DO NOT GO THERE!!! My car has been there for 6 months since October of 2023 and they keep lying saying the car would be done by February of 2024 that the car would be done..one of the worst places to go. They have really bad communication skills Paul and Steve and have to go out your way to get your vehicle back..Don t worry I ll post the information and the bill to show the payments and everything and they always give everyone excuses about a part not coming on time or have to order one

My flatbed tow truck driver recommended this location. He said they would take care of me & they did. It has been a few months now & my Escape runs like new. No issues ever. Paul & the staff were amazing & honest, kept me updating every step of the way & I had my car & rebuilt engine back in less than 2 days. Highly recommend this location. Thank you!

When oil appeared on my garage floor and my transmission started slipping, I looked for aShop that would checkout what was wrong. After several calls nobody had time to diagnose the problem. That s when someone recommended Continental Transmission at 909 Hertel Ave. Paul asked me to bring it in right away and he would look at it. After giving me several options I chose for a rebuild. With fast and courteous service my transmission was brought back to like new condition. They even offered a way to finance my repair if needed. I have never written a review for any repair shop, but am doing so now. I give them a top grade on the work performed, fair pricing, and customer service. No need to look any further for the right shop.

I had a good experience here. They rebuilt my transmission for me for 2K less than the dealership. They explained everything patiently to me and got the job done on time.Follow up: Had to go back in and they had to re-do some of their work. It was on the house. It's a good idea to always get a follow up check up after you get serious work done to your car.

Everything about my experience exceeded expectations and I am beyond impressed at the level of quality and service. I highly recommend this place and specifically have to direct people to Paul Wolfe. Largely do to his impressive customer service, attention to details and efficient ability at the service provided all together. I'm very grateful to this place and all who helped to get me back on the road quickly and easily.

I recommend Continental Transmission because they were very affordable and they were willing to work with me. They went and picked up my car from my home and took it to their shop to diagnose for free. My car was done within 1 business day. I will be back

My husband brought his car a Cadillac to have his transmission done 2 months ago, and his car has been towed 3 times since. He's really not happy with the service that he has received. The car is broken now. It's not even drivable. You guys have been paid a nice amount of money. You guys wouldn't even rent him a car after bringing the car back a second time when it started over heating. HELP, PLEASE.

I only give credit where it is due.If you re in need of transmission work you REALLY need to give Paul and Nick a call in their North Buffalo office.They came to my house and picked up my 17 Silverado as a courtesy!!!!That afternoon I had a diagnosis and an estimate.Early The next day I picked up my truck.Very, very competitive prices, fast professional service and fantastic service.Due your homework of course !I think I know where you ll end up.Best Wishes ContinentalNick E.

Excellent customer service, and work, in a very reasonable price. They towed my car to their shop, called me with the estimate, fixed it, and then brought it at my house. The car drives like a dream and I wont have to worry about my transmission for a long long time.We need more professionals like these guys!! Highly recommended

My wife s car died while driving home. Continental sent a tow truck with in 30 min. and towed the car to the shop. They replaced the alternator and had her car back to her by the next morning. The service was great and it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Continental Transmission

Driving 12 hours from Georgia my transmission died once I got into Buffalo. I've dealt with Firestone in the past, but they recommended Continental very highly. Not being from the area I actually drove by another location and wasn't impressed with the shop or the area, so I visited this one and man am I happy I did. From the initial greeting , to giving me a ride to pick up a rental, to giving me a huge break on the total, The problem.eas diagnosed and the whole repair was explained in detail. Though pricey, I am very very happy and confident that my car was repaired perfectly. I would highly recommend this shop.

These guys did 2 transmissions on my worktrucks.I couldn't find anybody that wanted to work on them.They took them them in done very fast Found other stuff that was wrong with it.Bring it to my attention.I will recommend anybody with a heavy duty truck.to try these guys out thanks paul for Everything you did Marc from total Fence

UPDATEContinental Transmission misled me that it was free to disassemble my car, only to demand a whopping $2000 to put it back together. It was a trap, and I should have seen it coming. I trusted them, thinking a multi-million dollar company would be above sleazy tactics. But I was wrong. I take full responsibility for believing their lies and assuming they were decent human beings. This lesson has cost me my car. At least Nissan was honest about their sale.I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

These awesome guys have been an absolute godsend to me! I had to get work done for an inspection (after Delta Sonic took my sticker and gave me no 10 day and me needing to live my life and work that night but that's a whole dif review ) but then two days later my starter dies while I'm at work overnight and I'm wearing flip flops and no other way home. So both times I had come as a walk in no apt. plus with the starter it was Saturday and I had to tow it at 7am before they even opened and they closed at 2 pm and both times they helped me right away. I drove away with my car in just a cpl hours. They were super fast, so friendly and so awesome to take me with no appt. and def good price and pointed me in the direction of an inspection sticker so I didn't waste 5 hours of my life returning to Delta sonic as I did for the first inspection. Wasn't my first time there and def won't be my last. Super great shop !!

