My fianc purchased a wrap through something else co. First of all, there was some sort of miscommunication with them and another company that he d purchased rims through so his car sat in Brooklyn for over a week before anything was even done. Supposedly this was because of a miscommunication between a former employee of the other company and Something Else Co. We had to call Something Else Co to even get anything started. I can t necessarily blame Something Else for that but the other company had told me they were trying to get a hold of Something Else and were being ignored. Then, the guy at Something Else made it seem like he d be doing us a favor to go and get the car and that he d squeeze in working on the wrap. Now my fianc had been quoted $2,500 for the wrap and financed that so he d be able to do it right away. We were told the car would be ready by November but then all of a sudden, it wasn t ready yet. The wrap wasn t even started until December (and we had dropped the car off in the beginning of September!) and we were told that if we wanted the vehicle to be sanded, we d need to pay an extra $300 when we picked up the car. We had the option for a light sanding for free but wanted to pay for the full sand so the wrap would actually look good. We finally got a picture mid-December. We saw that the wrap was the wrong color but we d been waiting for so long, we decided not to say anything and that it was good enough. In the picture everything looked good and we had family pick up the car since we were both sick with Covid and the flu. However, once we were better and went to look at the car, we realized the pictures that Something Else Co sent were very deceptive. They took pictures from angles that hid the spots that aren t sanded. There s bubbles in certain spots from the car not being sanded properly before wrapping, and the wrap around the headlights and brake lights is sloppy, and the brand new brale lights that worked perfectly fine before we sent the car to Something Else Co are now not working properly. I wouldn t recommend them to anyone. The guy acts like he s doing you a favor when really he s trying to screw you over. We re so dissatisfied that we re actually considering a lawsuit at this point.
