Roger at New Hope is what a mechanic should be. He s honest with his pricing and won t up-sell. Treats you like family. Him and his crew are very good with diagnostics, repairs, performance as well as body work. Been going to him for years. Everything is always done the first time.

My car had at least 10 problems and safety concerns when I rolled in, and they took care of it faster than any other auto shop of this size.Honest, professional, safety oriented, and fair pricing. With a master mechanic at the helm, rest assured your vehicle is in good hands. Roger does a thorough inspection of the vehicles, identifies the problems, explains in detail the solutions, and gets things done.Definitely a go to place for all of your car s needs.

Roger is very reliable owner for ensuring each vehicle is well maintained and up to per with the repair. I would come to him anytime. His shop is always busy.which is good sign that many customers depend on him. His price is fair and he will help you the best he can

Amazing experience they take there time to explain everything they do with no unforeseen cost. The customer service at this autobody Shop has surpassed any of my previous experiences with mechanics who don t really take the time to please there customers. I only wish I would have met him years ago when I was overcharged. They really take pride in all the work in I ve been here 3 times. They also specialize in wraps & painting your car which I can t wait to do for the holidays .

The best shop in NYC . No joke they take it serious and will make sure everything is good with your car . As of speaking right now they have my bmw E46 Roger will be working on getting my full wide body kit installed and full make over will be getting done inside. I brought all my cars to them and my family and friends . .

Roger pretends to be your friend when you first meet him and will give you a quick date on when the work will be done. After you pay him or after he gets the car, he will take FOREVER and not care about you. He s to the point where he s making so much money he doesn t care anymore about good customer service, he knows if someone comes to him for something and then when he s done he will give them an INSANE PRICE. I would not go to him to be honest, and his packed shop doesn t show good work, it just shows the loyalty in some of the customers who s been going here for years since his parents ran the shop tbh.

Roger and his team did a fantastic job fixing the scratches and dent on my car. They were able to complete the job in 24 hours time and sent progress pictures to keep me updated. Price is fair and reasonable as well. I highly recommend them.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Great shop. They will take care of all your car needs, whether it is paint, mechanical, upgrades , anything. No need to go anywhere else, and I drive an hour (traffic) to go to it

I've only been here a few times, but I really like the work Roger/New Hope Automobile does and I highly recommend them. Roger is a great guy and he kept me updated on the work he was doing to my car. I felt that my car was in good hands the entire time and I'm very impressed with the attention to detail provided.

You won t find a better body shop & owner who cares not just about the cars but, the driver as well. I ve done maintenance, to body work, paint jobs, all the way to inspections. You name it, they do it. Place is the best of the best. For anyone concerning themselves with pricing, you re paying for a service. Your vehicle will notice the service it gets from New Hope Auto! Unfortunately my rear passenger door got damaged by garbage truck. I went to couple of body shops for estimate, but price and time frame to fix it wasn t good enough for me. Luckily, my friend recommended me to go and check it with Roger from New Hope Automobile. I m happy that I did. Roger is really professional, polite and easy going guy. He gave me the best price and he finished my car at the same day. Have no problem or any issues with the paint. No 2-3 days, like I was told at the other places. So, A+ Body Shop. Roger is a great mechanic honest, reliable, knowledgeable, and fast. He s also very friendly and won t try to upsell you or try to take advantage. He spent extra time solving a mystery problem with my car, and I ve gone back multiple times since for different reasons. New Hope Auto has my trust.

Great service and friendly staff. Roger is a true gentleman. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and got my car up and running in no time.Update - I've been to this shop a few more times since my last review and I have to tell you, nothing has changed. Still top notch work from friendly staff who know their stuff. I won't go anywhere else.

