly recommend Mavis the next time you need tires on your car.

The staff at Mr. Tire are always professional and kind. Every time I come in with a tire emergency, they fix the problem promptly and never try to upsell you. They are my first choice if I ever have a tire issue.

I've gone here a couple times and it has always been a pleasant experience. Gave me a deal on tires when I needed them and are very fast with the service.I have routine issues with my heat shield and it needs to be fixed every 6-8 months, but I always took it someplace else. While I was getting my tires swapped here I asked them to look at it if they could.They explained in good detail what the heat shield is and the problems with it. They addressed the issue and didn't charge me any extra for it either.Great place that I highly recommend going to.

Took my car to get brakes done a week or two after Mr.Tire put my tires on. The tires were extremely over torqued, messing up the threads on one bolt, and shredding the cap off another which I witnessed myself. Yes wheel bolts caps are known to break off however even with the cap off the bolt took heat and heavy impacting to remove just one. The brakes were unable to be completed, they weren't comfortable taking the passenger tire off until I had extra bolts to replace the bad ones. Neither breaker bar nor impact could get them off. So now I have to spend extra money to buy new wheel bolts and the extra time to figure out how to even get them out.

PJ and crew at the Fairmount/ Camillus NY store is the best! He answers all my questions and never pressures me about extra service.He's honest and they do a great job every time. I never worry about being taken advantage of so I'll always continue to get work done there.

Staff were very kind and courteous. Very respectful and helpful and pleasant. Got us in and out in a timely manner. Price was very reasonable for the work we had done. I highly recommend Mr tire. Very good at what they do.

Experienced professionals that know what they are doing in regards to car repairs and maintenance. Highly recommend. Have had two vehicles serviced, tires purchased and inspected over the past few years. Always promptly done, reasonably priced

Went here for state inspection on my wife's car. Was told it wouldn't pass because a rear brake and parking brake. They gave me an 800 dollar estimate for the job, so I left. brought the car to Valvoline 2 days later and it passed just fine with zero work. I understand that garages don't make any money off inspections but what happened wasn't the way to do business.

Finished the job on time and within the estimate. Easy to speak with and get scheduled.==Update: My locally-owned garage that I've used for 10-years recently (very sadly) announced they are closing due to labor shortages related to COVID. I initially made an appointment with Mr. Tire in Camillus for an oil change because they are close to my house and I was able to get an appointment within a couple days. I've since used them for two repair jobs on my older vehicle and they have proven themselves honest, reasonably priced, no-pressure, and most-importantly: reliable. I will continue to use Mr. Tire in Camillus as my primary auto garage until they convince me I shouldn't. Thanks! Dan
