Best mechanic ever. Marcel is the absolute best. 1000% trustworthy wonderful human who shows you everything and explains it in detail, gives you the lowest rates possible and does a fantastic job. I don't live in the area anymore but still come here for all my work.

A friend recommended this shop and I was happy I took them up on the advice! Marcelo and Ivan fixed up my car and gave me a sense of what issues to watch out for in the future. My car was making squeaky noises. The first time they made repairs, not all the issues went away, so they took the car back in and fixed it up to the best possible shape it could be, and did it free of charge, as a courtesy. I am grateful!

Look no further!!! This is the place to take your car. Got a last min appointment after having issues with my Prius. I live in another city, so I was relieved to find a great place to bring my car near my family s house in Brooklyn. The issue was diagnosed, and turned out it s a recall part. Marcelo was so generous with his time & advice. Thanks very much!

Came here a few months ago when I was visiting my grandmother and broke down. The owner was great! He wasn't privy to my particular situation and recommended me to someone who was. He also allowed me to follow up with him after. The person he recommended was great! I would trust This shop with my car based off the willingness to help and succeed at doing such.

Marcelo is the greatest mechanic in NYC. There are times I went to get work done, he told me it was so simple I could do it then showed me how. When he does work his prices are fair. I have never felt I needed to negotiate. And I am a very frugal person.I have used his services numerous times and trust him more than I trust the dealership that made the vehicle. Long term customer. Good quality service, always fair and reliable. I would not consider bringing my 25 year old vehicle anywhere else. I am 2nd owner. Although I was prompted to update my prior review, it is still true. All I might add, is that they try to get your work completed as soon as possible.

Have gotten two oil changes here, affordable and quick with great service. I had a tire leak and they threw some air in it and recommended a great affordable tire shop down the block for a $10 patch. Had some check engine issues and talked through what the issue was, potential outcomes and fixes. Don't think I would go anywhere else for car service in this city. I would travel a significant distance just to get my car serviced here. Incredible customer service and high quality work at an affordable price.Service: Oil change

Marcelo is super competent and definitely the most trustworthy and honest mechanic you could meet. Even when the parts company once sent him a wrong part for our car, he took responsibility for it and made things right, at no small cost to himself.

Marcello and his team at Lucky Trade were fantastic; after a 7+ hr road trip, I had some severe issues with my car that he was able to diagnose almost right away. His explanations were thorough, and he offered to directly communicate with my BF, who is also in the industry. I much appreciated the value, quality of the work, and empathy of Marcello, overall, given my travel situation. I would give it way more than five stars if I could! A friend recommended I take my car to Marcello and after reading the positive reviews, I called and scheduled and arranged to bring it in. It was a great experience. Super clean, he took extra care to cover the seat and steering wheel, and fair prices, which were exactly what was stated over the phone. I found it to be very professional, with my records uploaded to carfax and I was emailed a detailed receipt. And Marcello was a pleasure. So happy to have a neighborhood shop for the future. Very easily recommended.

Lucky Trade is the most professional automotive shop in Brooklyn. I stopped taking my car to the dealer for repairs after visiting this shop. Marcelo treat you with respect, honest answer to your questions, and advice on needed repairs, no bs to sell you up add on like the dealership.

LADIES! LOOK NO FURTHER! I drove around for months with car trouble because I didn't want to be charged The Pink Tax. Marcello does not take advantage of no one even WOMEN. I felt comfortable at Hello. He takes his time and explain everything. Work is completed in a timely manner and customer service is A+ I will not hesitate to go back to him. You shouldn't either

My experience with Lucky Trade Automotive was superior. I walked in and they serviced me promptly. Marcelo came highly recommended to me by my coworkers. He and his crew did not disappoint He explains in details the work he has done for you and even show you the parts that he had to replace. Chaperone my daughter to this spot to get some work done on her car. A neighborhood location that was extremely professional, the proprietor was attentive, courteous, knowledgeable and handled the issues efficiently, expeditiously and at a reasonable cost! They also made a great recommendation for brand new quality tires at affordable prices. Lucky Trade Auto is a place to go for your auto repair needs.

A few years ago I went to lucky trade automotive to do a inspection. I found the service to be very professional since then they been serviceing my car good father and son garage, I should also acknowledge the team of worker Donald and Dean great guys. I always get value for my money and great service , the leadership and management of this company is excellent. I recommend this garage to my family and friends. Marcello great job you have the right attitude for this business

I only take my car to this place now. The prices are fair and the people who work here are honest. I got an oil change and he checked all of my fluids and showed me the work he did. It s my second time coming to Lucky for a rattling noise and he is about to help me even though I he s very busy. I love my car and it s my top pick of where to bring it.The guy who helped me was unbelievably kind, he didn t even charge me for a fix I needed and wouldn t accept money. I keep going back because on several different occasions Marcello has chosen to save me money rather than rip me off. Like showing me the different options for parts and explaining the price differences and not necessarily recommending the most expensive one.Recently he taught me how to change my cabin filter, insisting that I should know how to do it myself instead of paying him or anyone else to do something so simple.Also everyone who works there is respectful and as a woman this is very important.Of course most importantly they do great work! I highly recommend this place!

I needed to get my oil changed and saw the positive online reviews so I called and set an appointment. They were very accommodating and booked me an appointment right away. I have been using Lucky Trade Automotives for over 2 years and the quality of service is unmatched. He has proved that he's fair with his rates and let me know when I shouldn't spend unnecessary expenses on services on my auto didn't need. He's an honest mechanic and has saved me tons of money.