Liars & scammers ,Beware do not trust them,they will say anything nice to get your money that s their only concern, please go to the other continental shop location. After getting a transmission rebuilt a year ago ,then I Had to get the transfer case rebuilt 2 months ago, it went out already, thankfully it s covered under 12 month warranty for the 1,831 that I spent. after spending the 2,800 on the transmission rebuilt initially. So I Just called a week after they picked up the vehicle, for the transfer case failing while driving home after work .he said they haven t started it yet, & didn t even care to call after me waiting patiently the week.it s bad enough there were 7 screws missing ,not put back in place after last job they did, which I have on video, shown to me by my mechanic. Which was making a grinding noise, I took it in the put the screws in the pan but not the bolt the forgot to put back on the vehicle.My transmission fluid cap was missing off my truck & the bar that holds up the hood I had was missing.over the phone he said he had a universal one.so I went into the shop the guy told me he d order one for my vehicle , which I truly don t believe. We all as customers value our hard earned money & lives we carry our families in & commute in our vehicles. Seems like their more focused on volume & profit ,not details & quality work. Update after he finally fixed the transfer case the 2nd time supposedly ,that stopped working while leaving work, he drops it off at D@G welding without ever calling me or letting the welder know, I called he said my body is rotted in the back rear after spending 4,600 plus with them 0 respect & honesty. He could of said some before the transmission 20 months ago or 2 months ago when he charged me the other 1,800 I spent on transfer case, which he never said I would need after the transmission rebuild his response was dishonest.

Terrible service! Terrible work. Transmission still don't work. Went to get diagnostic on truck, they gore my Transmission apart on purpose. They tried to charge me $3000 + for anothertransmission. When I refused to pay the owner said "they couldn't put my transmission back together, I had no choice but to pay"! I refused and reported them to bureau of investigations and threatened a lawsuit.

When I was on my way to Buffalo from LI to visit family, my car (1999 Honda Accord) had broken down. I went to a different transmission shop in town (won't say which one), but I was quoted a price that was a bit too high. So I came to these guys for a second opinion and I got the same diagnosis of the torque converter needing to be replaced. However, I was able to get a much better price from them, and I was so thankful for that. I also pleaded to have it done in a short period of time, and they also got the job done by the day they say they would. I might have been from out of town, but these guys treated me with nothing but respect and cooperation. In the end, I got my car back and I was able to drive it the same day back to LI! Highly recommend these guys, and much thanks to the manager, Paul!!

I took my Tundra in for a shudder. They replaced the torque converter for $6000 and 2 days later the truck did the same shudder. I called them and they said it was learning shift points. So, was the initial problem from learning shift points? .... damn glad it was covered by aftermarket warranty and that wasn't out of my pocket.

My experience with continental was awesome. I was having an issue with my car over heating, I called the shop, the gentleman told me to bring my car right in. I ended up needing a new water pump, my car was fix within a few hours as promised. Im back up and running. The team was excellent. I would recommend anyone for service. I was very pleased with the communication from beginning to end. I'm a ver happy customer.

I had my intake exhaust manifold oil pressure sensor and tuneup done and I m excited about what s been done it took no time and it was done right I have no more 02 sensor codes or nothing else thank you so much and I would recommend any real mechanical issues your having to take it to continental so there will no longer be any

I live in Virginia, my step son lives in Buffalo. He had some vehicle troubles so we researched and found Continental Transmission which already has great reviews and plainly states on their website that they take all extended warranties which was big for us since that's the route we were planning to take. Everyone I spoke to made the entire process very simple. From taking care of my step son when he called in to getting all the necessary information to the extended warranty company. The vehicle was only down for a few days as well. We fully expected a longer repair time and were pleasantly surprised when the vehicle was finished so quickly. My step son is back on the road and it's all thanks to the great people at Continental Transmission! Thank you!Service: Transmission

Had to come back 4 times after spending $3,300. Service and repair was terrible. Kept making excuses why it's not repaired right and just poor service period. Was given used parts and was told they were new. I definitely do not recommend this place. Even the 2 other locations told me I was not going to be happy with this place and they was 100% correct.
