Management very professional and very helpful, answered all my questions and explained what's needed to be done in order to get my car fixed. I was very satisfied with their customer service. I recommend to bring your automobile here. These guys are the ultimate professionals! They will gladly inform you as to the status of the work being done on your car and they are 100% honest. Forget about your local mechanic. You are not going to find a better shop..Emilio and Hector are top notch !

This place destroyed my car. I went in with one problem and when I went to pick it up it had multiple problems it never had and front bumper was damaged. My biggest mistake apart from taking it there originally was leaving it there when I found all the other issues that they created when I picked it up. I am still to this day addressing/fixing all the damages the mechanic did to my car. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.

My wife and I have been using this location for many years. The staff are super knowledgeable and very friendly they make you feel like home. They will take there timeand explain to you exactly whats wrong with your vehicle and will give you expertise advice .These Guys Rock!!!! You have to pull up and see for yourself. Ignore my previous review. This location does great work but has management issues. I previously visited this location in order to get an oil change. After they completed their "courtesy check" they determined that the Tie-rods in my car needed replacement in order to pass my annual NYS inspection and that was all that needed to be completed. I agreed to complete the work and scheduled my NYS inspection with them.I came in for my appointment to get my NYS inspection and, after waiting approx 2 hrs, was told that my brake calipers and rear brakes may need replacement but they would have to run a $175 diagnostic in order to determine the exact issue. In addition to the diagnostic they would also charge me for the parts and labor for the work. I was quoted approx $1000 to replace my brakes. After some discussion I was told that my rear brake calipers were the only requirement for me to pass my NYS inspection but they recommend replacing all of my brakes and the price they then quoted was approx $700. After more discussion they agreed to replace my brake calipers and complete my NYS inspection for $220. I agreed to complete the work and left the car with them to be picked up later in the day.About an hour after I left the car I received a call stating that they misquoted my labor and would actually have to charge me $390 for the replacement of (1) brake caliper. I explained that the labor they were quoting me now was higher than the labor they quoted me for the higher scope of work and I questioned why the labor was higher for less work. The manager then got on the phone and stated that the labor quoted to me was a mistake.the MANAGER VALIDATED MY INITIAL LABOR QUOTE. I dont think he recalled that he was the one who validated my labor quote with the employee, Emilio, when I initially agreed to let them replace my caliper.I decided not to let them work on my car and agreed to pick it up however I lost an entire day of going back and forth about pricing and did not get the service that was quoted to me in writing.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY suspicious quoting for services.I recommend that you receive quotes from other sources before agreeing to letting this location service your vehicle, especially if you are unfamiliar with typical car repair prices.I will NOT do business here again due to the manager's actions.--------------------------Great great service. I am usually very hesitant with working with a new car mechanic. The front desk staff, Emilio, is very helpful and went out of his way to provide great customer service. The team at this location was very clear with helping me identify issues that needed repair, offered a fair price, and they took great care of my car.Service: Wheel alignment

I just want to start off with saying that if you re contemplating on using this company or not , do not hesitate. The transmission on my car died on me around Christmas time. I went into the aamco office and spoke to the manager (Hector) who made the whole process a lot easier. He was able to schedule me right away at a very reasonable price. I hope I don t have to go to a mechanics for a long time but if I do have to I will definitely be contacting Hector again!Service: Transmission

After months of back and forth at the Ford dealership and my car continuing to have the same problem, a friend recommended AAMCO.They were thorough in asking questions and reviewing my repair history. They informed me about everything that was wrong and how they d move forward. I appreciated this because I am a woman who knows NOTHING about cars. Within a week, my car was back to me and the problem was rectified.I went back 10 days later for a follow-up and they gave me a heads up about another issue that may arise. This shows that they are thorough and really care about the work they do. The issue they advised about did end up happening but I am looking forward to going back after the holidays as recommended. I am have no doubt that they will be able to fix the issue.

