Top quality motorcycle shop. They know their bikes and have years of experience with the vehicles. I just purchased my Kawasaki 650 and I feel like their service was above and beyond what you normally get when purchasing a vehicle. They truly care because they made it their business ask me about my riding experience and to see that I got home safely. Cruiser or sport bike, they have it all and the best riding gear for safety and style available. I ll be back for a Boulevard

I bought my first bike here and Sean was super attentive during negotiations and getting back to me via text and email. We had the deal nailed down before I even got there, which was really relieving. I was coming from Pennsylvania as they were the nearest shop that had the Royal Enfield Signals 350 I wanted. They really rep RE well there and I highly recommend going to see their showroom upstairs, which was sizable. I had no idea the place had that much room, but with an elevator they really were able to expand what appears to be a smaller shop from the outside, especially considering it's in NYC. Situated next to an el track, this place really has a great corner spot. Sean assisted my dad and I with our U-Haul moto trailer and helped strap it up correctly and get us out of the door with everything we needed. It felt like a busy day in the shop with repairs, but Sean made every effort to keep checking in and walked the bike out with us. It was a 4 hour journey through some awful traffic and getting there was a blessing in itself, so it was nice that we got a warm welcome. He showed us the shop and other bikes as well, which were really shined up and impressive. I imagine it's tough to find niche shops like this even in a big city, but this has to be one of the coolest you could find. Everyone inside was kind and friendly and they were excited to see me on my first motorcycle. My only gripe was that when I got home I had the Meteor manual in the bag instead of the Classic 350. Sean had also promised some free Royal Enfield swag for us and that didn't come right away - I had to call to remind them to send me the proper manual. Sure enough, when I called in a nice shop employee wrote down the information and a week later the RE shirts arrived and a month later, the manual arrived too. My guess is that it had to come from India since the other manuals were likely spoken for by the bikes in the store respectively, I just wish I had gotten that stuff sooner. Still, even almost a year after purchase, the store and staff came through on their promises. I also imagine that wheeling and dealing takes attention off the little things like that on a daily basis, so I probably got lost in the mix. This was a fun shop and I fully intend one day to make a trek back up there. They offer a discount on a apparel if you buy from them, which is very cool. If you enjoy the retro style bikes, this is a perfect spot to see some, but they had the high performance and street bike styles there too. Go check it out!

Great solid place in the heart of Brooklyn for power sports. They have exclusive bikes, great relationships with manufacturers, extensive selection & they live and breathe this power sports lifestyle. You don t know riding until you ve purchased a brand new bike from this place. Not to mention they have great relationships with banks and lenders. They can get almost anyone approved. Don t tell them I said that though. Also ask to check out their upstairs inventory. If you see Sean yell Yankees for an added bonus.Been doing business with them for about 4 years. I appreciate the personal one on one guidance, care and service I receive from the entire team here. Contrary to the negative reviews this place is legendary. In closing you pay for quality. There s a reason there aren t many other power sports shops in the general area. Much love to Brooklyn Mayd! Legal, registered and certified. Sean is the man! Super attentive and knowledgable, he got me a brand new bike built and on the road in less than 24 hours. Even gave me a quick lesson as a new rider and offers a free service after a few hundred miles. Can't recommend this shop enough. Definitely not the cheap option, but you're paying for quality here.

I'm happy to finally have a bike again to enjoy from beginning to end now this year. Thanks to BrooklynMayd. Shaun and the staff are really friendly and approachable. It was an easy process. I wish I had gotten to see my bike getting prepped before pick up but Shaun walked me through everything. Super cool guy super cool owner. Very inviting. Really wants to make you feel like you're part of something more, than just a sale. As a rider he wants to make sure you feel good about your purchase from him and have everything you need to enjoy riding and ride safely. Down to earth staff in Mike and Roxy. I look forward to doing group rides with Brooklyn Mayd Powersports hopefully very soon.

I had a really amazing experience buying a bike here. They made sure everything was perfect and before they dropped it off they gave me some lessons. Made sure i was safe on the bike before bringing it home. When the guy, harold, dropped it off, he even did a few things with me too. Sean was incredible, very caring, and overall an amazing salesman/person. Definitely coming here for anything i need with my bike.

