I was unfortunately in a reasonably bad car accident this morning, my vehicle was in no condition to drive. A young man named Kyle from Rusiniak s showed up very quickly once the state trooper requested a tow. Kyle was fast to get not just mine but the other car involved loaded up safely and securely. He was even willing to transport my poor Toyota to my preferred shop instead of dealing with storage fees at the lot they would typically store vehicles at after an accident. Kyle s energy was calming and he clearly loves what he does, even going so far as to tell me he would continue doing this work if he were to win the lottery. If I could give more than five stars I sure would! Kyle Sullivan, if you see this, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Im not one to write bad reviews, and i waited a week before posting this to give myself some perspective, and to cool down. I had a very frustrating experience here. Last year, I came here for an oil change, everything seemed to go smoothly, they have higher prices, but its by my old work. Anyways, fast forward to last week, we went somewhere else to get the oil changed this time, and the mechanic came out and stated that he could not change our oil as they couldnt get the skid plate off, they said it was "very warped, it looked like the last person forced the plate back on after they changed the oil. They just did what they had to do to get the job done". I did not pay that mechanic anything, i dont know why they would lie to me. Now, i was on my way out of the state for an 8 hour drive, it was extremely frustrating to not be able to get my oil changed. I called Rusiniaks to see what could be done, they said to bring my car in on tusday, okay will do. On Tuesday, we got a call, and now the issue was that the plate was corroded and we have to pay to get it replaced. Obviously, i didnt look so i have no idea if thats the truth or not. All i know, is the place i went to before didnt have a reason to lie to me, and these guys do, if they messed it up. I'm not going to go back, i would suggest finding someplace else. Especially if youre a woman, just gives bad vibes.

While traveling thru Buffalo we broke down. CAA/AAA connected us with this tow and shop and the experience was fantastic. They had us in, diagnosed and on our way in no time. While waiting we met three regular customers who spoke very highly of this shop. I think they deserve the five stars and then some. Most Thankful for their care that day. Third generation of caring people servicing their communities and it shows. Love this shop. I am from Canada but if needed, I would not hesitate to revisit. Oh....made me a fresh pot of coffee and it was great shop coffee....Oxo

I d driven up to the area all the way from Philly for the weekend we were on the way to our room when the engine gave a huge shudder. Rusiniak s was the only place open and I needed to get back home by Monday for work. They not only fixed my car the next day, they did it in a few hours and for a good price. Courteous, professional, prompt. Thanks to the staff there for getting me back on the road!!!

If you have an accident on the thruway and the police ask who you want to tow your vehicle, DO NOT choose this company. They lie up front and then cheat you on the back when it's time to pay their storage bill. I worked for an insurance company for 17 years. When my son was in an accident on the thruway, I specifically told him to ask the tow truck driver how long they would hold it storage free before incurring daily fees. The driver said they would hold it for about a week before we had to pay. Due to insurance company delays in reporting and adjusting the claim, the car sat for several weeks. I was told that I would be responsible for the first 14 days. Well, I just spoke with them and guess what? They are charging from the night of the tow for the full 14 days---$685.00. When I told them their driver said they would hold with no charge for a week, they refused to honor that statement and are charging the full amount. So, they lied to get it in the yard to pay daily storage fees in addition to $110/tow; $11/fuel surcharge; $56/(7 mile tow); and a $55/admin. fee. I can't imagine what it would be like to use any of their other services. All I can say is get an accurate written estimate and hold them to it. If they promise you anything, don't believe them. Their word means nothing. Otherwise, it's going to be a cash grab. They will tell you one thing to get into your wallet pocket and then do something else when it's time to settle up. Verify----don't trust!!!

Stopped here today for someone to check my headlight as I thought it was burnt and needed a new lightbulb. I asked the young guy at the front desk and he asked this mechanic iwho was making hot chocolate if he could do it and he replied who me? I explained i was going to get on a highway 6 hrs away from home so that would be so helpful, and the mechanic curly longer hair man kept making moaning sounds like you were pulling his teeth and ribs until i said you dont have to do that. Went down the street at K&M mechanical, not only were they willing to come out, and help me but we also found out it was a connection issue it was fixed within seconds with no need of a new bulb, oh and free of charge!Wont recommend this place, very unprofessional and not willing to help and keep women safe!

