NEVER EVER use this scumbags for car repairs if you don t want to be screwed over. When I had an accident Tony who arrived to tow my car refused to take it to the requested body shop and persistently begged me to take my car to his body shop promising a quick fix (max 2 weeks), high quality and a great customer care. But It took him over 2.5 months to fix a car door, and after all that time, stress and frustration he did a sloppy job (the door and window wouldn t close properly). When I asked him to fix it or return money so I could get it fixed in other body shop he verbally and physically assaulted me, provoking me to fight him. It was an awful experience, and I don t want anyone else to experience it. Don t fall in their trap, AVOID them at all cost.

Last night, I got a flat tire in Brooklyn, roadside assistance called KEM Auto. I was far from home, had my dog in the car and was in the middle of nowhere. Edwin arrived and right away made me feel at ease and like I could exhale. He was a gentleman, professional and helpful. He let me know what he was doing to the car before he did it and explained everything every step of the way. Today, he has called to let me know when my car left the place it was being held AND when it arrived at the service center. Everyone should have an employee like Edwin. He went above and beyond to make sure that I felt safe, was safe and had a plan to get home safe. My only complaint about Edwin is that he doesn't work in close proximity to me!! I truly appreciate all that Edwin did to help in my time of need yesterday and today.

They re nothing but hustlers in business. These people are liars and manipulators. This company tried to get money out of my road assistance insurance company after they canceled on me. They told my insurance I canceled on them and they still demanded money even though they didn t show up. I kept calling the owner and he kept lying about his eta and at the very last moment canceled on me. Nobody will get far without honest business. That s why they are always trying to rob people because they re just thinking for the moment instead of trying to build honest clientele.

Perry is the man! When I say he is an angel and a god send I am not lying. After getting a flat, going to a tire shop that was not able to help me wasn t enough and then having to wait 5 hours for my insurance company to get their information correct did they call this angel. The company called to assess the situation and be prepped so they weren t unprepared. Once Perry got there my panic was calmed down. He was very friendly and honestly down to earth. He treated me like I was his own family member and educated me on a lot since this was my first car situation. He gave me so many great tips and helped me save my money. He made my bad day into a good day and felt beyond comfortable and calm. This whole situation could have ended badly but with Perry and his expertise, knowledge of the area as well as his networking, this day ended on a happy note. I would def recommend contacting Goodyear Kem Auto Center and if you have a choice def ask for Perry. He will make your frown turn upside down!

Good guys. Stopped in for an oil change early in the morning. Dapper Moe at the desk was really polite and helpful. Perry the technician did my oil change also gave the car a visual look over and was very polite and honest. I appreciated the level of comfort . It felt like the old days when businesses cared about their customers. Thanks guys ! See you again

They went out of their way to make me feel welcome even though they were clearly busy. Those that believe the man at the front of was rude or harsh is probably not from New York and more specifically, Brooklyn. He is a little rough but at the same time, that is part of his charm. I was in and out in about 30 minutes with new tires. Later, I had a little trouble receiving an email response but it didn't bother me enough to ding their rating. You know these people are trying their hardest to run a business the best way we know how so go support local!!!

My car wasn't starting today i was left stranded, thankfully i was close to Kem auto center in Brooklyn, NOTE i live in Suffolk county so i had to get home which was a long way. Kem help me out well, i explained to him and he gave me a great price to fix my alternator. The worker was great also , i highly recommend this place. I normally don't write reviews but this is a well deserved 5 star.

The owner is Moe. He has been there for over 30 years. He had the parts that I needed. Was very courteous and polite. But here's the the kicker. I was in and out of there in record time. I thought my whole day was going to be shot but it wasn't. Truly awesome. Moe took more time doing the paperwork, than his mechanics fixing my van. What a pleasant experience , from a car shop Thanks Guys Ricardo

They took my car within a minute to change the flat tire. Personnel was cool and professional. Ive been taking my car for the state inspection to this place for several years. No complains!! Guys know what they are doing and they do their job well!

