I would give them a 0 star rating if I could. There was a miscommunication with the police, where we were in communication with one but another thought we abandoned our vehicle. The police were wonderful and totally helped me out. Davron towed the car and when I spoke to the manager he said that we abandoned our car. I explained that we did not and were on our way back to the vehicle. Every step of the way he made it seem difficult like it was gonna be really expensive and everything was gonna be really difficult. He was not going to let us use our AAA at first until the police called him and told him to. He was not helpful at all. By the time I got there to hand my car over to another company to be towed to the dealership, I ended up yelling at him to just give me my car and stop Talking to me. I apologized for being rude and he started yelling at me. This place would not know customer service if it hit them upside the head.

My car Was impounded by buffalo and sent here. When I came to see my car and get the price plus everything I need to get it out I asked to grab a few things from it and they let me. I then noticed damage on the front right passenger bumper and fender. I went back and asked about it politely because mistakes do happen. They immediately went defensive saying they didn t do that so I then showed them the damage which they still denied any wrong doing. (They even went to the back bumper pointing out some scratches the previous owner made) They even said how their cameras are connected to the Cheektowaga police station as this is their impound lot also. I told him I have a picture of it on the tow truck with no damage to the fender and to check the cameras as I will be back the next day to get my car out. The next day they handed us a paper to sign that there was no damage to the car and when I said there is damage he said we fixed it they didn t. They tried to. But if they didn t do it what try to fix it? They wouldn t let us take the car unless we signed so we had to but I have photos of it all. It don t look as bad but there is now terrible buff marks and scratches down to the metal that will make the fender rust so I had to go out and get touch up paint just to try and preserve it until I can find 1k to get it fixed properly. Why do our police use the Worst rated company to do there work? Everyone I ve shared this with has had their own horror stories about them. Don t come here!!

It s 11/11 at 10:40pm on the 290 highway. I am driving in the left lane and one of your tow truck drivers is behind me, getting extremely close. He then turns on his lights? So I get over to let him pass. As soon as he passes me, he gets over into the middle lane in front of me and slows down. He turns off his lights. I m confused. So I get back into the left lane- he then tries to get back over in front of me but he almost hit me. He was beside me in the same lane, almost like he s trying to drive me off the road. I had to break and pullover to avoid him hitting me. This was terrifying and EXTREMELY dangerous for a tow truck driver driving a COMPANY vehicle to be acting in such a way for zero reason. Oh and by the way, after he almost hit me, he gets all of the way over to the right lane to take an exit, flipping me off while doing so. So what was the point of switching lanes back and forth? To try and prove a point to me? For what? I made sure to remember the company name on his vehicle so I can write this review as a warning because I would never want my vehicle on the back of this tow truck. Whoever this driver was needs to be help accountable. I m just a 25 year old on my way home from a long day at work. Do better with your hiring of drivers please.

I would like to give them "0" stars and report them. This company will not allow anyone from my family to retrieve MY MOTHER'S BURIAL ASHES from this car. The costs are egregious and criminal and will take some time, however holding my mother's remains hostage is unconscionable and just horrific. Merry Christmas to this STATE CHOSEN TOW COMPANY. New State Thruway Authority Davron Towing, Joanne Mahoney and Governor Kathy Hochul should be ashamed of themselves!!!!!!!

Honestly the tow driver was so helpful!! He provided me with so much information to help get my disabled vehicle off the side of the interstate with NO COST to me! I am very pleased with how my bad situation was handled. Gave me a piece of mind!

This place is absolutely horrible customer service Wise you call and ask a question about your vehicle that's there they tell you daily to call the next day it's been 3 weeks and I still haven't been able to speak to the boss whoever that might be so now I have to go out of my way and drive 40 miles to answer my own question I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy

I wish I could leave zero stars! My tire was about to fly off of my car due to negligence from an auto shop that did work to my car the previous week. The tow driver took pictures of my vehicle and tried to send them to me but the messages did not go through. Auto shop where my car is dropped off to calls and says the car was damaged more by the tow driver putting it on the truck. When I called to get a hold of the driver and get my pictures resent, I was told it was behind me and the auto shop, the pictures of my car were deleted, and that they will not help me out any further and hung up the phone on me. Such a blatant admittance of fault by deleting the pictures and the absolute worst customer service of refusing to help a customer and hanging up on them.

Don't let them tow to their shop! They will give you a choice but won't tell you they charge storage fees if you choose their shop. Accident late Saturday. Car got to shop early Sunday. Shop closed till Monday. I call at opening on Monday and told I was being charged for the tow and $50 a day $150 even though at the time of the call the car was on their lot less than 32 hrs at that time and there wasn't an option to get the car Sunday. They offered to take the title to my car and only charge for the tow. Owner told me shop only gets $150 for junked cars. Why was I able to get $510 picked up. This shop will try and take every dollar you have!!!

My car was bright here after an accident on the thruway. They were quick to the scene and helpful. They were nice and helpful when picking up my car and having it towed out. I did not have any work done on my car here, just the pickup and holding it. Still, they were nice and helpful for me getting it back from them.