These guys absolutely saved a trip I had planned. The morning we were meant to leave, I got a flat on the way to my friends house. Having a super have ADV tire on the bike and not trusting our ability to change the tube in a timely manner, I rockets over to the shop with the wheel in tow. They squeezed me into the shop schedule ASAP, and my friend and I were able to keep our trip on schedule with just a slight delay.Everyone working here was gracious and friendly. I cannot recommend them enough.

As a person who has owned motorbikes for the last 20 years I can say, Mayd Powersports, is the best one I have ever dealt with. Starting with Sean, the owner, super professional guy, with a high level of customer service approach. The same goes for the rest of the team, everyone was toned to my needs and wishes, which I truly appreciate. In other words, 5 stars, best dealership.

Update: Dec. 12, 2020There aren't enough words to describe the level of quality, compassion, and care that Sean and the Brooklyn Mayd crew gives to everyone. The genuine level of respect and outstanding customer service is second-to-none, by far the best you will ever find from any mechanics shop out there. I truly do appreciate the Brooklyn Mayd family and value their hard work and passion that they put forth, into making sure that every detail of your motorcycle is serviced, inspected, and detailed. You don't find a lot of people that have that quality trait within them or their work. Working with other shops, I've seen what bad and terrible truly looks like. You won't go wrong here. He recently did a tune & tune-up in my bike as a good measure of customer service. Couldn t ask for more

Sean and Lucas were super helpful, clean shop and they were very straightforward. Made buying my bike very painless and they did not try to push anything on me. Had a small issue with my bike out the gate and they immediately resolved it. Nice guys, good shop, very happy with the purchase and experience.

I ve had numerous bikes and been to many shops. This is by far the worst. Refused to give me a quote before working on the bike, overcharged me, kept the bike for over a month, and didn t even do all the repairs.Customer service and communication couldn t be worse. I literally don t have a positive thing to say about my experience. If you want to get ripped off, subpar repairs, and horrible customer service, this is the place for you.

My experience at Brooklyn Mayd was top notch. Sean and his team eased me through the purchase of my motorcycle. The service was awesome. They answered all my questions. Their inventory of bike choices as well as gear and supplies was also excellent. I highly recommend.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU IF YOU LACK KNOWLEDGE IN REPAIR SERVICE AND IF THEY DON'T KNOW YOU. THIS is in no way an advice, it's based solely on my experience with them.I think They have 2 google accounts, this and another with a different name, because their rating is lower now, and I am able to do another review instead of modifying, so don't be fooled, and most comments in one says the same thing I experienced.AGAIN, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. They only do right by people they know. These people will steal from you, if they think you don't know anything about mechanical problems.They quoted me for less than $1900 for the service; I can't remember the exact amount (check their other account for exact amount and more details because I am keeping this one shortso people can read it). They stole my $500 cash deposit since I forgot to get a receipt. They modified the paper for the requested service after I signed it to add that I agreed to pay over $6800 and that I agreed to move forward with repair. I could have bought a car with this instead, but I had to pay, so that I don't get in trouble with the Army for not paying. They gave me a military discount.Seriously, They charged me over $6000 to service my motorcycle, and they did not replace not one part. The part prices were over 500 % higher when I looked them up and by comparison with the price the new mechanics charged me, $1199.86 including labor PLUS THEY FIXED THE ENGINE LEAK THAT Brooklyn Mayd caused, included.They may have stolen my speedometer cable, since I don't have proof and they had left it in the street for me to pick up because they would not hold it one more day, however they were the one not ready when they asked me to pick up and I had time, so I am not certain what happened to it.

Best shop in Brooklyn. When it comes to Harley repairs, you pay for what you get. This shop does not cut corners and pays attention to all the details. Sean and the guys are top notch and know their stuff. I brought in my bike completely dead and they ran diagnostics, replaced the stator, rectifier, battery, gaskets, etc. They are not cheap, but worth every penny. They re always busy, so be patient.

