This establishment has a very hard time keeping appointments for inspections.Twice in a row I had an appointment for an inspection. Sunday when confirming my scheduled inspection via phone, I was informed they had no one available to perform said inspection. I re-made the appointment for 8am on a weekday, when arriving the gentleman at the counter muttered "the inspection guy comes in at 9".In the future, please only accept appoints that you can do at the scheduled time.

I went in for a NYS inspection. The service manager acted almost indifferent towards me. While taking my information he mumbled his words at me then became irritated when I asked for clarification. While I waited in the waiting area I watched the two employees goofing off in the shop, and one openly leaned/sat on the hood of my car. As far as I could tell, there were no other customers and my inspection took over an hour. Overall, they got the job done, but I probably won t be going back.

When I arrived to drop off my car (on a Friday morning), my appointment was set for 8a.m. I arrived around 7:45 just to be a bit early. No one showed up until 8:20, after I had been on the phone with support to try and figure out what was going on. The worker told me he didn t have keys to get into the shop, but someone came by and dropped them off. When I went inside, he was having trouble with the computer, so I simply wrote down my name, phone number, and which car was mine and left to be able to make it to work on time.He called me with a quote and diagnosis of what was wrong with my car and explained it to me, which I appreciated. He said that it will be ready by Wednesday at the latest and would be $2000 and change, including labor costs.Fast forward a bit and it is Wednesday. I don t hear anything from anyone until I call the place multiple times. Only then does someone tell me that the mechanic took the day off and my car would be ready by tomorrow (Thursday).On Thursday, I get no call or communication. In fact, I call the place multiple times and finally reach someone, but he puts me on hold and disconnects the call. Honestly, at that point I was incredibly frustrated and anxious as Uber is expensive and scary and I was paying $2000 to fix my car, I should be having some form of communication about when it is done. Even if it was done days later, just let me know so that I can plan, you know?On Friday, I call AGAIN as soon as they open. I reach the guy and he tell me that it will be ready by Saturday afternoon. Luckily for me, it was ready Friday. When he called me and told me it was ready he quoted me at higher than the $2000 and change that he did in the past. I asked if there was a reason that the price increased from last time, especially as I had originally confirmed that labor was included. He said he would give me a 10% discount and we were back to the original price.Words cannot express how unhappy I am with this service. I thought at LEAST since I had been through such a rough time that I would be compensated accordingly, but the opposite happened! I will never come back to Monro and honestly, no one should go to this location. The only positive is that the customer service woman was very kind and frustrated at the situation as well. I deserve a refund of some sort to say the least.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I bring both of my cars here and I m always impressed with the work they do. I highly recommend this location to everyone.

These guys really took care of me, gave me expert advice and were unbelievably fast with the work I needed done. Chuck, Ken, and Dustin really knew there stuff and were also pleasant to work with. The area has tons of stuff to check out while you re waiting for your car to be finished, which won t be long with these guys on the job!

Chris serviced my car. He explained everything in detail, which for someone who doesn t know cars was greatly appreciated! Chris & crew were amazing from start to finish! Updated me regularly. I really appreciated his genuine kindness & speedy work. I will be back!!

Scheduled an appointment for a NYS inspection via online and appointment was confirmed by an email. When I arrived to the shop they said their equipment was broken which wasted a part of my day.

Gave them a second chance. Didn't tightened oil filtered, oil leaked in our driveway and then had to move to street. NEVER AGAIN!!! Worst workers!!!!

The two young men working this evening Friday 1/27/23 should get a raise! As a woman sometimes it s very hard to get honest car service and these two young men really delivered. My dealer told me they didn t hear what I was always complaining about well these two men didn t give up till they tracked it down. Come to find out my dealer lied about the part they put in my car. They were so honest and completely listened to me and were so helpful! Despite having a dealer warranty I 100% feel safer bringing my car back to this location in the future. Thank you so much!!

We brought my daughter's car in for various repairs and the Manager and one man staff was very helpful. The job was done in a timely manner, but I wish they would have shown us what the car needed before AND after repairs were done so we could see for ourselves the work they actually performed. Everything went well and it was ready when promised. They really DO need a receptionist to handle phone calls and customers as they enter. It would greatly improve the professionalism of the business.

My husband and I have gone to this location several times for various services. They are always accommodating and get you in as quickly as possible, honest, and fair. I had a nail in my tire and Ken, the manager got me in right away and fixed my tire super fast! My husband had an issue with his vehicle and Ken explained everything so well and was very informative about our options. Not pressure for unnecessary service!

We had our brakes and calipers replaced $1000. Went to get the car inspected and the mechanic told us the car doesn't pass inspection because the rear rotors need to be replaced. Monro never replaced the rotors they charged me for. The FACTORY rotors are still on the car! Called them up, they tried to give us the run around why new rotors would rust in 3 months! They're the factory rotors!! Besides that if they were new, which they weren't because they were never replaced, they are supposed to have a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. They won't even look at our car for another couple days. So you being scammed and catching them isn't even enough to get them to correct their mistake. Completely untrustworthy company. Do NOT have your car worked on here ever.UPDATE: The Monro district manager Randy was extremely helpful in ensuring we were taken care of. New rotors were installed on the car. Randy's customer service were platinum. He ensured we were taken care of every step of the way.