I tried to help a friend get his car off their lot after it had been towed. They strung me along by giving conflicting info. Once confronted they said, well it's not you're car so we don't really have to tell you anything. I wondered, why not just tell me that in the 1st place? Here's why: the meter was running while they jerked me around. Someone at DavRon is getting wealthy off of peoples misery while they uncompassionately take advantage of poor people caught between a rock and a hard place. Dishonest, shady and untrustworthy, avoid these demons at all costs.

Terrible. After repairing my vehicle, my door doesn t shut correctly, my seat belt doesn t retract and the mirror is hanging on by a thread. Insurance company recommended this place. 1000% do not take your vehicle here if you like it at all. The complete lack customer service is appalling.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

At this point, I have no complaints. Dave was really great with me and was really helpful, which I was not expecting due to past experiences with other tow yards. Once I see my car after my insurance carrier gets it picked up, hopefully all my belonging are still in there. If not, I'll write a followup. But this was definitely the best experience I've had with a tow provider so far.

I was the 4th car in a chain reaction vehicle. The tow truck driver said to me license and registration. I am a peace officer with the state. I told the kid to get lost you are a nobody. I said when the police get here ill give them my information. Kid is on a power trip. Stay away

Davron Auto Repair and Collision is the worst business I've ever encountered.Here's what happened...My 8 month pregnant wife Nicoele Ciminelli was driving home from work on Tuesday night on the 190 South. Unfortunately she got a flat tire. She had to call the police because she was told that there are exclusive contracts to certain tow companies for highways etc. I couldn't have even went to change the tire myself due to the law and I had 2 kids at home sleeping. So she gets directed to this company Davron Auto Repair and Collision 2425 Broadway, Buffalo 14212. They arrive about 30mins after. The guy puts on the donut tire (which is fine and just used a few months ago.) She was able to drive approximately 1 mile when the tire was falling off the rim. Luckily she didn't get into an accident. She attempted to call them 3x to inform them, but there wasn't an answer. Finally she called a different towing service they got there right away and commented that the tire wasn't put on right and the tire didn't seem to have sufficient air. They brought my wife and then car home. I then called numerous times to speak to the supervisor/owner. I told him the story and how upset I was as well as my wife and asked him for a refund. His reply, "why is your pregnant wife driving at night anyways? What kind of man are you?" Obviously this infuriated me as I started to yell at him he hung up on me.Don't ever use Davron Auto Repair and Collision!

The man Dave I spoke to was incredibly rude. He would not give me any information after towing my car. Despite having a nice car before the accident the guy claimed it was worth $75, and it was going to cost $230 for the tow. Guy was so nasty over the phone and when going to finally pay my outrageous bill, the guy was chain smoking. After leaving I had a terrible headache from the second hand smoke.

I am a very educated man and I am well aware of a scam. This company stole things out of my car and also lied to me. I asked how much was due for payment and was advised $0.00. I signed a release form for my vehicle. My insurance company went to pick my vehicle up and was told there were fees ranging over $300.00 for tow and storage. By this time it was 11/23/18 and the company closed at 5 p.m by time the tow truck arrived they were closed then 11/24/18 closed at noon and 11/24/18 closed I was charged 5 days of storage and a total of $377.00. My car was ramshacked and I am very upset. I am writing a letter to the New York State Thruway authority about this company because I know I am not the first person.

Was nervous reading all the reviews when my car was towed to this shop.I m sorry other customers have issues but today the owner was extremely polite, understanding and took off a couple hundred of my tow and storage fees. Pretty G

These people at davron are conivers and theives. I was given the run around while trying to get my car out of their impound. Meanwhile the bill was going up everyday. Finally I tried to start the car but battery was probably dead. I gave them the keys and asked them to look at it. Later I was told the car needed work that would cost $500 on top of the already high bill for towing and storage. They then sold my car to cover the bill that in part was so high because of the initial run around they created. There was nothing initially wrong with my car before it was towed. They have a contact with cheektowaga police. Corrupt crooks, stay away from them!

Chop Shop to anybody who is a minority owning a vehicle. Well organized by the Dave to rip off anybody who is stranded on a highway as a independent ripoff artist. I would report this to F.B.I.!

January 2011 Dave fixed my car. It took some extra time due to a severe snowstorm and Dave ending up in the hospital (because he didn't listen to his wife), but it got done, and it has been working fine and passing expections ever since. I'm not sure what all of the negative reviews are for. Maybe the owner (Dave) is no longer there, but when I went to him back in January 2011 with extensive work he made it all better.

This place is was horrible. Towed my car less than 10 miles, charged $238 +$ 45 daily . Talk to Dave and he told me $300. When I get there he charged me another $91 dollars,

Yes they are terrible at ripping people off. Every time I took my car to them to be fixed, something else had to be fixed. Since they were supposed to fix it the first time, I had to take it back and it cost me more.

Was suppose to take my vehicle to my house and instead it got driven around for a 1/2 hour on the flat bed and added miles to my AAA. Said there was drive way, and late pick up fees after everything.
