Our car stopped working on a Sunday. We called, and were told to just have it towed to the place.Neil fixed it and was very professional.He kept us up to date about the issue and progress, and explained cause and remedy.Highly recommended !

Joes is the best!! Been seeing him with my 1997 Chevy for over a year now. Had to get a tow for my car twice this year and joes was always available to receive it. Honest and efficient guys. Highly recommend.

My car started overheating on the GW bridge after driving to the city from Upstate. I found this garage on Google and called because of the great reviews. Neil told me to come by and he d be happy to have a look. Five minutes later I was at the shop. Ten minutes later he had ordered a part and told me he d have it repaired in two hours. When I came back to pick up the car, Neil walked me through everything he did and explained his recommendation for next steps with my local mechanic. He was professional, thorough and friendly, and the price was absolutely reasonable. The car ran GREAT on my drive home and I m so grateful Neil took the time out of his day to fit in my car s repair. Cannot recommend more highly!

I have been using Joe s corner for many many years. I first found this place-when I got into an accident about more than 15 years ago on the corner there and needed extensive body work. They did a great job. I have been going there ever since for service and body work. Neil and his team especially Diego have worked on many of my cars. Neil the owner is one of the nicest guys and the absolute best mechanic shop around. Honest, fair and to the point. I let no one else touch my car. Highly recommend Joe s corner for any service or body work. Just ask for Neil. You will not be disappointed.

Ok, as a dad of 14 year boy there s lots of lessons to teach your kid one of them is when you find a mechanic that is good to you a mechanic that wants and needs your business and wont make up work you don t need on your car, keeps you safe on the road and not charge for time he didn t use or work he didn t do, you keep that mechanic in your life. This is one you keep in your family.Im almost regretting writing this review because i want him to be available for me and now hell be so busy with all of you.Well he deserves to be busy, not many honest guys out there.Very happy with him.

Had my inspection completed with my car also had the engine bay cleaned up and he did a great job !! Fast and courteous staff will definitely will return thanks !!

This is the best mechanic in NYC. I ve lived in Williamsburg for 20 yrs and I seriously regret not bringing my jeep here earlier. I brought my 2001 Jeep Cherokee in with brake issues, steering problems and no AC. I booked the appointment through their app ( yes they have an app!) I thought I d need a new compressor but these guys were able to repair the existing one which saved me quite a bit. They tuned the steering which has never felt better as long as I ve owned the jeep. Same with the brakes. I m really impressed by the work and how professional these guys are. Very fair and transparent with pricing. App is great. I just wish I found them earlier. Came for state inspection.I asked him if he is available, he stopped working on a car and came out to inspect my car.He did check brakes and all the necessary requirements but everything took less than 15 minutes.Super fast. Super convenient!

Neil was on point in every way. He's very much a straight talker and to the point. He told me what was needed and how long it would take and he kept to that. I showed up and the work was done on time and with great quality (I had rusted screws in the frame and needed to remove them without damaging the body work).Overall, he did a great job. Timely and accurate. Had my car ready sooner than he said and given the objective and work, the price was fair. I'd happily go there again.Service: Body & Trim

It appears that this shop is somehow connected to Tony's Auto Repair, as it is situated just one block away. (You can refer to the one-star Google review I left for them.) Based on my personal experience, I strongly discourage anyone from using this shop or Tony's Auto Repair, especially in the case of an emergency like a brake hose burst, which I encountered on June 6, 2023. Choosing these establishments may result in higher expenses than necessary.

Great auto shop. I've specifically worked with Neil when I take my car here. He's very nice, respectful, honest and professional. Everything is always done on time and with no shortcuts taken. The owner is one of the nicest, most genuine and honest people in the neighborhood. The problem I had was an easy fix so he sent me off without charging a penny, even though he could have since I didn't have the knowledge to do it myself. Other one star reviews are obviously of another shop by the same name. Take those out and you've got 5 stars across the board. Normally going to a mechanic is a chore and drains me of all happiness, but the interactions here always leave me in a brighter mood.

Neil is very nice, honest and accommodating. I went to complete my NYS inspection and he let me know right away my tints were too dark. I came back after taking off the tints and he said 30 mins, it was 30 mins. Prices were discussed upfront and no surprises at the end. Would definitely come againBtw: they do not open at 8am, at least not on Thursdays.

All other auto body shops said I needed to get a whole new bumper- Neill and team fixed it without replacing the part. I'm so grateful <3 <3 amazing service and attention to detail!

