My new mechanic ! Mr. Syed is the best . Took great care with my vintage 1983 Volvo , and was very kind to squeeze me in for an emergency replacement of a front strut on my Honda Odyssey . Prices are fair and honest.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Beware of this place if your car need inspection.So i took my car there for inspection and this is the first car inspection because my car 2022 model and it has less the 10k miles he supposed to charge me $10 for this service but first thing he said $30 for inspection I thought price increase that s why I was like okay.When I came home I saw the receipt he gave me and it s says $10 state inspection charge.I already complained to state DMV that he s charging more then he supposed to.

This business came recommended to me by people who know cars.I don t know about cars, and I stress out about going to mechanics. I m always worried about getting ripped off.My problem was diagnosed quickly (corrupted front caliper and rotor). The mechanic did not try to upsell me on any extras. He took care of me promptly. And I was given a price that was a lot less than I expected.I am an extremely satisfied customer.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Cannot recommend Mr Syed and his shop enough. He took the time to test drive the car, explain the problem thoroughly and then gave a very reasonable quote. Very knowledgeable and friendly service.

Syed uncle he is the best mechanic i have ever seen. I have a toyota corolla it had a minor problem on transmission i went R&J service shop at lovejoy he said the car has big problem in engine so he needs 3/4 days for dialysis then i went to toyota dealership they said car has lots of problems, i should be buy a new car. Then i went syed uncle garage, He fixed my car within 40 minutes. So for me he is the best mechanic and he has also more than 25 years of experience in this field. So guys you can trust him.

The best mechanic I have ever had. I have never been more comfortable with anyone. he even test drives my car. He will also tell you if you need to bring it to someone else. Always a fair price. Syeed is awesome and honest. I've never walked out of a mechanics shop being told my concerns weren't problems that were gonna cost me 500 dollars. Any mechanic that will turn down work that doesn't need to be done is a treasure

The mechanic is a nice old Indian guy. He gets the job done really well at a very reasonable price. I like him and his work.Edit: Since my initial review, his son took over. The shop took a severe downward turn. Charged a lot for a brake job and didn t even put it on right. A lot of other people have similar complains. I would avoid this particular shop if possible.

Very honest mechanic, have recommended to others and gave him my business through a family member recommending him to me. To attest to his honesty When I had my old car which was a 96 Mazda prot�g� he quoted me $450 for a muffler repair with some other damages while other mechanics charged a little over $1,000.He also let me know when it was time to stop putting in repairs and just buy another car to save money.

My mother bought a amused car from this dealership. Avoid at all costs. Since getting the car she has to replace the calipers, the wheel bearings, and the alternator. One of the bearings was so rusted it just fell apart when our mechanic replaced it. The transmission pan is also leaking. Her cruise control light blinks every time she starts the car and drives. The owner has been no help to her and has written off all the problems on the car. Do not go to the business. You ll regret it every minute of the day.

I went to American & Import Automotive at Harlem Road after hearing positive reviews from my friends. Indeed, Syed was a pleasure to work with. He could pinpoint the issues with my car and charged fair prices. I would definitely go to him for any issues related to my car.

Syed (mechanic/owner) is an excellent, honest, personable and economical mechanic with I believe several decades of experience between working for a dealership and then operating his shop. In 2008 a friend s father who drove for a living strongly recommended Syed to me. At the time I was a mechanical engineering student with a beater car that required regular maintenance. Syed has always proven himself to be an extraordinary mechanic and I have always recommended him to others. Since I started going to him my parents, sibling, and several friends also switched to Syed and have only had good things to say. You owe it to yourself to become a customer.I feel my review should carry more weight than most. I am speaking from a mechanical background, and on behalf of multiple other customers with a total customer length of several decades.

Syed is by far the most honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic in the city. I am so glad i was told about him. Would highly recommend for any car problems!

Will not go there again. I had problem with my rotor with the pads rubbing against the rotor. They checked it out for 10 seconds and gave me an estimate of 430 dollars saying both sides rotors, calipers, the caliper hose and the pads need to come off. I took it to Mavis discount and they fixed it along with transmission fluid ( 79$) since it was dirty, for 300$.

I advise you not to go to this fraudster, yes, a fraudster, he took 550.00$ dollar from me, but he couldn't return the item, followed the emergency brakeWhen I came back to him the next day, he was nervous and didn't want to talk and told me that it was nothing to do with him and he didn't want me to come back to him again, so I will take legal actionServices: Vehicle Inspection, Brakes

It is seriously impossible to find an honest mechanic, at least I thought. Then I found Syed at AAI on Harlem. He is TALENTED and ETHICAL. I do not have enough positive things to say about this man. I do not trust anybody else to work on my car.
