Sammy s is a family owned and operated shop and that family-feeling spreads throughout their business. They ll look over your car with your best interest at heart. I will never go anywhere else for service on my car

Nice people, horrible service. Screwed me out of a grand and gave the mechanic special of throwing parts at a car at YOUR cost. They know what they are doing and will try to play you for your money. Tried to charge me multiple times to diagnose the same problem. Lady was nice at first and gradually became more abrasive after getting your money. Ridiculous would not recommend this shop.

My Hyundai was vandalized because someone tried stealing it. Sammy's towed it to their garage. A day or so later they called to tell me I need brake work and I had a knocking in my motor none of which had anything to do with the vandalism. When I told them I recently put pads and rotors and that my car had regular maintenance and nothing was wrong with it before the vandalism they got angry because they got caught lying. My advice is to stay away from these unscrupulous people.

Do not send your Vehicle here. My girlfriend and I sent our car here for them to store in there car lot. There tow truck driver left the doors unlocked to the car over the weekend after dropping it off and some less fortunite individual went in and peeed inside the car and was smoking cigarettes in the car along with signs of them sleeping in there. So if you value your vehicle I would not send it to them, as they showed us they do not care for your vehicle while under there care.

Max was a pleasure to deal with. Great little but big mom and pop auto shop that really takes care of customers! Convienent location, great staff, and expert auto repairmen. Don't be afraid to stop in here for estimates and trust everything will be done and will be done right! Had to add more.....they washed my car and barely charged me anything for something triple A was going to charge 475 they charged 34$..... wow

Bella (the owner) and Marilou (manager) are fantastic to work with. Bella has incredible customer service acumen, and Marilou really knows her car stuff! And when they're not sure, they're very good at out of the box thinking, research, and communication with the mechanics. Their pricing is very reasonable, and they not only do auto repair and collision (they have 4 massive garages) -- but they also have their own Hertz car rental if you need to rent a vehicle for a day or two while the car is being repaired. I highly recommend.

I've been going to Sammy's Auto Repair for years! Ever since my 1st major accident, I always go to Sammy's. Mary Lou always goes above and beyond for her customers, even by contacting warranty companies on your behalf, whatever you need, Sammy's got you!

Charming. Fast. Affordable. Had a slow leak in my tire, fixed and back on the road in less than 30 min. This place is why I love Buffalo; mom and pop vibe, small business and everyone in their employ has bought in and cares. Wonderful experience.

My daughter lives in Buffalo and I do not. She experienced a problem with her car and asked me for help. Her car was inoperable on a buffalo street and needed to be towed to Sammy's and fixed. Sammy's was awesome to work with, recommended a towing service and repaired the car quickly and at a very reasonable price. They provided excellent communication throughout the process and met the needs of me being remote. I highly recommend them and they will become my daughter's go to place for future automotive needs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

I exclusively take my Silverado to Sammy's. They've done my inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, etc. and this past year I got a new battery. Going to get some scratches and a dent taken care of soon. The prices are honest, the staff is kind, and they get the work done. Took my car one day the next day was right in! Loved how fast he fixed all my car issues and staff was so nice and polite. I will be coming back if I have car issues in the future.

What a great place with great people!!! I dropped off my RX350 after one year of driving around with duck tape holding a piece of siding in place and a bunch of scuff marks on the front bumper. Two hours later I came back and the vehicle looked brand new AND it was washed. What a great place with great people! My Volkswagen had a few problems that sort of all came to a head at once. Was looking for places and Sammy's was just a few blocks over from my house. They were able to take it in within a couple days, ordered a part, and got it back the next day. Lots of issues fixed, and it seems to be running excellent! Max was especially helpful and answered all of my questions. I took my 2019 Tahoe in for front end damage repair . This shop coordinated everything with my insurance company, including a Hertz rental vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle, the collision repair was undetectable. The paint work by their paint sprayer was blended so well that it was impossible to notice that there had been any repairs done. Highly recommend Sammy's for collision repair. My vehicle was ready when promised and very pleased with their work!Service: Painting

I came here because of the good reviews on google and it did not disappoint! Everyone was very pleasant and they were able to get my part and fix my mirror same day! Max did a great job and was very pleasant to deal with. Ended up being much less expensive than initially quoted and repair took less time than expected. Definitely recommend and would definitely come back here (although hopefully I don t need to )Service: Auto glass repair

I would absolutely recommend Sammy's to anybody I meet. They do amazing, quality work at very reasonable prices. They definitely know what they are doing and you can tell them over the phone what your car is doing and they already have a very good idea of what is going on. They go above and beyond to take care of you and I would go back time and time again. 120% satisfied

Outstanding service and professionalism. I have been taking my leases there since 2015 (rear-ended once, and had another collision that wrecked my rear passenger door and quarter panel) and I recently purchased a 1990 Jeep Wrangler that they also brought back to life for me! I tell all my friends and family, there's no other place in Buffalo like it! Sam has a friendly staff up front and some very experienced technicians in the back. They also have a Hertz station setup for easy rentals when necessary. Next time you're in a pinch with your vehicle, check them out!

