Are you kidding me...? I had some serious business to take care of .. I got a flat while in the Car Wash down the block....Came here a few minutes before opening hours...they received me...handled it quickly.....on my way... FABULOUS!!!

I went to a few mechanics and nobody was able to fix the air conditioning on my Nissan rogue but these guys did it all within 4 hoursVery professional for a fair price

Wouldn't know I wasn't able to be serviced. They would not inspect my car. Lightly tinted windows So I give them 3 stars because I'm not sure how they would have treated me. The man came out very serious and said NYS will not allow me to inspect your car take off tints and come back. Yeah right went to the next inspection station and it was done without a problem. Looked like a nice auto place. Try them why not

Very happy I found this place. They're honest, they do great work, they're quick, and they're very reasonably priced! They also have a comfortable, clean waiting area.I've found myself a new mechanic - and it's Malibu Auto Repair!

Got a oil change from here, few days after the oil change i got a low engine oil warning for my car, topped off and continued on for a bit. What i thought was increased oil consumption ended up being a cracked oil filter housing, last people who worked on the area was this shop. The advisor at the different shop said whoever did the last oil change over torqued the oil filter. Shocking that they don t use a torque meter and just ugga dugga things on

I recently took my old Toyota Yaris to Malibu Auto Service, and I'm thrilled with the outstanding job they did. What can go wrong by letting this shop to repair your vehicle?In my case obviously they rushed the job and came out sloppy.On May 7, 2020 upon delivery, I performed visual inspection steps of the re-painted area rear bumper cover w/park sensors and notice multiple paint defects including but not limited to; (1) color that doesn t seem to match the original factory color by either didn t mix the paint correctly or chose the wrong color variant (darker shade); ( 2) contamination found on the substrate; (3) fish eyes noted on many areas of a paint finish that indicates a contaminate; (4) excessive film thickness in full wet coats that lead to excess paint runs; (5) excessive film thickness also compromised rear backup sensor system; (6) scratches due to negligent remove & install process, that must to be corrected; (7)Damage was done to the bumper by sanding machine (paint preparation);(8)Paint was damaged on rear right side Quarter panel (prob by paint thinner cloth).Management refused to correct defects.Now it cost more to re-repair, i will update this review with more pictures once this case will be over.I would stay away for this facility ....

Been going here a couple of years service has been fine and quick. Recently my girlfriend dropped my car off for an oil change. Guess what they charged her? **$160** they tacked on so many extra charges/did work that was not asked for. For example, they charged her $20 to fill up the tires and also changed the air filter. The tires did not need air and the filter did not need replacing, nor did she ask them to do any of that. They also charged her $20 to spray air down the sunroof drains to clear them out, which is something they ve never charged me, a man, for.Dishonest and scummy to the core.

Super friendly and straight to the point. We got a second hand prius and it was very loud if you drove over 30 mph. We had no idea what it was. They hoped in my car after describing the problem and he knew right away it was the wheel bearings. Have me a quote with 2 prices so I had options. I didn't have the money at the time so I just left. No inspection fee which was a relief. We will definitely use them again and may end up fixing the bearings and we will use them if we do.

Super fast service, incredibly organized for a repair shop in Brooklyn. All the other repair shops on Coney Island Ave lie about the wait time and usually don t even get us in the same day. We called, came 5 min later and they serviced us. The whole experience took 30-45 min for a NYS Inspection. Staff is respectful and good at their specialty. 10/10 recommend!!

I have found my new auto shop!!! My mechanic recently passed away and it s been a challenge for me to find a good auto shop with mechanics who actually care. My car had a clogged drain and I called and visited many other shops before coming here. The receptionist, manager and the mechanic that worked on my car were professional, attentive, clean and catered to my personality which is a BIG PLUS! The mechanic showed a lot of concern for my cars issue and took his time assessing the problem. He asked me a few questions regarding my car s history and explained what he has to do to figure out the problem before solving it. I felt like I was present in a mechanic class, because I learned so much from him. After he fixed the problem, he went above and beyond to check other things for me. I will definitely be coming back here for ALL of my mechanical needs HANDS DOWN! A++Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Pay attention to what they do to your car! They told me that they only use Shell engine oil but in the end it turned out that they were lying, they used an oil from unknown container and they were trying to convince me that it was Shell product. Don t trust this them very sneaky people !

