Came here for a inspection last year with no issues. This year they kept saying the computer is down so I gave up on my third attempt. Honestly just seemed like they just didn t want to do it. They used to be nice but really rude now. What a shame

Came here for an inspection. I was told the inspection system was down all over. Went down the block to Meineke who performed the inspection without an issue. Next time just be honest and say you don t want to be bothered. Won t come back here again.

The gentleman I spoke with was beyond rude. I simply asked if they could do an oil change and I got two words out of him, No and No then just ignored me, don t waste your time here, he s standing there in the picture for reference.

Took my car here for inspection and an oil change, the standard things. Mike and Anibel were great! They were quick, communicative and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this shop!

Called on weekday morning to request NYS inspection availability, & they were able to take me around 2pm same day, as promised. Waited mere minutes for inspection. Reasonably priced. In & out extremely quickly. Very satisfied!Service: Vehicle safety inspectionService: Vehicle safety inspection

My battery died while I was getting gas at the Sunoco right next to the shop- one of the mechanics, Anibel, immediately walked up and offered to jump the car. He got it running and then saw my check engine light was on, had me pull to the side, and got out the diagnostic thing out and figured out the issue with my engine/battery and gave me advice on when I should go back to a mechanic, and cleared the car s computer to get the check engine light to resolve (it was leftover from a prior repair where they didn t clear it after).All this just to help me out, took 10 minutes, didn t charge me anything. Will be bringing the car back- great guy

Brought my car here for an annual emissions test after reading all the good reviews. Anibel was friendly, humble & went above & beyond to help when he noticed I had my registration sticker in the wrong spot. He was quick & efficient. I was able to put my clothes in the washing machine & get my car inspected just in time to put them in the dryer! Stop looking. This the one.

I don t often write reviews but I am so pleased with my experience at SNJ that I wanted to publicly thank them. Another, very reputable auto shop quoted me $3k for work that turned out to be unnecessary. Called these guys in a panic, came in an hour later, and car was ready next day. They saved me over $2k. They were very communicative and upfront and I am so grateful! Car s working great!

This is a small 2-car workshop nestled next to Sunoco gas station. No waiting area. No coffee. But they were clear up front, priced fair, & worked fast. Did what they said in the timeframe they said it would be done. Fast Car inspections and every other engine work you need under the hood. All the details up front. No BS on the back-end. When need work done on your car, that's the best you can ask for! Very grateful for my positive experience.

Great great service!! Went in for an oil change on Monday before my Woodbury mall trip and Anibal was amazing. He took wonderful care of me and my car. Great customer service skills! Will def go back and will refer friends and family!Thanks Anibal! Stay awesome!!!

This place is a hidden gem I went to get my car Inspection done. The price was EXTREMELY reasonable .The gentleman was SO helpful. He told me the price I didn't have cash on me so I went to the ATM across the street by the time I came back my car was ready!!! If you need any work done to your car just go here ... I know I am!

Incredibly honest! I had a problem with my Volvo XC90 that they initially though would involve replacing the part, which I had agreed to. After further inspection they realized that there was a much cheaper solution. They could have easily charged me for the part but they didn't. On top of that they did a great job in a timely manner. Top notch team!

I trusted the stellar reviews and came here for my NYS inspection and an oil change. I received zero customer service. I wasn t even acknowledged as I pulled in, and it is not clear what customers should do. There was a worker on his cellphone who didn t even look at me but instead motioned at me with his hand and went back to his call. I left for a better customer experience elsewhere.

I called the number to check the best time to inspect my car. The guy on the phone was very nice and told me I can t leave the car but they started from 8am. I went 40 minutes later and inspection was faster than I expected. I will recommend this place

As a new Brooklyn resident it has been challenging adjusting to the registration, inspection, and traffic laws. The owner was very knowledgeable and helped me come into compliance. I am relieved to know that there are people in this city who are generous with information and referrals!

It was in and out for an oil change. Great efficient service. I barely waited and there were other cars in front of me. Seems like many cars come here for quick maintenance. The guys working there were kind and attentive.

S&J told me I needed a new Wiper off of visual inspection. Which was helpful; got it on my own. They told me they take credit card Which was a plus. Precision 1454 Atlantic told me I needed a license plate light bulb or they d fail me SMH. They told me they don t take credit card and made me run in the snow to the nearest ATM because I couldn t use my own car.

I've trusted this family-owned business with all 3 of my family's autos since 2002. Repairs have been immediate and at very reasonable cost. You do have to pay for your own coffee though.

SNJ was very professional. My waiting period was very short and the service was excellent. The staff were also very friendly. I highly recommend this location for inspection and other services. Will definitely return.

Super friendly repair shop. I went in for a NYS auto inspection. They took me in right away. I was done in 15 minutes which included them putting it on the lift and visually checking under the car. A+

I got my NY state inspections done here. They are attached to the Sunoco gas station. There was a 30min wait but other than that- all was smooth and fast.

Anibel is your guy! I came here for an inspection and he was quick, straightforward, all around great experience. Look no further and don t waste your time elsewhere!