I came to Sammy's because Ford Performance required a part, a cold air intake to be installed either at a Ford dealer or at an ASE certified shop. Ford quoted me almost $300 of labor, whearas this shop charged me under $50 for their professional installation. The front lobby is beautiful and the staff are all friendly, they even gave my car a quick wash!

Everytime I've brought a vehicle in, they've had fair and consistent pricing. Excellent mechanical work and collision work to match. If I could rate this business higher than 5 stars I would. 10/10 would recommend this as your go to mechanic and collision professionals.

Sammy's is a fantastic repair shop in the city and I've been going there ever since I moved to the city in 2006. They've done work for me both small and large, for all my cars, from the odd sound, to once a complete rebuild after an accident. My cars run well, and it's all down to them. Thanks!

I just picked up my BMW Z4 from Sammy's. They did such a beautiful job, 5 stars is not enough, I wish I could give more! My car was involved in a hit and run and had some collision damage, but the paint on the remaining portion of the car was not perfect, so I decided to have the entire vehicle painted, which ended being much more work than met the eye. Sam and his team worked hard to remove the pings, road dust, additional damage, etc. They also did additional work to make sure the car was absolutely perfect. I also believe he did the job for a great price and I know it was not easy. Oh, and the car was perfectly detailed when I picked it up. Thanks Sam, Max, Mary Lou and team for your service. I will always recommend you! (photo to come)

After getting into a car accident, I chose to take my car to Sammy's for repair. I am SO IMPRESSED at their courtesy, speed, and wonderful service! I asked for an estimate to repair minor damage to my car that was un-related to the accident and Sammy's fixed it ON THE HOUSE! Definitely a repair shop that cares about their customers and isn't in the business of ripping people off. Everyone at the front desk was very kind and friendly as well. I highly recommend Sammy's for all of your auto repair needs!

People Beware!! My elderly mom was completely taken advantage of at this shop. They desperately picked her vehicle up at the end of March 2020 and kept for 3 months with no communication with my mom. Finally on June 12th they called for my mom to pick her vehicle up charging her a woppin $1500 for unauthorized repairs. To make a very long story short my mom complained to the nysdmv and they discounted the bill. My mom left Sammys with an engine light on and white smoke. Sammy said the engine was shot why would they put a band aid on an engine that was shot. They also misplaced my moms wheel caps. Terrible Terrible Business!! Rating this shop a 1 star is being generous!!

(This was meant for the Niagara Street location. My mistake)They've got a new regular and recommendations to others.1. No nonsense: Came in recently for an oil change, brake light repair, and inspection. I tend to be wary whenever getting basic services for my car, because as many auto shops will aggressively up-sell or refuse to approve inspection without thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary repairs first. Other women will be even more familiar with this. They were straightforward and prices were more than reasonable.2. Professional: The two women at the front desk were polite and personable. I was in and out after about an hour, which was what they estimated.3. Added bonus: The waiting area is welcoming, clean, and has incredibly fast wi-fi if you decide to wait for your vehicle.

This place is a nightmare had my moms Buick Enclave since late march and couldnt figure it out did a timing chain came to pick it up in June was smokin like a chimney. Make a long long story short did unauthorized repairs and charged my mom and ripped off the warranty company. Just getting vehicle towed to another shop in September to fix the issues

I mentioned my cars exhaust system needed checked and also a oil change. They called and said it needed a pipe (not saying it was the catalytic converter). They called later and said a sensor was broken when the mechanic attempted to remove the pipe/ his fingers were too large and it needed replaced. When I picked up the car the cost was over 200.00 what I was quoted. I read the receipt and it read catyalic converter and sensor. Had they told me it was a convertor I needed from the beginning that would have given me the option of shopping for a price. I asked why they charged me for the sensor since they broke it and he shrugged his shoulder. I paid my bill and called bbb and it's in writing they were not truthful in their business dealings.

The work to my vehicle was done way before expected completed time. The staff was very nice and helpful with all of my questions and kept me up to date.
