I own A&L Truck Repair Inc. We buy almost all of our parts from the West seneca location as well as our stock. All the parts people are very knowledgeable and helpful. Especially Don on second shift. The office staff is always a pleasure to deal with. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful with everything. My company will always do business with them.

Jamie from the Batavia location was awesome to deal with. We were broken down on our way to a race and she was able to get the part shipped to the race track on a Saturday! The service provided was nothing but exceptional

I called in asking for starter bolts. All of the starter bolts came out of my starter. and I had call parts trying to get starter bolts. They got to answer the phone told me they can t find the starter bolts in their system. He transferred me to someone else and it was rude talking about I don t understand. What are you talking about? I need to start bolts simple as that the only thing is holding my starter on is the starter wires

If I could give Fleet Maintenance 0 stars I would!! I brought my truck in for some maintenance issues and a DOT inspection. I knew I would have some extensive repairs going in, but to have Fleet Maintenance actually call me and let me know my truck was all set I could pick it up I would actually expect the truck repairs to be completed and the truck DOT compliant! $6,800 later my truck is still not repaired, nor is it DOT compliant. I still need 2 steer tires, an air valve is leaking and needs to be replaced as well as the bed has some issues they are not capable of repairing, but didn't bother to tell me that when I dropped the truck off or when I picked the truck up! Totally unprofessional with no integrity! Run away fast and find another place to have your vehicles repaired at. If you believe their mission statement they have failed miserably!

If I could give zero stars, that would be a more appropriate rating for this repair facility. We are O/O s and needed 4 batteries replaced on our rig. When we arrived they said they couldn t get to us in until 2nd shift, so we went to our pickup and returned at 3:30 for the repair. After dropping our trailer, they took our truck in within the next 30 minutes to start repairs. Here s where it goes wrong, it took 3 hours to replace 4 truck batteries wow! Then they charged $600 in labor really! Total bill for 4 batteries as $1200! If you want to be price gouged this is your place. I don t think they realize that we are local, as we operate out of WNY, but we will make it a point to steer all our fellow O/O s away from this place. Go somewhere else and save yourself some money. Hope this was helpful.

I love the Batavia location, I'm always getting parts from them & their service & atmosphere is always awesome. Not so much at the Buffalo location. The parts guy I had to deal had an attitude right from the jump. All I needed was to pick up a mod brake valve & he gave me the feeling that I was interrupting his stubby finger keyboard smashing. So sorry to disturb you sir, I mean I'm just a customer so how dare I.

This last week I took my motorhome to Fleet Maintenance for a standard oil change on a diesel generator. The oil change consist of 4 quarts of oil, 1 oil filter and 1 fuel filter. Last year the service was $224. which I thought was pretty expensive considering that I have done the maintenance before and there is nothing difficult about the oil and filter change, This last week I was charged $390.91 for the exact same service. I called and spoke with management who told me that the $166, increase was because they " have to make a few bucks". I explained that I have had most of my services done there but from now on, I will rather do it somewhere else. I told them that they had taken advantage of me and it was a rip-off. The price they charge is not nearly worth the service they provide, BEWARE of FLEET MAINTENANCE of BUFFALO.

Avoid this place at all costs. Zero stars would be a more accurate rating... they should NOT be allowed to advertise as a Freightliner dealer/service shop. My 2014 Freightliner M2 arrived on 4/11/22 for an issue with truck not starting. Diagnostic was performed and concluded EGR cooler & air intake connector needed to be replaced to fix the issue. Repairs completed 10 days later on 4/21/22 at a cost of $3600. Truck traveled exactly 153 miles from Buffalo, NY to Syracuse, NY and started encountering same issue. The next repair shop diagnosed and found that a new ECM was needed. Truck runs fine after replacing ECM.You would like to assume that these franchise dealers/service shops employ the most competent, highly certified technicians however, it's simply not the case at Fleet Maintenance.Save yourself some time and money by researching alternatives repair options in this area to avoid being overcharged, misdiagnosed, poor explanation of reason for repair. Staff was not courteous and this was an overall horrific experience.

Good people! Arrived late morning when it was wicked cold out and trucks were three deep on the lot with fault codes. We were in the shop quite quickly, Dave the second shift foreman clearly explained our problem with repair/service options.Work was completed as promised and the bill was ok as well!Thank you.