I've been going to Joe's for more then 10 years. Neil's had numerous chances to get the best of me. He hasn't. Not once did I ever feel he did. I drop my car off and never once ask him how much the repair would cost. Neil has my complete trust as an Auto Repair mechanic which I'm sure many people wish they had. I have a hard time finding a mechanic - my first job out of high school was as a mechanic in a busy European shop and I worked there for years before going back to college. Even today, I mostly work on my own cars. Almost every time I go to a mechanic I regret it - always seems like they are trying to prey on ignorant customers and sell work you don't need.However, Joe's is different. As I have gotten older I don't have the strength (or enthusiasm) to crawl around on the concrete working on my own cars. So I've started going to Joe's for maintenance and repair needs when I'm in the city. He's done a few oil changes, some brake pads on a couple of my cars, and even a set of ball joints on a vintage Range Rover I have. Every time the work has been completed quickly, accurately and honestly. I always recommend my friends go here for anything they need.

Joe is a very nice person to talk too and honest! He explained all the work he did to my car and the prices was good. He also gave me the option if I wanted to go somewhere else.Then I had another problem with my car but I decided not to continue the work and he didn't charged me anything for looking into that problem & he also let me parked my car till I got it juck. With no additional fee! I'm so grateful for his help.I surely recomend him to everyone!!!

Neil the owner is honest, fast, and can work with your budget. All those are hard to find in one mechanic in Brooklyn. Not only does repairs but inspections and oil changes too.

My husband dropped off our car because there was a problem with the clutch. It was fixed and we picked it up only to have the same problem occur a day or two later. We dropped it off again and the mechanic stated, after 1 week of us being without a car , that he could not find the part. My husband went online and ordered the part and took it to the shop. We were told it would be less than hr, my husband dropped it off at 8 am and when he went to pick it up before work at 1pm, was told it wasnt ready! The mechanic did not know how to connect the wire... ONE WIRE.... and because of this mishap my husband was late to work! After 7 hours, for a 1 hr job it was finally completed.This shop has horrible service! Our family was inconvenienced for two and half weeks dealing with this place! This is extremely unacceptable and upsetting! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in this area!!!

Call Nir to make an appointment for NY inspection. Fast. $37 maybe a bit on high side on avg but quick and convenient on a Sunday.

I have had Neil as my mechanic for almost ten years.The most important thing you need when repairing your car is to be able to deal with someone you trust. Sure you want the mechanic to be proficient in his work but that alone is not enough.There has never been a time with Neil that I felt that he does not have my best interest in mind.Every visit, and unfortunately because I had an old car, there were quite a few, was one where Neil used his expertise to figure out exactly what the car needed.No more no less.And though car repair can be prohibitively expensive, never did I feel that I was being overcharged.The saying goes, you get what you pay for.Neil is a technician's technician where he will figure out exactly what'she wrong where others only hazard to guess what is the problem.Moreover, as a person who is proud of his work, he is happy when I am satisfied for my sake; and not just for his own success in making the appropriate repair.Joe's corner is Williamsburg's little secret. Don't confuse it with other shops of the same or similar name. This one is on the corner of Metropolitan and Meeker, also accessible from North 6th Street.Tell your friends, but don't tell too many of them. I don't want my quick service to disappear any time soon.

Had a great experience here with getting an inspection done. I was told would be about a 45min wait once I arrived. I ended up waiting about 10-15mins. When does that ever happen?? Thanks for the quick service. And my son enjoyed the candy.

Having gone there inadvertently because of overheating on Highway above, the welcome was disarming. Neal who took care of me was reassuring understanding and supportive. He resolved my problem and advised on future repairs.While somewhat expensive and unanticipated I walked away satisfied and convinced I had made a new friend.

I did lots of research before coming to see Joe s, as I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of his reviews - So, I gave him the benefit of the doubt.I have been having some electrical problems in my 2005 Subaru as well as a locked door that won t open at all. I mentioned this issues to them and was told that I will be charge at least $300 to fix the door and at least $600 to fix the electrical problem. How? I don t know, I think they have x-ray vision to be able to look at the car from a far and quote me blindly like that. So, I naturally can sense this guys bad-joo-joo and walked away. I thought I d share this with everyone as well.

I've given them over $10,000 worth of work and the other reviews are spot on. sub par work on beaters, no problem. I used to take an old volvo to them, but even that old piece of junk they took over $2k from me replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced when all I had was a corroded connection to the turbo. When I brought in a car recently that I care about to have the brakes replaced with a simple bolt on kit they mangled my new bigger brakes kit beyond recognition to make them fit the wheels and slathered paint on them to hide their f'd up work, getting red paint all over the car. To add insult to injury, they refused to reimburse me for their work or the parts they destroyed. I will never go back and I'm filing a complaint with the DMV. Buyer beware for sure.

Stupid M F didn't grease the sliding pins on my break so the break that where installed in this shop on Dec 10 2017 . Wasted May 17 2018 . I almost crashed because these M.F only care about making money and not truly find out what's wrong with the car . I wouldn't recommend a person I hate to this place . The 350 dollar job they did on my brakes cost me dam near 1500 to fix . All because he didn't put a couple of dollars worth of grease on my breaks . Don't go to them they make things worst .