I've been using this Aamco location for a few years now after struggling to find honest, good and affordable mechanics. The team of mechanics here are great. They have always be honest and do good work. The General Manager Malik is very knowledgeable as well. Ive used this shop for several occasions on my vehicle 2007 tahoe which is running amazing thanks to this shop. Where else in brooklyn can you leave your vehicle with drop off service and continue your day to comeback to a fully serviced vehicle. Front desk customer service is the best ive ever dealt with from any company from being knowledgeable of possible problems, solution & price ranges & finance options. A fellow colleague of mine introduced me to this establishment and the experience here was great. The explanation of the whole process of what I needed to be done was executed very well. 10 out of 10 on customer service and they re always on top with feedback. Besides shipping issues I received my car back very quickly. I ll definitely continue going back here to get work done. Malek and his crew are THE BEST!!! I live in PA now and still bring any and every car I have ever own to him! Malek and the crew have serviced my vehicles since 2004. The most honest and professional mechanics EVER!!! They never try to overcharge or "overservice" your cars. I used AAMCO on Atlantic Ave in Bkly and found the staff to be professional and kind. They explain everything and made sure my Jeep was in the best condition before they gave it back to me to drive. Amazing staff and technicians! They treat me with dignity and took the time and the patience to enlighten me with all the things concerning the required service on my vehicle. Hands down this is the best auto repair shop around I know of in Brooklyn that still exist they are very nice polite friendly and most importantly they have the knowledge about cars they don't beat around the bush wasting yours or their time I took my truck in for ac not blowing cold air I was told what was the issue and what needed to be done to correct the issue everything was explained in specific details to me so I understood what is the situation. I also mentioned to them that I had some other concerns with the vehicle that they also addressed as well free of charge!!! You can't get better than that. I want to give a shout out to Mr. Hector and Mr Malek whom I think went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and making the process very easy and of course for everyone who was involved in getting my vehicle repaired and making sure nothing was damaged and treated it like if it was their own car I have nothing bad to to say about this repair shop I don't know why people here are saying negative things about it. I would go back there anytime in the future if I have to without even thinking twice. If you have any auto repair concerns and live within the area look no more!! stop in at aamco 2916 atlantic ave if you want it done right the first time, friendly staff polite, courteous, clean and professional this is your shop you won't be disappointed.. ask for Hector and Malek a++++++ Highly Recommend

They are very professional and really care about the best long term result of your car. Times are tough yet they are working with me with the payments. Have patience with them as a lot of people go to this place because they do a very good job. Malik is very professional and dosent mess around. I would like to thank Malek and Hector, they are courteous and friendly. This shop is real professional, they gave me great advice on how to give my car the proper maintenance and service. Great price. I love that they have a mechanic that test drives the car along with you and they dedicate time to you, so that you get the proper diagnostic for your car, thanks again.

Wish I could remember the guys name but he was awesome. Everyone we met there was awesome honestly. My husband and I just got our first car and we took it down to them very nervous about what they might find seeing that it is a lightly used car but we are total virgins cars in general. They were very reassuring, very patient with all my questioning and very very knowledgeable. We had one small issue which they fixed free of charge! Amazing experience, I plan to take my car here and no where else

These guys are professionals at an affordable price. They make sure they get the job done. I thought I had a computer problem and it turned to be a loose ground touching metal. Very honest and friendly. The team there also went over everything all over the vehicle and tightened up everything to make sure it was secure. After I knew they are honest and trust worthy, I do any work that needs to be done to them from now on whenever I'm in New York. I was so glad they fixed the electric issue that I had them change the oil and align, balance and rotate my tires with their new machinery. Big Thank You to the owner and his team.

Malek, not only as business owner, in general he have really good personality. They will check your car for FREE and find out what exact service need to be done. He take care of it and provide the good quality parts for the car. I would recommend people to get their service done from there.

The business needs to update their business hours. WHICH IS WHAT BROUGHT ME TO THE REVIEW SECTIONOn your very own site It allowed me to make an appointment for Saturday morning at 8am. I arrived on site at 7:30am. I waited until 9:15am almost 2 hrs of wasted time. I was HOT(angry).I have read reviews . I always start with 1 stars because It tells me the what kind of business minds I'm dealing with, before I do business with anyone. This a new approach to the way I will be spending my hard earned money.I read one review that puzzled me nene Sanchez. Is this the way you treat a 10yr old customer? (Shame on you) to recharge her for your incomplete diagnosis. All the one star reviews tells it all, they all have compatible complaints, and I thank them all.I will definitely be looking elsewhere for my trans tune-up. WOW. Thank you google reviews

Took my 1996 impala to get full suspension works that I ve brought. They checked all my parts. Lay it all out. Told me a crazy price of almost $4k. Also saying my car Leaking from rear total lie.Guy lost one of my coil overs. Didn t want to say he did. Even saying he saw all 4 in the car. Missing my part still not anyone willing to pay me for my part ... never dealing with them again. Really nasty people working there.... Service: Steering & suspension repair
