The owner at Sal-be. Is honest considerate he'll work with you. I would not trust anyone else with my cars.. I moved to South Carolina. And I couldn't find a good mechanic. I drove up to Brooklyn New York to have Sal-be do the maintenance on my car. That's how much I trust Frank

Took my 1952 Ford F1 to Frank as he s the only person in the area that has experience with classic muscle cars and I was not disappointed. He was extremely thorough and made sure he took that extra step to not only fix the issue but improved what needed fixing to work better then it would normally work regularly.

Very bad place, if you have problems with your car, don't come here - there will be more problems. It is impossible to talk to the owner, as he always stands on his own, does not admit guilt for anything. I left the car for a replacement part, and after a week came to find out why it is still not ready (we agreed that in a week everything will be done). The car is all dirty and as it turned out the parts are still not ordered, disgusting service

I had a highly disappointing experience at this auto repair shop. The level of professionalism here is seriously lacking, and it seems that the owner's primary concern is money, not customer satisfaction. After going to Quick Stop for years, finally needed a mechanical fix for vehicle so tried to see Frank at Sal-Be right next door to discuss my issue. He was very down to Earth honest about my options & what to expect, gave very sound advice. Frankie is an excellent mechanic. He has done everything on my car from engine to brakes. Not expensive, not not cheap, very fair. I've always been happy with the work his does. Can't see going anywhere else.

Update 2022: Still stand by what I said back in 2019. Frankie is a really honest owner. He tries his best to address any issue we have fairly and transparently. Works w my schedule too. Support this shop!2019: Helpful and professional. Very straightforward with the work that needs to be done. Fair pricing. Couldn t ask for more from a mechanic.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. The worst, most unprofessional service that I ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. My car had a major problem with various engine leaks that Sal-Be claimed they could fix for a fair price. Once my car was in their hands, the owner was repeatedly rude to me and my family whenever I would call for an update. An update which, by the way, I would never get. If the story ended there, I wouldn t be writing this. But when I got the car back, everything seemed to be fine until not even 3 days later when the car got worse and became dangerous to drive any further. After raising concerns with Sal-Be, I was told someone would come take a look at the problem. No one came. I didn t hear a word. I furiously brought the car back to be fixed and paid out of my own pocket. And here s the kicker: after all of that, they still didn t fix the initial problem. They made it worse, all while charging me a full price for a fix. I still have to check the vehicle every weekend to make sure everything is alright. I fully advise anyone reading this, do NOT take your vehicle here. They will not take proper care of it, and the owner is a miserable person who will take it out on you for being worried about your car.