Main manager is irritated very easily. Has a bad temper. He should not be giving that bad attitude to customers when simply asked for a quote. If he asks me more questions to give me a more specific price range, he should just ask questions, car owners won't hide anything. I don t know what triggered him, but he acted like as if he deliberately wanted to scare away the customers. You might be having a bad day, but you shouldn t be spreading it to others. Do not recommend this place to get your car serviced. Bad relationship with a customer = terrible service to your car.

I had to use these guys for towing twice in one month! For my motorcycle. Totally reliable, punctual, friendly and nice during a stressful situation. Both times in downtown brooklyn during rush hour. I trusted them to deliver my bike to the shop without my escort. Highly recommend!

I met Anthony today because Geico dispatched him to tow my car. He was super helpful, calm and pleasant. He explained everything and I knew my car was in great hands. Thank you once again for everything and being super patient. Happy holidays once again.

Worst customer service ever! The old man in there has the worst attitude. It took 2 full grown dudes to put on 1 tire? And it wasn't even done properly, it took them over 30 minutes to change 1 tire, and i was buying 4 new tires. At the pace they were going it would've taken them over 2 hours to change all 4 tires smh! and they were still struggling! Freaking pathetic. You'd think you would get respect and treated fairly but that old man in there was miserable. Don't ever go in there

Do not pay any attention to the bogus negative reviews posted here. They are written by the other similar businesses in the area that can not compete with the level of service and professionalism provided by KEM.I am from the neighborhood and after having my car serviced by other auto shops in the area I feel I found an honest business man in Mo. I will only trust my older car in his hands.I had my car serviced a few weeks ago and it is running better now than it ever has.I now consider Mo a trusted friend.

Own an old beater car that recently needed a lot of work done. Pricing was very reasonable for all that I had replaced and it runs like a new car. Had a strange problem with my brakes too and they've been nothing but helpful in troubleshooting the issue. The owner Moe stands behind his work, worth going here!

Exceptional service!!!Kem was dispatched to me through my insurance tow service.Anthony showed up and immediately it was obvious he was a pro, and a car guy.He was taking my 64 F100 on a long trip. He secured my truck 100%. He used straps. He totally understood that is way more then just a truck to me. He took care of it like it was his own.Anthony, you re a true professional!Thomas Bambury

Went to KEM for brakes, tire rotation, and a couple of other minor things. After having talked to a few places, I'd gotten some pretty steep quotes, and couple of non-specific ballpark figures, and one place who was supposed to call me back and never did. KEM gave me a good price on the spot and provided friendly, courteous service from beginning to end, and got the job done quickly. Glad I looked them up, will return for future needs and recommend the same for you.

Needed to get my annual inspection, 4th of July weekend, and everything went smooth like butter on hot toast! The inspection took all of 10 minutes, the mechanics were pleasant and polite, and Moe was terrific in accommodating me. Thanks, Moe!

Don't even go and ask him for any service because he will charge you for every word he says. He charged me only for a boost up battery $32 and the car was across the street. $32 to jump-start my car with a battery and bring it to his shop from across the street. The owner tries to rip you off, he has an attitude, he is rude, unprofessional and he doesn't know anything about customer service at all. I would not recommend it to anyone. Worst car service I have ever been to. I recommend not going there.

I moved to New York in 2016, and was a little skeptical about having anyone look at my car but I found this place and the people here are really nice very, explain things in detail give you options, but if you are willing to wait you can get stuff done that same day you just need to give them at least 3 to 4 hours depending on how big the job is sometimes it might take 6 if it's something that they need to order a part for but will try to get that same day. They're really willing to work with you and try to help you out as best as they can. I'm thankful and fortunate I found this group of people to help me out with my car, which I definitely have come in more than three times they do take Goodyear cards which I sometimes use. It is about a 40-minute drive fot me to come here and there's many shops in between, but for me it's worth the drive, ask for Moe he'll help you out, and while you're waiting you can always watch TV on one of their couches.

