Smiling Ted's is the place my family has gone to for over 20 years ! This family owned business has the integrity and the passion to help you find the right vehicle and price for you!My grandfather and mother both have bought multiple vehicles from Ted and he's the best car salesman in town ! There are many small places in Buffalo, but it's hard to find a family like this one.I picked out the 2019 Nissan Rogue and it was hands down the best price in town. Ever other dealer had an additional $5000+ sticker price, so I knew Ted's was the only place I could trust. I will NEVER go back to those big name dealership again after being upside down on a loan---they never care about you or the car once you walk off the lot and everything in overpriced!Ted actually cares to help you get a good car while being honest about the true cost of everything. Thanks again for your awesome service my SUV will help my fight the buffalo snow

After 3 months of owning my Nissan Altima 2018 SV, I am completely satisfied with how the car drives and how well Ted took care of minor fixes! Great family owned business that will make sure you leave with a great vehicle with great value as well!6 months later... Car is amazing! I highly recommend this family owned business!A year later! Car is still amazing! Fast forward today my Nisa Pouncey had hit 100K and drives like a champ! No major car problems at all since my purchase. Just regular routine maintenance!January 2022: Still loving this car! Thanks Ted!February 25, 2023: Goodbye to my 2018 Nissan Altima SV and HELLO to my new 2021 VW Tiguan SE 4Motion!!! I bought my car back in 2019 and financed it. They made it so easy for me being a first time buyer. They were very accommodating and thorough. I highly recommend just checking hem out at the very least. To this day, I still remember how professional and helpful they were.

I was in the process of getting rid of a lemon when I stumbled across Smiling Ted's when browsing on carfax for a new car. From the get go, Ted was friendly and knowledgable, and throughout the process I never felt like I was being taken advantage and I felt that he had my best interest in mind.The business is run by just Ted and his mother, and the two of them definitely deserve praise for all their work! I would certainly recommend for anyone, even those who are less knowledgable about the car-buying process!

I messaged Smiling Ted's inquiring about a vehicle I saw online and I received a call from them within 30mins. I walked in and the price was very reasonable. The owner even threw in some floor mats and new tires. Everything was made simple and straightforward.I am one very happy customer!

Ted and his Mom who run the business are two of the nicest people I have met in a very long time . Ted was recommended by a mutual friend. My wife was in need a of a vehicle as she was in an accident and totaled her SUV. Ted had a number of very nice vehicles on the lot . They were all pristine in appearance , my wife fell in love with a Jeep Cherokee Limited. The price was more than fair , and the SUV is just wonderful. You can't go wrong by going to see SMILING TED . I would recommend Ted to anyone looking for a great buying experience

My previous vehicle in which I purchased from Ted was struck & totalled while sitting in my driveway! I came to Ted & explained the situation. Without hesitation he sat me down & carefully walked me through this delicate process as we began to work out my next vehicle. Ted MOVED MOUNTAINS for me to get my next vehicle. He brought comfort to an otherwise intense situation!! I'm truly grateful for the Smiling Ted's Family!! I felt at home with the Services provided. After searching for a two months for a new-to-us used Dodge Caravan SXT, my wife and I came across Smiling Ted's dealership in Buffalo. We're from Rochester so we had a large search and Ted's had exactly what we wanted for $3,000 less than any other offer we found. We took the chance and went to Buffalo, bought the car on sight and drove it home. Ted and his mom, Karen, couldn't have been more helpful throughout the whole process. We are so happy we found this dealership and our perfect car. We could not recommend any dealership higher than Ted's. Jim and Karen Coffey.

This dealership was top notch! Ted went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the car I was most comfortable with. He gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on a car the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. I felt like family by the end of the whole process! I would recommend smiling Ted's quality used cars to anyone who is looking for a used vehicle. My camry is running so smooth (thanks Ted).

Went in on a Thursday to check out and test drive a 17 Jeep Patriot. It was in great condition. He had it all ready for me when I got there and let me know what has been done to the vehicle since he s taken ownership. I ended up making a great deal and drove off with it on Saturday! Amazing respectful dealer! I would definitely recommend smiling Ted s! No pressure and no upselling like other dealerships. No hidden fees and my vehicle still had manufacture warranty left on it! Stop by and trust this dealer, you won t regret your purchase because I know I am 100% satisfied with Smiling Ted s! Thank you!