Very Very Good customer service . I took my car someplace else first , and they did not fix my problem . I then took it to Rusiniak s and they diagnosed the problem within , like a hour and a half. They kept me updated with everything. I am grateful.Thank you and you have a new customer for my auto needs .

Brought a newer propane tank in for a refill. The guy sent me inside to pay for it while he was getting started. When I came out of the shop, the guy was gone and an old propane tank was left by my car. The tank I brought was nowhere to be seen. If you advertise propane refills and a customer asks for a refill, why would you exchange tanks without telling them? Not the end of the world, but seems a bit shady.

Impeccable customer service, I'd highly recommend for any issues. As a woman I have dealt with some ridiculous mechanics and get nervous bringing my car to new places. I brought here once before but last visit was for engine issues and totally got sound advice, legit estimate and not one person talked down to me even though I likely seemed frazzled and all over the place about how to proceed. It was clear that everyone I dealt with had pride in their work and were experts at their jobs. This shop really stood out to me for the customer service that was provided by the mechanics but I also witnessed the workers go above and beyond helping others while I was there. It was clear to me this company and team is close-knit with each other and their manners of helping people just showed off the company even more. Seeing that they excelled at teamwork made me think how rare that is to find in today's world of post covid workforce. If you're ever visiting this shop for service I highly recommend you eavesdrop and take notes on how this team is completely dominating. Guaranteed you will leave with some ideas about great teamwork in addition to your car work that you needed anyhow

Got stuck on the shoulder of a restricted section of highway when my car broke down. My roadside assistance service was completely useless and left us there for an hour and a half. Then I called Rusiniak s and twenty minutes later we were safely being towed away. Our driver Dave was so amazing and sweet to my daughter and I while he drove us to the shop. Once there everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Unfortunately the car was in bad shape so we were stuck there for a few hours.... but they made sure we were comfortable in the waiting area with frequent updates. I would definitely recommend them!!! Wonderful and prompt service. Truly caring people. They made a bad situation a little better for us and I am so grateful!!

My dad swayed me to Rusiniaks for all my automotive needs many years ago. I have never regretted it. Bennie and Chris are always informative and honest to my car repairs. The techs are professional and do quality work.

I work down the street and my co workers recommended this place. I am very disappointed. I called and asked if I could bring in my car sometime today to have someone look at my tire as the light has been on and even filling it with air does not shut it off. I explained that my tire looks low and looks like it has a slow leak, my car shakes over a certain speed. The man on the phone was very condescending and rude. Asked me a million questions about if its really losing air or if I am wasting their time.... Asking me auto questions that I honestly don't know which is why I was calling.... I'm not an auto professional. He then told me I couldn't get an appointment until the 24th. I will not be giving them my business.

Always loved this car wash, but recently had to many issues with hard water marks from lack of soft water. Maybe get a new water softener system or check it once or twice a day to make sure it s working?

My car broke down on the Thruway with my pregnant wife, toddler and dog on a 90 degree day. They brought us to their shop and gave us cold beverages while we waited. When they determined that the problem was likely under warranty, they took their own time to call multiple dealerships to confirm and arrange for a transfer. So, instead of a $3000 repair, they settled for a $150 diagnosis and handled the situation with honesty. When you break down in another state, you don't have the luxury of shopping around - it was pure luck that we broke down near an honest, helpful mechanic, and we won't forget that.

Went their a while ago for a brake job. I can always trust the mechanics here to do a good quality job, and they did. However I found my car literally parked in the sopping wet grass all the way at the end of the lot, and there were plenty of parking spaces around. It felt like they were trying to tell me something. Just felt disrespectful so unfortunately I wont be going back there. From time to time I bring in my own parts, I understand not everyone will pick the correct part and that can cause frustration for mechanics, but Im very careful when I look for parts and always compare them to OEM parts, but still get side eyed when I do. Good quality work, mechanics know what they're doing for certain, however I do feel they re a bit overpriced compared to other places.

The people who work here are amazing, kind-hearted people. Our car broke down on the side of the highway Thanksgiving weekend (over two years ago now), at about 4 am when we were trying to get from Toronto to new Hampshire. We had to wait for a bit until they opened, but as soon as they did, they immediately acted. Within half an hour they were able to tell us what was wrong with our car, what had caused the initial problems, the steps we could take in terms of repair and rentals; they also contacted our family to let them know the situation, and towed us all the way back to Toronto.

