Went here to have the top end of my engine done and a heater core replaced. Not only did they not bother to flush the radiator when they did the engine, and heater core, but they never even bothered to top off the antifreeze. The car started overheating a couple hours after I picked it up and when I checked the antifreeze it was down over a gallon. And the radiator hose clamps were never properly tightened. Quoted me $1,500 to $2,000 for the job and ended up paying $3,000 and they couldn't even bother to flush and refill the radiator. Will never get my business again. Claim to be a car show quality garage but they're not even close to being that. Owner is rude and doesn't appreciate your business

Complete rip off, they sold me a truck and in less than 6 days the check engine light was on. They took the truck to address the problem and told me that 2 spark plugs needed to be replaced. They "fixed" the issue but less than 1 week later the check engine light was on again and flashing indicating a critical error, they took my truck again and said my computer needs to be replaced and the 1700 dollar warranty I got doesn't cover it. After a few hours of arguing they agreed to replace the computer at a reduced cost of 800 dollars. After 3 days in a piece of garbage loaner car, they told me it was replaced and ready to pick up. As soon as I got there is agreed to pay in payments until the 800 was paid off, then, after I signed the payment agreement I got the truck back. And the check engine light was still on . I immediately called Don and he said he was on vacation and would call the warranty company to get my motor replaced when he got back. 2 months later and still no word. Now my truck is still running terrible and they expect me to honor a payment agreement when they never actually fixed my vehicle. Biggest bunch of criminal scammers out there, stay away from D and S wholesale as well. They are owned by Dons and just as crooked and untrustworthy.

The owner is very rude. As an office manager in a customer service field I was very dissatisfied with the owner and would never bring my business there or recommend this place. The employees that spoke to me were very nice but I completely changed my mind after the way the owner spoke to me.

Picked up my car today from Don's after having some body work done. I could not have asked for a more wonderful experience. It is hard to find someone trustworthy and willing to do a job the RIGHT way in the auto business, but Don and his employees accomplish it. Very friendly and beat other estimates by thousands. They even played with my restless toddler while I was doing paperwork.

I brought my vehicle there after i was sideswiped by a truck and flatbed. Dropped the car off on a Wednesday and picked it back up on the following Tuesday. I was given a vehicle to drive the whole time my vehicle was there. A truly fast, convenient, easy process. Everyone was friendly and the work looks great. Can't even tell it was in an accidentThank you to Don, the mechanics, painters, and the girls in the office for making this a smooth process.

I have seen more personality in pebbles in the road than from the help there. Don himself is a great guy, but the help there have ZERO customer service skills. When they walk by you, you can feel them giving you the finger. Hello, we customers pay for you to be there. Not going back ever again. Sorry Don.

This is a very bad collision shop to deal with, I took my car for rear ended damage repair and this place totally tried to get over on me and my insurance company. This company charged over $5000 to fix my car and the paint on the inside of vehicle of the trunk is very messy and not professionally done. The trunk don't shut properly and off lined. Also, beware of their free loaner vehicle policy if you have full coverage this company will go behind your back and try to get the insurance company to pay for a rental car, make sure before you turn your car over to them you receive something in writing stating that there will be no charge for the loaner car.

Horrible service, rude people !!car broke down, guy came over to help, gave me dons card . I called. On card says free estimates free towing. They said tow truck would be there shortly, this was at 1145am. 2 hrs later i called to find out where tow truck was they told me to leave keys in car tow was running late. Car didnt get there till almost 5pm by that time they were going home car wasnt gunna be looked at till morning when.they opened don said they would look at it first thing. I called next day at 11am to see what was what and he said car wasnt even looked at. They didnt call me till almost 2 telling me it was starter and wires to starter. I asked a few questions he got extremly mad and said i could bring my tools if i thought i could do a better job. I explained i wasnt trying to offend just wanted to make sure. I got a call at a little after 4 and he said it wasnt that it was my transmission control module. That if i got it towed to ford it could be done for free over there. I decided to have it towed. It wasnt going to be towed till next day in morning . Next day car wasnt towed till 2pm . Ford called me at 4pm asking where my car was . I said it was dropped off there at 2pm. Ford looked all over lot it wasnt there. After calling back and forth from ford to dons and even tow truck guy it was finally dropped off. Tow truck guy said he dropped off at 2pm gave my keys to guy from service and its there, but tow truck guy lied.THEY LIED ABOUT DROPPING IT OFF . at almost 5pm it was dropped off in their back parking lot. After all that I GOT CHARGED 311.00 FOR NOTHING . THEY LITERALLY TOWED MY CAR 2 TIMES WHICH WAS SUPPOSSED TO BE FREE, AND THEY CHARGED ME 2 HRS OF WORK.. WHICH ALL THEY DID WAS HOOK MY CAR TO A MACHINE FOR CODES... horrible NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE... I MEAN THEY LOST MY CAR!!!

i went there to get my bumper painted and installed for a honda accord... they said it would cost $500 ... me being stupid agreed with him because i wanted to get it fixed fast and paid... the job was great. i asked other professional painters and they said they wouldve done it for half the price... i go back one week later and asked them how much to install fog lights in my car( didnt have the stock in there) they said $600!?!?!?!?i was absolutely stunned.I ended up letting a guy from a small shop do that plus put in an after market grill and install Xenon headlights kit for $150, thats 1/4 what they said not including all the other stuff.All am saying is that they're a RIPOFF!!!