Didn't like the way I was treated. Went to buy a alternator for my 2001 Freightliner century and then my battery still wasn't charging. Asked them if they can do a diagnostic on it. After 1 hour in 30 minutes they came back and told me they don't want to work on my truck because it was too old and instead they tried to sell me their own Freightliner I told him that I came here because this is a shop 4 Freightliner that's what I told them that's the reason why I came to the shop. I came back down to Philadelphia PA took it to my mechanic and all he told me was that the reason why the alternator was not charging was because the positive wire was corroded plain and simple I would never tell anybody to go to this Freightliner you'll be wasting your time.

Nice place but prices are ridiculously high! Aftermarket fuel filter priced 2x times more than in PA (FYDA). Fuel level sender unit, $138, other places selling it for $75. I understand, everybody wants to live better, but I will better save on parts and buy them in PA.

Stay away from this place! They will rip you off and steal stuff out of your motorhome. We took ours in for a check code and inspection, what do you think it would cost? Remind you they checked a code and did inspection never fitted the code. 794.00 then when we got back the guy up the street diesel brothers came down checked the code and we found aftermarket part which only took him a couple minutes to put it in. For only 100.00. Remind you he came here to put it in. Then a couple weeks later we were going to check the belt on the Alternator in which a belt and tensioner were in the motorhome and are gone now ! In which another shop replaced it when we bought the home. Which didnt need to be change. So they gave it back to us and left them in the motorhome. That's a whole another story! Fleet Maintenance was the only ones who had the motorhome. Both are gone. So don't leave ANYTHING in there if you have NO choice to take in. I would find somewhere else to take your vehicle. This place is a rip off and doesn't get your vehicle in on time either. Took them 2days after our appointment time.

My company has brought our trucks here because we have to, according to the lease we have. The last three times the truck had to go back because the problem wasnt fixed. And that is after a week+ of wait without a truck. And good luck getting the service department to call you back. If you can go somewhere else, do it. Its not worth the aggravation and cost for rentals.

Though clean and polite after two days and $1500.00 my trucks abs was not repaired though it was proclaimed "fixed" aluminum panel was not reinstalled potential safety hazard. Social etiquette is fine what I NEED is COMPENTENCE !!! Suggest you verify your repairs and do a thorough walk around before you pay and leave

Took my 2012 freightliner to Fleet Maintenance for transmission work on Monday May 8th. I explained the problem that I was having. Seemed to me that the mechanic did not know where the transmission was. Called service manager everyday while there. Seemed like they looked at everything but the problem we were having. They had a different excuse everytime we called on why it wasn't fixed. Stopped by Thursday to check on truck and it was outside, not fixed. Another excuse and a charge of $345.00. Left with truck with the same problem it came in with. Very unhappy. Took truck to another shop and 45 minutes and $122.00 later it was fixed. Will never take truck there again. Art2/24/17 talked with Glen on the phone today about this situation. He was very understanding and listened to my complaint. he worked with me and satisfied the situation with me. I will be going back and giving them a fair chance.

Parts departed is the best great to work with. Service seem to be another story went in for a check engine light came out with $300+ bill still no powerful told me the turo had a bent shaft $2400 plus labor, had turbo replace a year earlier, got a second opinion the v pod was bad. Would have cost over 5k if I would have let them played R&R until got it fixed. Not in any hurry to let my tuck in for maintance there.

Had to get governor kicked down to go into Ontario, took them an hour to get to it, a 1 minute job, (first thing in the morning), after calling the day before to advise we'd be there waiting through the night. Then charged $185 for the adjust down and then back up (only allowed same day). There's a shop down the street we found for $110 for both adjustments, and they come to you. Save your time and money.

Rip off!!! Took my truck in at 12:55pm, told me they had the part quoted me 1.5-2 hours......asked the receptionists for the ET at 2:20pm she told me they were waiting on the part( after being told it was in stock) and that she couldnt located the mechanic at the time(at the end of her shift she still hadnt found him, i was standing by my truck 1hr later when he returned). The mechanic fixed 3 othee trucks during that time, at 6:45pm i am told they will be charging me for 6.5hours plus the part they changed...lets not forget the problem isn't what they said it was and isn't fixed!! Lets not fail to mention the racism I faced throughout this experience. I was told they will not be deducting the time they waited for the part, lunch, or they time they spent working on other trucks. STAY FAR AWAY!!