10 dollars for the headlights, changed the high beam and low beam! It broke once every two months. After receiving the money, the attitude was bad and deliberately delayed your time and refused to install it! The installation was poor, my high beam fell out and I put it back on myself! The low beam is broken twice, the installation is crooked, and the light is not far enough! The more I thought about it, the more angry I came to evaluate. Inferior products deceive customers, poor workmanship, bad attitude, really nothing to say...Profiteer

I've been going to New Hope auto since 2015. Roger has taken care of my current and previous cars over the years. Roger does extremely good work. The shop is constantly busy with cars ranging from Vintage/old school all the way to exotics. No job is too big or too small. They retain sharp technicians whom clearly understand the issues at hand.Good work takes time, they always recommend getting OEM parts whether its through the shop or if you pick it up yourself. Roger has taken care of my cars routine maintenance and occasionally big jobs related to engine/transmission. I've also done a few performance mods i.e. intake, exhaust, suspension. I have been a customer here for more than 30 year's, Would not dream of going anywhere else. New Hope offers every service to keep your vehicle on the road. Inspection, routine maintenance, diagnostic, full body shop, engine overhaul, all makes/ models. Truly one stop repair shop.***the people that leave bad reviews are probably Rogers competitors.I know when I get bad reviews they are from people that were never even at my shop.Nevertheless, New Hope is my only shop I go to.*UpDate 6-27-2022Roger @New Hope Auto really gets you back on road quick.Got into my car this morning drove a few blocks and noticed a major issue.Went straight over to New Hope and within a few hours got me back on the road.They even performed routine maintenance, and resolved another issue they discovered.New Hope is the only place you should go when your vehicle needs repair.Best RegardsChuchero World VIP AUTO NYC

One of the best shops I ever been to. I went there because my long time friend Rodney started working there and he recommended it since he has always been my mechanic, I gave them a try. After I met the owner Roger, he runs this business correct, customer service always comes first. They did not only have my car ready in time but when I came to pick up early in the morning they had breakfast ready for his morning customer. The attention to detail is outstanding, and their customer service skills are superb, by the second day I felt like a knew Roger for years. Highly recommended!!!!

My car was side swiped from the front to the back, i wanted a great job since i'm planning to stay with the car for a while (2017 vehicle) and they exceeded my expectation they even had someone pick me us for the rental car place. Roger was the person that assisted us very friendly guy and trust worthy , unlike these other places where they tell you one thing and end up extending your time causing you an extra bill, very please with not only the job that was done but with their quality of service. I'm hoping not to go through this situation again but if i do i will go back to this place any day!!

The staff is very helpful and Roger is great at explaining things to you. It can get pretty packed at times but anytime I come here to service my car, there are no issues. If you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop in the area, I would recommend this one.

Roger took care of me with fair prices and good work. Dropped my car off in the morning to replace rotors, brakes and cabin filter and got it back in the afternoon. He also took care of some minor issues such as missing screws and battery corrosion. Been going for five years. Roger and his crew helped keep our car (over 130,000 miles) running well. The prices are very reasonable, and I trust his judgement. We'll continue to go to New Hope to maintain our new car.

Hands down best mechanic in all 5 boroughs. Roger definitely knows his stuff and is the most Highly skilled mechanic I ve met. Extremely fair priced and the shop is a clean environment had zero worries and knew my car would come out perfect as it did.

Roger and his crew have always taken great care of me. They get me in ASAP, do good work quickly, and get me back on the road for a reasonable price. I moved away and I still drive to bay ridge to use them. Nobody else I trust. I can't recommend them enough.

Awesome shop. Roger runs the shop now. He is a stand up guy and an automotive enthusiast. My dad and his dad go way back to the 80s when their shop was on 39th street & 9th Ave.As a matter of fact, we purchased our first minivan from them. Great bunch of guys with extensive knowledge of cars.I referred quite a few friends and relatives to New Hope and they all had great things to say about Roger and his crew.

New Hope is a Good shop thats been good to me the past few years. there are a few issues though, they are always busy, and they cost a bit more than the other shops in this area, but Roger is cool and he remembers me since we have the same name. I found them after my previous mechanic couldn't get the check engine light off my Audi, Roger did it in one visit. Since I live close I usually drop it off, and within hours i'll get a call saying the car is fixed.
