I was referred here by a close friend. The staff was very courteous, the facility was large and well kept. My car had to remain at the shop while waiting for a part to be shipped and was stored inside safely. No work was done without approval and the quality of the work was very good. The price for the work that was done was also resonable. My car is back to purring on the highway. I recommend this mechanic shop highly.

I always get my inspection here and have the easiest experience. The owner Anthony is one of the nicest men out there! He handles it from start to finish with a breeze. Love it here!!!

They are crooks. They try to make me buy new tires for my call. And I didn't need him to pass inspection. They told me I had to pay them $365 for 2 brand new tires. And if I did it by the tires, they weren't going to pass my car for inspection. So I went somewhere else and they did the same inspection and I passed and I asked him. Did I need 2 new front tires and they told me no I did not. So to all y'all going here for an inspection, please be careful. And no telling what they are telling you about your repairs on your car too. They're probably telling you. You need something repair and a problem doesn't even need to be repaired.

Im no expect but a nys inspection shouldnt take hours. I have been other places where they just hook your car up to the computer, run the checks needed, collect their fee and you are on your way... 20 minutes is a stretch. This place was acting like they needed hours to run the inspection and the lady at the desk was too busy on her phone to careless. This place is a joke.

They made a wheel alignment on my car. When I go home, I realized that the steering wheel was not on its place. I had to come back again, they made it right. I drove 1000 miles and my wheels are running straight. Good job, however I would like to advice them to wear cover on client s chair because I found many dirty spots on my white interior, take out one star for it.

I bought my car in for an inspection. They changed 3 bulbs without my authorization. I had lifetime warranty on my high beam bulbs, which was 2 of the bulbs changed. When I informed the owner he stated that i should have informed him before i dropped off my vehicle. I responded that he should have informed me before he changed the bulbs. They charged me $88 for 3 bulbs and added a labor charge and an $8.26 non cash fee because I paid with a card. My bill was $219.00. This is ridiculous I only came to this shop for a $37.00 inspection.

STAY AWAY! They will charge you for things without your authorization then will say it's written on the wall. Extremelly rude owner full of attitude. Check YELP reviews - horrible. Positive reviews here might be from people he knows.

Good people. I usually do all my own repairs on my truck, so i came in just for a wheel alignment with a coupon no less, so i wasn't expecting much. I showed up a few minutes early and was taken care of right away. The staff was friendly and eager to explain the process. The shop looks clean and professional (its always nice to see people that care about their work space). I waited on the spot and got a chance to see about a dozen customers come through. Everyone was taken care of with respect, even the loudmouth that showed up with his own parts and a bucket load of attitude! Overall i was impressed. Keep up the good work and i will definitely keep coming back!

Horrible service. Office worker was disrespectful, he never wanted to break down my bill and refused to explain. Threw down the pen and receipt and ask me to leave his office after I tried to get clarity on my ridiculous bill.

A school bus hit our parked jeep and we took it to Tom and Arties Auto and they fixed it like new. The adjuster didn't add the mirror into the estimate which was suppose to be added and Tom put a new mirror on free. They do good work and I recommend them.

I usually work on my own vehicles. However, as time has become more limited, certain repairs can't wait for when I have time so finding a shop that I feel comfortable leaving my car with is very important to me. Shop was very professional and prices were extremely reasonable.

These guys tried to charge me $300 for an alignment that is $65. They said the balljoints and tires were bad but they were lying. Beware of these sharks....they are part changers. Also, the owner got an attitude with me when i decided not to go with their services. Unprofessional!!!Update: Since i posted this they called me and left a rude and nasty voice message. They didn't even have the humility or courtesy to respond appropriately to customer dissatisfaction. Talk about lack of professionalism!!!! Having gone there, I totally believe the last reviewer who said they threw him out. I have the voice message to prove that this company is both rude and aggressive towards customers.

Went in for inspection car needed tires in order to pass, spent my whole day with the staff...LOL but, overall the job was done! Staff were nice & friendly! I would recommend this shop! As for myself before I go to any mechanic shop I always check their reviews this was my first time & it won't be my last! Thanks Anthony!!

I have been going to Tom & Artie's for many years, and I rely on them for all repairs pertaining to my car. Repairs are explained to me in detail and I am informed of the total cost before any work is done. Everything about their service is amazing! The staff is courteous, professional and friendly. I am a customer for life!!!

Do NOT come here.Stay away from this place! Attitude, unprofessional and rude.Came to do a simple nys inspection with a tight schedule. So I called in advance, they said "max one hour. You can come now..." I had to wait 2:30 hours for a simple, simple inspection.When I got there, the owner rudely said that he doesn't care what HIS employee said over the phone (unbelievable) and I had to either wait and be quite, or leave (never experienced this before, anywhere). Then, I was threatened before I left, yes threatened. He said "if you don't pick up and leave, I will drag you out by your hair".Make your own conclusions.

I found this place through a groupon I purchased for a wheel alignment on my 02 Escalade and also got a tire rotation while I was there. I was pleased with how polite the receptionist was both on the phone and in person. Anthony was very patient when I had a question, which I truly appreciated because unfortunately this isn't the case at alot of auto repair places. My newfound mechanic Mike even found an issue that needed my immediate attention, for which I'm extremely in gratitude. #mikeistheman In all, its very rare I have so many positive things to say all at once about a place. In close, I plan to return here always for everything my vehicle needs. Thanks guys

I worked at this place before but i left there more than a month ago..the person in that picture is not me..they fired me because one day i went to work and things just looked suspect so. I came back home..they ended up firing me which was ok with me because i have a skill that no one can take from me and i expect to be paid for what am worth!!..

Best auto shop in canarsie. Great prices and the guys are honest. I thought my alternator was messed up which cause about 300 and it was the battery. Good guys