These guys were a huge help when my truck broke down 700 miles from home. They came out right away and towed my truck to their shop for repairs. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area. A great shop with equipment for any of your towing needs operated by friendly staff and a great crew. Thanks Rusiniak's for all your help!

Rusiniak's saved me today! I broke down on I-90 at 6 am on Mothers' Day (Sunday). They towed me & had my truck back on the road before noon! Everyone was helpful, honest and competent. The price was extremely fair. I feel comfortable recommending this shop to anyone!

Someone wrote best propane prices in town. That s a lie. Just got a new camper and brought in a new 30 gal tank. After the so called fill up and $5.00 purge charge I weighed the tank. I got 21.2 lbs of propane in a 30 gal tank. Why did he not reset the gal meter? I told him to give me a good fill because I was going to the Adirondacks and it s still cold. They are not at all honest. Next time I goto tractor supply where they don t charge for the purge and you pay by gal and not a set rate.

I've been bringing my cars to Bernie for almost 20 years. They are always fair and honest . . . they will tell you up front about what it will cost and if any further problems may exist before they start so you can change your mind . . . very few people leave because they understand that honesty is always best. Because his people are so good it is done right the first time. I am always happy to tell other people where I take my cars. What more can I say beside I trust them completely.

On 3/2/2019 I took my 2004 Crown Victoria to Rusniaks for a simple Diagnosis as the ONLY issue I washaving was with my power steering. I already knew that the rack and pinion would possibly requirereplacement what I did not know was whether or not the existing Rack was serviceable allowing meto simply replace the seals and save a little money. At some point over the weekend the car was diagnosed and I suddenly had the following issues:Rack and Pinion required replacement Possible replacement of the Power steering lines (however 2 days prior when I looked at those lines they did not need to be replaced). Possible replacement of both lower ball joints (again, no symptoms of this issue prior to diving ontotheir parking lot). Possible issue with both Tie rod ends. And last by not least a major oil leak At best I need to fill refill my oil about t quart every 3 -4weeks as there is a very MINOR oil leak which requires a seal replacement in the Pan probably lessthan a $20.00 job.We were told that to complete the entire above list of problems the total would be $1872.00 needlessto say we declined and opted to pick the car up. The earliest that I was able to get there was yesterday -this means from 3/2/19-3/5/19 the car (in theory) should have simply sat in their parking lot never tobe touched again. However upon getting in the car to bring it home I now suddenly have the followingissues:Someone decided to leave my radio ON causing my battery to be completely dead (My radio is hardwired so that the ignition is not required to be on and the Key is not required to be in the accessoryposition) this means my radio draws a CONSTANT positive even when the car is not running this ofcourse drained my battery.Because it had snowed out over the course of the 2 days it remained untouched I went to clear thesnow from my windshield and low and behold my windshield wipers no longer work (at all - Again nota single issue with them prior to bring the car to Rusniaks). And last but not least low and behold I now have a horrible noise coming from my the front end of mycar (I m guessing the ball joints that they so desperately wanted to replace that yet again had nosymptoms prior to being in their shop).I think it is despicable that this kind of thing goes on and is tolerated. Had they given me a fair andhonest estimate for the only issue at hand I would have gladly given them my business. But to try andtell the consumer that suddenly there car (and we all know our cars) requires this and that and this andthat to equal almost $2.000.00 simply to line their pockets is unacceptable. As a result of this experience I will be contacting the BBB as well as filing a formal complain with theattorney General s office. And at the very least, I hope that this raises awareness and huge red flags toanyone reading this review to stop Turn around and take your car SOMEWHERE ANYWHERE else!!!

I came here for the touchless car wash. You get a discount on a wash if you buy gas firstTheir prices are competitive for both, the wash itself was great. It did a solid job of cleaning my car, including the undercarriage and air drying it after. I expect to be back here again on days I don't want to wash a car myself.