Man, it's tough giving it a 2 star rating. When there's employees JOSH & Alex there that are AMAZING. Hence the 2 Stars. The Manager Alvin, Has an attitude Problem, Also, when you call he leaves you on hold, Alvin Doesn't Notify the person you called For that you're on hold, over 15min B4 Eye hung up.But YET This Hero does his laundry-on-the_clock , @His Busted Azz Whip W/ a TRASH BAG 4 a WINDOW...I honestly think Monro should re-evaluate Alvin. He has no Qualities as a manager, Does a manager let his bull dog Puppie Run Freely around the shop floor....Plus No Uniform, he wears Socks, shorts & a day- go tea... That's Professional.I don't know what Alvins' problem is with me? But you can just sense. He can't stand me.He tried to ask me to leave when I was talking to the technician about the work I was having done,l.so I don't normally leave reviews like this.I feel a HONEST REVIEW is what's needed here, Maybe I can save you the harassment.- I'll be back up there 1 day soon.Hopefully there will be New Management.-Your Best Employee is Josh. Talk to the guy for 10min, you will understand why!His Automotive credentials are Impressive. I've watched , He does great work.

New to the area and trying to find a car mechanic that doesn't make me feel like I'm getting scammed, especially as a woman, is always a bit of a challenge. Had a really great experience at the Delaware location. They were able to get me in the day of for an oil change, brake check, and also did a courtesy inspection and took the time to explain everything. Really friendly, thorough, and fast service. Would definitely recommend them!

It was so easy to make an appointment, especially at the last minute. All the employees were so courteous and helpful. When I walked in, it was clear the customer before me was having a rough day of car troubles. The associate was able to help her and she was so thankful, saying she was only coming to this shop from now on. Then, as I was waiting for my NYS inspection, a mother with a small child came in with a flat tire. The associate was ready to help right away. A few other customers came in while I waited, and even though it was busy, the manager and employees were very patient and attentive; they never seemed overwhelmed or bothered by the rush. It only took about a half hour for the inspection (from giving them my keys to getting them back), which was great. This was easily one of the best experiences I've had with car repairs/maintenance.

Called the morning of and they were able to take me in at 10:30. My car inspection was done within 30 minutes. They didn t try to convince me of any other fixes/parts/etc. which I almost always experience when I take my car in for anything elsewhere.

Mark and Paul saved the day!! I m from out of town and the belt went on my car. Got my car towed here and within an hour it was fixed! The guys are really nice and prices were reasonable.

Ken and Chuck at the Delaware and Linden location were absolutely fantastic - friendly and quick with service, looked over my vehicle for me and gave me an accurate and honest explanation of what I needed. Did a very thorough job and provided the best customer service you could ask for - employees like these two are what keep me coming back to Monro! Thanks again

I used to bring my car into this shop to get work done often. After my last experience I will never come back.I came in to get my oil changed and serpentine belt swapped out because it was wearing away. They swapped out the belt, to their credit. But that was the only thing they did properly.Whoever the "mechanic" was, while changing my oil they punctured the tank the hold the engine coolant.I know this because my AC stopped working the next day, I thought maybe the Freon that keeps the AC blowing cold air was low or empty, so I replaced that...still was blowing hot air. I checked the coolant tank, it was bone dry....no problem i bought more coolant and filled it up and it was blowing cold air again.I go to run some errands the next day, and all of my coolant fluid is on my driveway...... long story short, do not take your car here.The current mechanics there do not take the same amount of care as the previous ones.

We went to this shop last Saturday 2/28/20 completely frustrated about an issue I was having with my car. The service was GREAT. We were treated fairly, with respect and professionalism. The manager on this day was extremely helpful and polite. I consider myself a customer now and will recommend to friends every chance I get. As a woman I feel a little hesitant to go to car shops out of fear of being taken advantage of. This was not the case here. I'm very glad I chose this shop to help with my car troubles and will definitely go back!

Had such a good experience! Being new to Buffalo and finding a trusting place to get your car needs has been tough, but Chuck at Monro was amazing! Was able to squeeze us in on a busy day- definitely recommend!

DO NOT GO HERE! I asked them to just "take a look at my breaks" sold me some story about dust covers rusting and ruining my rotors. Wanted $1200 to replace all four pads rotors. They replaced the back just 10 months prior! Had another mechanic look at the breaks and there was absolutely nothing wrong. Rotors in perfect condition. They will take advantage of you. So angry.

Amazing repair shop! Scheduling an appointment was super easy. Brought my car in and within an hour they swapped out my muffler. They're beyond professional and extremely friendly. I will definitely take my car here again if I ever need any repairs.

I'll start with the positive: I've been to Monro a few times now and the staff is very personable and helpful. They explained exactly what needed to be fixed when I brought my car in for inspection a few months ago.However, when I decided to bring my car back to this location for an oil change, I was disappointed with the customer service. I called to make an appointment and mentioned several times that I had a coupon from the Monro website for a $15.99 oil change. When I arrived, I was told that the coupon was only valid if I applied for a charge card. This was not disclosed on the coupon, the website, or when I mentioned it twice on the phone. James told me that "offer subject to change" meant that the location could stipulate their own conditions. I was frustrated that this was not mentioned on the phone because I ended up paying twice what I was expecting and I would have gone somewhere else if I had known. I had previously recommended this location to friends but this situation is off putting and I will explore other options in the future.

I have had a really positive experience with Melissa and her store on Delaware. I've had a bad run of luck with tires over the last couple years, between an All Wheel Drive Car that always needs tires replaced in pairs, and teaching two kids to drive who can't seem to avoid pot holes...Melissa and her team honored the Monroe Tire Program and I only paid for replacement tires that were un-repairable. The team has always been able to get me in and out in a few hours as well.Thanks Melissa!

Ran over a nail on a Saturday night. Not many places open on a Sunday morning who are willing to get you in within the hour. Was in and out in a half hour and both guys working were laid back and friendly despite it looking like a busy morning. Will definitely be back.