Very nice people and very professional service. I needed someone to replace a burned light on the back of my car, and at the same time I needed oil change. Very basic service, but from my experience with places like this, even the most basic things can turn into a long and expensive repair.They replaced the light bulb and did oil change within 45 minutes. And they charge me exactly what we agreed before they did the oil change. Honest people, and I am planning to use them again if I will need my car fixed.

Awesome service. I brought my own front bumper and they painted and installed it. Paint was a perfect match I mean like really perfect there was no difference at all. They also cleaned my interior floor which was nice of them.

Not only did the shop do an awful job with the car, but they are also THIEVES! Removed expensive HIDs from the car that went missing. Destroyed both leather door panels when removing the doors. Stole entire undercarriage protective shielding. They know nothing about it. Hang up the phone when calling. Nasty and rude to say the lease. AVOID AVOID AVOID!Will be filling with the BBB and will take them to court. Avoid the hassle dealing with these crooks.

I would love to give these guys 5 stars but there were a couple insignificant issues. I had the fender replaced and the bumper fixed/painted on my Audi Q5. Also had my rear breaks replaced. Fender and paint work was great! Price was very reasonable and was EXACTLY what they quoted. It s hard to imagine the other comments on here saying price was different. Just clarify before you do the work. It s as simple as that. I found them to be straight up.The reason I could not give full 5 stars was that when I picked the car up, the interior was filthy. Heavy dust, grease marks and even a crease (which I was able to massage out) in my leather seat. They came out and cleaned it but it made me wonder about how well they cared for the car for the 4 days they had it. I also had to bring it back to have some overspray buffed out. There is a tiny spot (about the size of a pointed felt tip marker) that was missed by paint but generally unnoticeable. Not much we can do about that now.These guys seem to care about their reputation and do a good job for NYC. They can be rough around the edges to deal with but they are trustworthy. I have dealt with Audi Brooklyn for 3 years and Malibu is FAR less likely to rip you off than they are! I m used to West Coast service which NOBODY in NYC could even dream about coming close to matching, but Malibu is the best I ve found in this town of lazy con artists.I would have given them 3 stars but I do believe they will take this feedback to heart and make sure they step up their final presentation game. They are straight up and worked hard with me on the price. I would use them again and that is all I can attest to.

Excellent service, caring people. I brought my car for repairs. They made repairs very quickly. They even helped me when the insurance sent a wrong check. They called them and got a new check and made them apologize to me. Thank you. Highly recommend!

Dropped off my car today with broken tailpipe. After checking it out, they brought me in, showed me what was wrong, and advised me that they would have to replace the entire muffler / tailpipe which would be expensive. They then advised me to take it to a muffler shop instead and they would be able to weld a new tailpipe on at a fraction of the cost. They charged me nothing for the diagnostic and told me exactly what to say at the muffler shop. Honest, fair and knowledgeable mechanics are hard to come by these days and I would trust them with any job on my car in the future. Thanks guys!!

The people who have claimed this place has good customer service and prices seem to be either bots, or relatives of the people who run this "shop". Customer service here is atrocious - they are rude, price-gouging, and not knowledgeable about car repairs - smoking cigarettes and standing around? They're tops at that. Save your money and go to a reputable place that has customer service at least a fraction better than an Alabama DMV with a broken AC

I was recommended Malibu by a friend and was very pleased with the service. We had them look at a few different things, but they said that only one warranted replacement. We were in and out pretty quickly, and the price was very reasonable.

Saved me $1750! Fast, professional and honest service. I brought my Volvo to a Volvo Manhattan dealer service and they quoted me $2200 in repairs. Malibu identified $1500 of unnecessary repairs, and the rest only cost me $450. I am very impressed.Especially considering that I asked for all the repairs the dealer suggested and Malibu chose not to bill for unnecessary work.Thank you Val and Arkadiy.

Absolutely ridiculous. Beware, ask and confirm what will be cost of repair otherwise you will be surprise. I mean really surprise. I don t know why people says reasonable price? They charge more than dealer. $90 labor for 1 hour 10 minuets job. I was dumb to go there and became fool. All these positive reviews are not real. Not going again.

Feb 2017 - Val was speedy and kind in helping me with a dead battery. I definitely recommend Malibu!Nov 2017 Update: I went to Malibu for a worrisome noise, and they took a look. I didn't end up needing any work, and there was no charge. Another good experience!June 2019 Update: This time I needed a new AC compressor. After getting the quote, I called an uncle who owns a repair shop out of state and he confirmed the price and solution was good. I still like this place.