I will never visit another automobile service establishment. Rusiniak's is 100% customer driven. Each and every employee takes the time to listen to the customer's individual needs and does all he or she can to accommodate them as much as possible. An employee left the business twice towards the end of the day when part suppliers were nearing closing time to personally pick up the parts that were needed so that my repair could be completed that day. I have never felt nearly as taken care of as I do at Rusiniak's.

Convenient car wash. Convenient gas station. Not amazing vehicle service. I had an appt to have my vehicle looked at for sounds in the front. One of the guys came out to drive it with me and I tried explaining the issue. They looked at it for about 30 minutes and told me nothing is wrong with it and charged me 30$. Something is clearly wrong with it if it's making popping noises when turning at slow speeds. I could have taken it somewhere else and gotten more use out of that 30$. " Take it back when it gets worse". Needless to say I was disappointed as it wasted my time a little.-Response back to owner: I would think that all estimates would be free. Either way, I'm not going to be that guy and call for a refund. I ended up going to the dealership where they covered it for free and instantly located the issue. It was covered under my powertrain warranty apparently. I will continue to get my gas there and car washes however if these "lift charges" are in place just for estimates... I don't know if I will be taking it in for service.

We have been using Rusiniak's for repairs for over 10 years. They are always honest and fair when it comes to parts/repairs needed. They will try and find the best prices for parts and , in my experience, will only repair what is needed. The service is done in a very timely manner - we never had to wait more than a day for repairs, even after coming in without an appointment. I happily recommend them to relatives and friends.

We broke down on I 90 in our truck with a 5th wheel camper attached. The tow truck driver stopped to see if we needed help. He was able to put our truck on his flat bed and someone else from the shop came out and hooked up our 5th wheel and all was taken to their shop. They were nice enough to let us stay in our camper over night and even provided power. They gout our truck looked at 1st thing in the morning and fixed the same day.Great place with fast service and friendly helpful staff. I would recommend them to anyone.

Never have I ever felt so scammed in my life. Took my car in for an inspection with working headlights and left with a headlight out and also the license plate light. The staff were very friendly and I was feeling really good about my choice to stop there since where I would normally go couldnt get me in until Saturday. Boy was I wrong.I thought the man who was coming out to talk to me was about to tell me everything was good to go, but instead I was told that there were "a few things to fix before they could pass it" which were the headlight and license light, and that it was going to cost $130 for them to fix it. Now I knew I would be taking it in for an inspection, so naturally I checked everything before I took it in which included checking the lights. Now I did have an light in the back under a tail light out but its more of a cosmetic light, not something that should keep my car from passing. But my Headlights and license light were working just fine.So I took the fail and went on my merry way down to Auto zone and replaced them both for 21.00 myself with the help from a youtube video and only took me 4 minutes to change. Something that was supposed to only be 21.00 and they were going to try and charge me 150.00, they can try and get someone else with that trick. At least I now have an appointment with another company to get my inspection done without feeling like I'm being scammed. I have sent my complaint to the BBB, and will make sure to tell people that they should probably avoid that place. I definitely will not be returning in the future.

We had a flat tire on the NYS Thruway It had been raining and my son, dog and I were on our way on vacation a few states away, so with the trunk full of items and wet, muddy Spring weather, I didn't feel like attempting to change the flat myself. A Rusniak truck arrived within 30 minutes (as promised) and had my trunk unpacked, the tire changed, tire and trunk repacked, the driver called around to find a used tire for me (since I was traveling further than the donut tire could safely go), he reserved the tire, gave me directions and all was wrapped up in less than 30 minutes! Jay was the truck operator and he was extremely polite, courteous and helpful! I couldn't have asked for a better experience as a female traveler, other than the event not occur at all! When I arrived at the garage, they took my car in quickly, allowed my dog to wait in the waiting room and we were off on vacation shortly! I, and my family, were well taken care of and I appreciate your fair, courteous service!

Supporting a local business that you trust is like family. Rusiniak's does not push you into doing something that does not need to be done. All of their work is quality at a good price. They treat you like a valuable customer. I encourage you to build a relationship with them because they can be trusted to tell you the honest truth.

My family has been going to Rusiniaks for many years. The owners and their service personnel are friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. We purchase gas, buy tires, had all kinds of service performed over the yesrs, and use the car wash. They communicate with their customers during the service period--no surprises. I highly recommend Rusiniaks Service.
