Mike and his team at Chelsea Auto are wizards! The magically transformed my vintage car that had heavy front end damage into a showroom gem. It was incredible to watch the craftsmanship, the attention to detail, including researching the original factory code color. Shout out to Ami from Alfa Motors that helped source original parts, including a whole new nose. Fantastic work. I had some Cosmetic damage From somebody hitting my car while it was parked. Michael was able to take it in on the same day, get it turned around really quick. Even buffed up some scratches on my headlight that were unrelated.Can t imagine going anywhere else.

I searched for months for a auto body shop to get my car fixed after being side swiped. I was referred to Mike at Chelsea auto diagnostics and let me just say! I will be a forever customer!. Mike and his dad Vinny are so honest, genuine and humble people. Mikes affordable pricing and outstanding work will always have me come back. Mike and his team held themselves with the upmost respect and professionalism. Now I don t drive any fancy car but after telling Mike exactly what I wanted to get done. He was honest to tell me that most of the work was unnecessary which I appreciate and goes to show his not in it for the money but instead his customers happiness with their vehicle also because it saved me money lol (Thanks Mike). However, I am head over heels about my car again. The paint job was done perfectly and the dents were removed. You can t even tell I was side swiped. I highly and strongly recommend Mike and his team at Chelsea auto diagnostic. They don t only do auto body work. Mike and his crew are awesome! Trustworthy, reliable, reasonable, fairly priced and fantastic results. I had been hit in the front fender and gotten 4 bids for repair. 3 out of 4 were within the same range (including Mike s), so I went with Chelsea Auto Diagnostic & body since I already had 2 reliable recommendations for him. The other driver s insurance covered the repair, and Mike was prompt and responsive with what was required from his end regarding the claim. Not only did he do a perfect job with the restoration, he went above and beyond polishing the headlamps, deep cleaning my rims, even vacuuming the inside. A pleasure to deal with, easy to communicate with, and a business I will return to should I ever have the need!

Been coming here for three years now, for tuneups and major repairs. Always honest service, quick turnaround, and a fair price. Never going anywhere else for my Nissan Juke. Mike is a old school good dude, but is super responsive on his phone. Hard to find combination. Could not recommend more.

Don t go here big unprofessional people working there. They have just big mouth and don t know how to talk with customers. When you talk with Mike he can not talk normally and he calls his father for help. They only know how to charge from insurance money and just screw up the bumpers

These guys are friendly, helpful, and most importantly honest. I went in for an insurance claim (body work) Mike and his crew couldn t have been easier to work with. The work they did was great and done quickly. Looks like a new car.

I had a bad scratch on my car and needed quick turn around time for repair. I have a pearl white vehicle so the paint job is a bit more detailed. I received my car back in perfect condition and less than 36 hours thanks to the team at Chelsea Auto. THANK YOU SO MUCH, would definitely recommend.

My car was idling pretty rough. Mine was very careful in diagnosing what was wrong with the car and once they found the issue, the repair time was only a few days. Mike and the boys do great work, my 2008 hybrid runs like a dream after they helped replace a battery and change the break pads/rotors. Good service, and fast. Highly recommend.

My car broke down on 7/3 (everything was closed for the holiday). Mike was the only one that answered, assisted me over the phone to help me find a spot to park for a few days until they were open. Mike went out of his way, gave me a direct number and helped every step of the way. My steering was fixed in one day, cost was very fair. 10 out 10 score, I would recommend Mike and his team over anybody in the area.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I stumbled upon this place 6 years ago for a quick fix and have been going there ever since. I live on Long Island and work in Brooklyn whenever I need something done Mike and his father Vinny are the guys to get it done. They do it quickly and will give you the best price! On the outside it looks like a cab service garage but they also work on personal cars. Good quality work and fast service. These guys work hard and are honest dudes. I ve spent a lot of time with Mike just hangin around and getting to know them and I m happy to call him my friend. He s helped me with so many dings, bumps and scratches on my personal car and work car. They ve gone above and beyond for me and that s rare in this business. If your looking for fast quality work from good guys stop in and see Mike or his dad Vinny they ll hook you up and send you on your way. Great shop guys !!!

Brought in my 1981 pickup for a little body work, removing rust and repainting. Not only did these guys do absolutely PERFECT work, and not only did they charge me a super fair and reasonable price, but they had the body and paint done in less than one business day. I've been extremely lucky to stumble upon Chelsea Auto Diagnostic! By mere chance I choose them, out of the many other Auto Repair Shops that I was considering at the time. Mike delivered an exemplary service! My car was in need of dent removal and scratch removal and it was done in less than 24 hours at a price lower than I expected! If I ever need any other work done on my current car or any car that I may own in the future I will certainly pay Mike a visit. His honesty and dedication to customer service is one of a kind!

I really enjoyed the service in this shop. Mike and his assistant Vlad did everything to make my experience better. The job was done quickly with no issues, they fixed my bumper and polished front end of the car. This is not all, they also cleaned the car inside and outside. I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

These guys always try to find the best solution for the customer. I just bought a car and right after that I had a small accident. I checked another places out, and everywhere I was told that my bumper needed to be changed which could easily cost me $2000. And only for Michael and his team it wasn't a problem to fix my bumper and now it looks like brand new.Awesome quality, people and attitude. They are doing their business, but they think about people and their interests as well. It was the best experience.

After my car was stolen and eventually found, it needed a lot of crucial repairs. Mike was able to find all the replacement locks and parts... for a 32 yr old car! He also repaired all the exterior damage, even cleaned the engine! And finished with a flawless paint job. His stellar reviews are well-deserved! Thank you Mike & Crew. Many Thanks, Lois.

Just bought a car from a different place where major repairs were necessary that had not previously been disclosed or fully detected. Mike said not to worry. They took care of the intake manifold (a big engine job), plus got my windshield fluid to again spritz up on the windshield, removed the residue of an earlier owner's being side-swiped on the front passenger side bumper, and removed tint from the two front windows. At the end of it all, he was happy to have helped me - and for a very reasonable price (and you can add a few 'verys' to that). Helped turn a bad situation around. After unhelpful and rude responses from multiple other shops, I was recommended Chelsea Auto. They really took care of me. Extremely kind, thorough, and prompt. Gave me a good price and my car was back to me, perfectly fixed, in less than two days. Highly recommend! I ll be going back.

TL; DR: I'd give 5.5 stars if I could!Our minivan blew out two tires while in the Battery Tunnel. The awesome TBTA cops and maintenance crew quickly had us towed out of the tunnel and deposited the van just outside the tunnel (Brooklyn side).The Chelsea shop was about 100 yards away, and Mike--the co-owner--said he could replace our tires in about 90 minutes and quoted me a price. The price was for new tires (not used) and for name-brand...so I cancelled my request for help from AAA.Mike was friendly (offered to let me sit in the air conditioned office and gave directions on where to get great food) and took great care of everything. When the wrong tires were delivered, he quickly made his father (!) get the right tires. And the van was back on the road within the time span Mike had promised.While Mike could have taken advantage of an out-of-state family with an undrivable vehicle, he didn't. He and his crew got to work immediately, and the price of the tires and installation was reasonable.Service: Tires

Whether it s regular maintenance to my suspension or body and paint repairs, the work is always professional and done right and for the best price around. WARNING THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW: I ve known these guys for some years now and so far all the work they ve done for me has been high quality and for a low price. I also would like to say that they are not like most shops that would tell you what day your car will be ready and it s not, from my experience with these guys they ve had my car ready on the day they said it would be if not earlier. Keep up the fantastic work!.. wish you guys nothing but the best!!!!!