I just recently got my second car through Ted- I honestly would never go anywhere else! He is absolutely fantastic and the most honest guy you'd ever meet. If you have a certain car in mind- he will find it and get it to his lot for you. He does not sugar coat anything and will let you know if a car you're looking at wouldn't actually be a good fit for you and the reasoning of why. He doesn't push you to buy what so ever and will take all the time you need to make that decision. My entire family goes to him. I HIGHLY recommend smiling Ted's!! You'll never see me at another car dealer shop. He has really helped and took care of me through the years and I guarantee he will do the same for you. So don't look any further and call him! :)

I just bought a car from Smiling Ted's after getting burned by a large dealership. Ted got me the same vehicle except it was a year newer with almost 30,000 fewer miles for the same price that the dealership was going to charge.He also got us a better interest rate on the loan by over a percentage point. The whole buying process was painless. Honestly that is the best experience I've ever had at a car dealer and I saved tons of money. Ted has a new customer for life.

I traveled a 6 hour round trip to trade in my car for a 2016 Dodge Charger and it was completely worth it. I love my new car and they made the process easy and stress free. They're extremely friendly and easy to work with. They genuinely care about you and what you want. I highly recommend Smiling Ted's for any one looking for a vehicle.

I just purchased a low mileage 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Smiling Ted's (7/26/16). I had a hard time finding a vehicle with low miles but Ted specifically buys these profile cars! I usually hate shopping for cars, as I have been through the typical haggling, up-selling, competition bashing, dishonesty "what will it take to get you in this car today" irritations, etc. so often experienced in this effort. This time it was so completely different! Ted made the process a pleasure! There was no pressure, he was honest, made sure all details were covered, gave us an excellent price, and had the vehicle beautifully reconditioned. You can tell Ted loves what he does. I will be back to buy more vehicles from Smiling Teds. Oh, and the unbelievable great financing rate he got me didn't hurt either! Keep up the great work Ted!Update: Went back to Smiling Ted's again! Traded the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee mentioned above, for a low mileage 2018 Jeep Wranger Unlimited JK Sahara! Again, same great experience, great price... and during Covid procedures no less! Despite Covid, still a great and simple experience. Five stars still!

If you are looking for a vehicle, please take the time to stop at Smiling Teds. Ted will explain everything so you understand. There is no pressure and he fully understands that people need time to decide and to coordinate schedules.All the vehicles on the lot are fairly priced, and in emaculent condition.When we purchased, Ted took care of switching registration, insurance , and printing and explaining forms in about 90 minutes. And just like that we drove off in our new Jeep.

Just bought my 2017 Jeep Renegade from Ted and honestly, you can't get better quality anywhere else in western NY. My Jeep was in excellent condition and Ted did a terrific job explaining all its features. He is an honest man who lists excellent prices on all his vehicles. If you are looking for a used vehicle, this is the place to stop! You will not be let down.

My first experience with this car dealer, was the best one I've ever had. Ted's upfront, honest, no nonsense approach, put me feeling comfortable with my transaction. Ted and his (?)staff, handled all the 'paper stuff' and made the final receipt of my new vehicle as smooth and hassle free as I could have wanted. I would recommend trying Ted's to everyone.

I researched a lot when I bought my first car from Smiling Ted's back in 2009. It was a two year old Grand Caravan with 20k miles on it. We still have it and have put another 100k miles on it since then and have driven it all the way to Florida and North Carolina. We've never had any issues with it besides a recall on the A/C system by the manufacturer. Then this year, my wife found a car she loved at Transit Town Hyundai and within a couple months it needed new brakes all the way around ($700) and areas of the paint that had been touched up started to wear off. These are the only two dealerships I've ever bought from but so far Ted's vehicles are reliable, and priced well, I couldn't ask for more. In fact, my mother recently bought a Malibu and just today a Focus from them.

Love our new van! At least 2k less than anyone in town. Smiling Ted's has the best deals and best service. Made the purchase process extremely easy. Will definitely be going back when we need another vehicle.

My family has purchased multiple vehicles through Ted. He has always been a stand up guy that stands behind the cars he puts you in. This was my first experience purchasing a car from any dealership. I shopped around a little before seeing a car I wanted at smilin teds. There was no pressure. He did not try to get me into another car at a higher value. I told him my price range and payment I could afford. He listened and found me just that. He was very professional with that added charm you get from a smaller family owned business. I felt like a priority. I was treated not only woth respect but also like a friend. He worked with me and was able to get me a payment i could afford with an interest rate that would still allow me to sleep at night. I have been extremely happy with not only the vehicle I have purchased but also the extremely impressive customer service. I wish i could give more than 5 stars because he would have definitely earned them. Thank you Ted!

Currently finishing up paperwork here at Smiling Ted's. The 2016 Jeep Patriot only had 6k miles, heated seats and remote start! I couldn't find anything at this price with so few miles and with these options. I drove 90 miles to snatch this. Well worth it as it's around $4k under retail. I'll be smiling home in a few minutes .

If I could give more stars I would!! I would go back to him in a second! This man is not your typical "salesman" he genuinely cares about his clientele and does anything and everything to help them.