I recently took my bike in for front and rear tire replacements. The team did a fantastic job with the tire swap, but there was a hiccup with the rear valve stem, which got damaged during the process.The owner, Sean, stepped right in and went above and beyond to make things right. He not only fixed the valve stem problem but also gave my bike a thorough once-over and even washed it.Talk about attention to detail! Sean's dedication to customer satisfaction and his meticulous approach really stood out. It's reassuring to know there are professionals who take pride in their work and go the extra mile to ensure everything's perfect.Thanks, Brooklyn Mayd Powersports, I'll be back for all my motorcycle needs. Easily one of my top 10 favorite places. Sean, Roxy and the Brooklyn Mayd team are the only people in NYC I trust to work on my 1980 Yamaha.He even went out of his way to help me in a bout with the insurance company after a person ran into my bike. AND still fixed it up for a steal! They look out for their own at Brooklyn Mayd; I don't think I'll be taking my business anywhere else.Did I mention that Sean also did the paint job on the bike! He has a passion for what he does... You are in good hands.

Sean and crew are legit! They slotted me in same day for 4000 mile service plus tire change. Sean took the time to walk around the bike and explain everything that would be done. Picked it up a few hours later and sparkling clean as a bonus! I'll definitely be back when I need more work done. And honestly I would ignore any old low ratings here. Maybe the staff changed or something but I personally had a great experience! (October, 2020)

It was time for a new bike (I have several) so I explored the Royal Enfield INT 650. This store (Brooklyn Mayd) had several models and within a few days Ibought one. The entire transaction was fast, simple and trouble free. Mike did an amazing job of processing the paperwork and setting up the bike. What a pleasure dealing with these guys. They have my 100% loyalty and I'm fortunate to have stumbled upon this store. Thanks guys.... Jack (the NYU Professor).

Sean is the real deal the man has lived motorcycles for all his life from his road racing days to Brooklyn Mayd. I have been to most mechanics from South Bklyn to Montauk and none have made me feel more welcome than Sean and his crew. Completed the work I needed on my bike in a fast an efficient manner and charged me a more than fair price. A very pleasurable experience, Thanks Sean.

Dope shop! Great service team. The owner is very knowledgeable and has been in the bike game for a long time. Don t hesitate to stop by and get some work done, pick up some new gear or purchase your next motorcycle. Check out the new showroom! Even if you don t see it, they can get it for you. I ve came to this place multiple times and always to much talking less business explaining stories about how he did this and that took him this many hours. I asked for simple tasks like check wiring and bike not running. Would get my bike back with still defaults paying around 1,000+. Came about three times will be the last time. To much talk not enough business definitely trying to steal your money if you literally lack knowledge on bikes. The wiring job was Done still had the old same black tape that was there all dusty they did nothing but continually just replace the relay. I got my bike back for the last time hit a bump completely shut off did not want to turn on. I paid 1600 + down deposite of 300 paid all that money just for myself go on YouTube clean the carb now she starts off just right. What s wrong with these people if they just take business seriously I would ve been a happy customer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Not gonna get too much into it, but I wish I could give negative stars. DO NOT...I REPEAT DO NOT bring your business/bike here under any circumstances. Scam/trash place that will rob you blind wit a smile. Do your own research/due dilligence BUT I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take your business elsewhere.Every. Single. Negative. Review on here is justified and probably watered down. Its worse than you can imagine...DON'T bring your bike here under any circumstances.Only updating this because I genuinely don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. This place either damanged my bike or did LITERALLY NOTHING to it. I now have to pay extra to fix what they prob screwed up on my bike. This place is absolute trash, what they do to people borders on criminal. I'm begging everyone to take these negative reviews seriously and NEVER go here.

Brought my Harley here to get fixed after a hit and run on my street. Sean and his team got her fixed up and repaired back to new in lightning speed. They are extremely professional, kind, and a pleasure to work with. Took my other bike to Harley LIC before from another light accident with minimal cosmetic damage on my other bike and they totaled it out on purpose and then tried to sell me a 2020 road glide... it also took them 6 weeks to get me a parts list and they refused to talk to my insurance so I had to relay all the information. Never again, I will always go to Brooklyn Mayd from now on. Sean and his team got the bike back to me in little over a month and kept me updated throughout the whole process. If you need anything done this is the place to go!