My car would not start. I called don's they gave me a tow and fixed mystarter the same day. Everyone was real nice too. Will definitely be getting my inspections done here from now on..

I took my Jeep to Don's to get an estimate for an oil leak fix and a wheel alignment, he said it would maybe take an hour or so before he'd call me back which sounded great. Four hours later I finally get a call and he says there is no oil leak, I have a huge leak in my transmission lines and as for the alignment I just need a ball joint. Then as I go to ask him a question about the oil leaking he deflects and interrupts me saying there's also a clamp broken by the wheel that has to be replaced, he can do all the work for $850. I told him I couldn't afford that at the moment so I'll just have what needs to be done with the alignment taken care of for today and asked for the absolute total for getting the job done, he angrily tells me $250. Five hours later he calls me up and says to come pick up the Jeep and the total is $425, I told him that he said $250, he just said to come by and hung up. I get there and he shows me the receipt for $425 and says he quoted me $850 for everything but I only wanted the alignment taken care of so that's half of the job requested to be done so it's half of what his original quote was. Repeatedly told him his terms of service was $250 for the job to be done and now he's just demanding more for no reason while the entire time all of the staff were laughing hysterically at the situation and then he said he wouldn't give me my keys till I paid in full for the service he provided. So just like every other review of Don's Auto Body/Chop Shop unless you enjoy potato quality service from a bunch of con artists you'd be better off taking your vehicle just about anywhere else.

I wish I'd read the other review before taking my car there for a new engine. That reviewer correctly explained what to expect. After waiting over a week for them to fix the car, my engine leaked oil from day 1. I was told I'd have the car back in 3 days.Then..... I had to take it back in--and had to leave it for 3 days. It still leaks oil. Taking it back in again and have to leave it for days again. Their sarcasm makes the poor service worse.Will update this review next month.Be sure you have a lot of time to waste and another car to drive before going to Don's.

The work was subpar the employees were nice but the owner is rude blatantly took money from insurance company without replacing the part and he bonded up the old part he got paid to replace this is not the way to do business if you re reputable. Legal action is pending Insurance company said was highway robbery and they re going after him and they paid to have the work done somewhere else, adjuster said he wouldn t even send somebody there Because of their past reputation

wanted to get a front lip piece primed and painted, they quoted me $100 over the phone. I stopped in this morning to drop off the lip and they said total would be $290 (almost tripple what they quoted me) I tried to reason with them, and they gave me BS replies like saying priming alone would cost $100 in primer and labor alone. I was trying to mention that i was quoted a $100 over the phone, but he didn't want to hear it, just kept interrupting me saying "im not gonna lose money on this" and threw my lip kit back in my hands

This place downright sucks. I have had better customer service from 3rd world nations than I have had here. It was only after threatening both the Attorney Generals office and calling the Consumer Affairs reporter at Ch. 7 did they seem to want to help me. Go elsewhere!!!

Worst experience, got written estimate to replace engine in my van, then after it was in shop,, was told it was thousands extra because the sheet metal was gummed up, labor supposedly to clean it. The loaner car was a death trap, no heat in middle of winter, junker, not making it up.

Don's shop did a good job had to replace my engine had it inspected a week later and everything is working great ..he also did back brakes ..price was fair for extra parts they needed to put in when replacing engine and brakes

This is the worst place to take a car or any vehicle....this place is very uncomfortable and very unprofessional don himself will take full advantage of the customer's long story short ...i took a valuable car there and I wanted to upgrade my car...so I was getting a ls3 put in and a transmission which i purchased outside of dons...the price was made between us and i said great lets do it ....not knowing that I'm about to make the worst mistake..put it like this I'm paying for it now the car doesn't work rhe way it should and they broke a lot of things in and out of the car.. the worst experience ever

Drive my car there for a overheat problem, they took the end up taking the whole engine apart now can t drive my car at all .. bad experience never goin back. $340 later and didn t fix nothing

WE HAVE ALL OUR BODY WORK DONE HERE FOR WORK VEHICLES . ALWAYS EASY TO WORK WITH AND THEY DO AWESOME BODY WORK.THEN TODAY MY PERSONAL TRUCK BROKE DOWN. I TOWED IT THERE. I EXPLAINED HOW I HAD BIG PLANS TO DRIVE OUT OF STATE THAT DAY. DON WAS SUPER COOL. HE GOT MY TRUCK IN, DIAGNOSED THE ISSUE. CALLED ME. THEN FIXED IT. HE EVEN LOOKED AT MY FRONT END I ASKED HIM TO CHECK. HE COULD HAVE CHARGED ME MORE BUT AN HONEST MAN HE IS SAID EVERYTHING WAS GOOD.I HAVE BROUGHT APPROX 4 VEHICLES IN AND MY COWORKER GETS ALL HIS WORK/NY INSPECTIONS DONE THERE. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY.DON IS A RIGHTEOUS AMERICAN AND EXTREMELY HONEST BUSINESS MAN. HE HAS EARNED MY BUSINESS.

Awful there good getting you in the door but once in very bad customer service you ask a question we have 50 cars here not how can i help you or at least have a polite voice they didnt communicate with the insurance company like they said they would do they fixed the car and now holding it hostage even though the check has been sent to them they dont work with you as long as the claim is approved they should release your car its not like they are not going to get paid plus i know the check is there i believe something else is going on lastly if you have colored skin do not go their .

Didn t even have to go in, the lady who answers the phone set the tone for the place. She was very rude answering the phone and it turned me off from ever going there.