I have been using Kem/Goodyear Autocenter for many years. As a born and raised Brooklynlite I have many choices when it comes to having my car fixed. I choose to continue to use Kem/Goodyear because every single repair I've done with them has never needed to be fixed a second time. To me that is the sign of a shop that knows what they're doing. The owner Moe has always given me an excellent price and when I've compared their prices with friends who have had similar work done at other repair centers, I know I'm getting a great value for my dollar. What stands out most to me is the many times I've gone in for something that ended up being minor, such as having a blown fuse or when I heard a funny noise coming from under my car which ended up being a loose mudflap rubbing on the wheel. These times Moe took care of me and said "no charge" because it was something so minor. With so many places trying to get every dollar out of every customer, it's a breath of fresh air to be taken care of and told "no charge". It makes me appreciate the fact that they appreciate me as a customer and are looking to develop an ongoing relationship with me and not trying to get every dollar out of my wallet. Lastly I have to say that the mechanics working for them have been friendly and have answered all my questions without making me feel awkward or intimidated. It's nice to feel that it's ok to ask anything I want because in my past experiences with other shops I've felt like I was spoken down to and that's not the way to treat any customer in any business. So if you're looking for a repair shop in Brooklyn give Kem/Goodyear a try and I think you'll be like me and be very happy with the service you receive, the value you get for your dollar and the end result when your car is returned to you.

We were promised tow truck in 90 minutes, the dispatcher lied that tow truck is stuck in traffic and it would be extra hour. When insurance company called them to follow up, they lied that we were in a restricted area and he cancelled service. Two different stories to two different parties, scammers and liars. Don t ever use this company

I bought tires online for the company KEM auto center to chnage the tires for me, but suprisinlgy the company was closed which caused me to loose five buisness days. I don't reccomend this company to change your tires.

I like these guys in general. They do what you need them to and they are competitive to other repair shops. I would recommend the shop to others. Service I ve done with them are:Annual inspectionBreak repairOil changeAll of them were performed as expected. I have no bad experience so far.

I walked in to request auto care services. The old gentleman at the front desk had very poor customer service experience. He did not care to let me explain or listen to my car issue. Instead, he mocked and laughed at me. It was a big waste of time. It might be for you too. Beware.

this is in response to the review made by Mykhailo Tkach.we at KEM AUTO CENTER performed a rotate tire service at the charge $19.95 which is a normal rate to be charged! what is really this customers review complaint? (people usually pay services rendered and tip is up to customer discretion) a rotation of tires is not a job that is paid by tips!in response to Ray L...what additional charges were issued? could it be that there were other problems with your vehicle that you werent aware of? please be more specificin response to DIANE she called us over the phone wanting to know if we would honor the goodyear coupon ad for oil change so i said to her please read off what it shows due to the fact that if the car has a cartridge OIL filter its extra because the part is more expensive and harder to install and not at any time did she mention did it show tire rotation and this coupon was read through goodyear on her android phone device. we treated her with respect and performed the services she asked for and almost close to cloing time she tried to show me other goodyear coupons which had tire rotation among it but it was also for $5 additional which customer did not want to pay! we feel that we did nothing wrong except give her what she wanted and good service! what business she has with corporate stores i did not call them to verify but it really doesnt matter. As far as her tpms system she never mentioned to us that she wanted us to check it outand she came at a time where the shop wouldve been closing at the time that we finsihed the service.

sorry, just don't go, don't go. they wasted my time for 2 hrs and asked $100 for nothing. they might know how to change the tires but they don't know how to fix the cars. the old man sits at the counter ,his name is moe ,he is sneaky, be careful.

They helped me figure out whats wrong with my car. Initially he thought it was the tire that was making my ride bumpy on my front driver side . But then figured it was the wheel thats a bit bent. Didn't take long. Reasonable price for diagnosing the issue. Would come again