Cummins referred us to Fleet Maintenance.So... they finally brought in my coach after the unit was sitting in their parking lot short circuiting (with the key out of the ignition) from my problem that caused me to bring it in. The first shift service tech called me and asked me if he could put two new batteries in it because the batteries were dead. I explained to him that they were brand new batteries that I had just purchased 2 months ago (have receipt) and that they were most likely dead because it had been shorting out in their parking lot for the past 36 hours. He said they were too dead to get a test read. I said well why don't you charge them?He then said "well even new batteries can have problems and the battery might be shorting out and that might be what's causing your problems". I then asked this technician, "as a service repair shop, you don't have any spare batteries laying around that you can use to test to see if that is the problem?" He replied, "well we have a bunch of batteries laying around but by the time I look through them and find one that works, you might as well of put new batteries in." I don't see how a service repair shop does not have a good battery set aside to use to troubleshoot situations like these to see what the problem is. For some reason, he waits for the 2nd shift person to do this. So at this point 2nd shift throws 2 batteries in and charges me for them and they still don't fix my problem as you would suspect. So now here I sit having paid $350 because this shop does not have a spare battery laying around to use in situations like this. After he throws in two batteries which was useless he then calls me back to tell me that he is now gonna wait for the 1st shift guy to come in and work on this because he does not feel hes equipped to work on my unit. WHAT?!?! That was quite alarming but nonetheless I was very comfortable with him relieving himself after confessing he was not equipped. Then the next morning I gave it a few hours for the 1st shift guy to get in to my unit and decided to give a call around 10:00 a.m. The 1st shift guy then tells me that he has not touched my unit because hes waiting on the 2nd shift guy to come in and work on it!!! (Yes, this really happened).I replied "he told me himself that hes not equipped to work on this unit, why are you waiting on him to come in"? He said ahh, no hes equipped". At this point, seriously concerned with who was working on my motor home while my family of 6 was out on the street, I tried to contact the manager Ray Jackabus and could never get in touch with him. After not getting ANY resolution, I called the manager at Cummins. He contacted fleet maintenance and was told they were not yet able to figure out the problem. He asks them have they contacted freightliner directly to see if they can help them troubleshoot this issue. They responded "O freightliner won't be able to help us". So I called freightliner myself and the representative at freightliner contacted fleet maintenance and they were now on the phone with freightliner and got the issue resolved within one hour! The next day I went to pick up my coach and they tell me that the alternator is not working properly and that the dash warning light is on. I asked them if this would get me home to Florida in the current condition and they said yes! After breaking down one and a 1/2 hours later, it was discovered by another shop the pigtail had come unplugged in my alternator! I'm SHOCKED this was not noticed! I was told I should have never been sent home with a non working alternator. Also when I went to pick up my motor home they handed me a bill which included $250 for batteries, $140 for the part that caused the short, including freight, and $1,600 for labor which they told me included 3 different mechanics. FOR WHAT? Because that couldn't call Freightliner, hire equipped mechanics, and have test batteries on site?!?!!?

Without an appt, we received friendly, welcoming, prompt and professional service for issues that developed on our Winnebago diesel Motorhome (Freightliner Chassis) while traveling. We were back on the road the same day. They welcomed and spoiled our dog too :-). Thank you for everything!!! Highly recommended

I've been driving a little over 17 years, this is the fastest and most courteous Freightliner I have EVER been to! I went in bobtail between loads with a suspected bad sensor, I had my truck back in a few hours! When I break down again I hope it's near Buffalo.

Got truck towed here for repair. Parts were ordered and received early morning next day. Clean and comfortable atmosphere with friendly service. They offer a very nice waiting lounge area complete with TV, comfy couch and chairs, complementary kurig coffee, soda and snack vending, restroom, even a private business area with computer and printer available and WiFi access! They provided transportation to our hotel for night then came next day to return us to truck.

FANTASTIC!!!!!! What an incredible Team. I drive a custom motor coach for our local Hospital. It's a mobile mammography unit. We go to various "impoverished" areas of Buffalo, NY to provide a "life giving service". The best prevention of Breast Cancer is early detection. We broke down in 5 PM rush hour traffic on a major highway. The Team at Fleet Maintenance were so helpful. The "coach" has to either run on generator or shore power at all times. With our cold Winter weather, they made room for me inside their "full" work shop. I can't say enough of how accommodating the Team was to me. Under the circumstances they did everything to make me relaxed and comfortable. They have a great "customer" lounge with plenty of FREE coffee, tea, or Hot Cocoa. When I came in this morning, they jumped into trouble shooting our coach. We did cancel today's appointments, we didn't know how long and if it would be even repaired today. My hat is off to the entire Team, they knew the urgency of our mission and got us on the road in a few hours. Thanks is not enough to tell how much we appreciate all their efforts.God bless and keep on keeping on,GeorgePS of special importance, the Team had a full yard and shop of "necessary" work. They dropped what they were doing so the "mobile clinic" could go to the people who need it. Amazing and wonderful Team....you are the BEST!!!
