Horrible. They refused to do a NYS inspection because I had a check engine light on. He let me know I would automatically fail which I know that wasn't supposed to happen either. That doesn't seems right. I've followed up with a complaint.Edited to follow up with owner response:Yes I'm aware of our state regulations and laws and I know that manager was supposed to inspect my vehicle whether it would pass or fail. He certainly wasn't supposed to tell me that my vehicle would automatically fail and refuse to do my inspection because of that. We are to pay whether the inspection pass or fail as it states on the business building. He flat out refused and sent me away because I had a check engine light.

These guys are great, Meineke on Boston Road didn t honor my appointment and didn t care to reschedule. They were much better, they checked tire pressure , lights and did a 360 all while I waited in the car. These guys are very efficient and pay attention to detail. I recommend them!

Fast, friendly, efficient. Great pricing, and they even do state inspections, no appointment needed. Highly recommended. Climate controlled waiting area, and a gender free restroom.

Let s start by saying I called the person on the phone very professional she even send me a $10 coupon. we asked if we can go in by 2:30 since they closed at 3pm on Sundays she replied yes but we i got there one of the guys wearing baggy clothes that was doing the oil change started complaining that he doesn t know why they send people by 2:30 because he will have to stay there later complaining & complaining like a little kid once i got the taste of that attitude,we left to the one in yonkers by the bronx River that closes at 5 pm on Sunday got there the difference is day & night will never go back to the nasty service in Boston Rd.. gave them 2 because the phone service was great

I won t never go to get my oil change in this valvoline. I went there and after they did my oil change when I drove off my car started smoking from the engine compartment and inside the cabin. I call them they told me bring the car back and the manager Peter is a disgrace and he is rude he telling me that when they remove the oil filter that the oil spills all over the place which is not true.I ve gotten other oil change places and that never happens.all of them are incompetent and don t know what their doing don t take your car there I m telling you.

I went in on a Wednesday morning (9:50am) to the mamaroneck location to get an oil change. I was in and out in under 15 minutes, no appointment, and the mechanics were very friendly.

Changed my rear differential fluid and didn't feel like they tried to upsell me anything. I even asked for something that wasn't available for my car and they explained that it's not necessary

I arrive at 11:20 AM and let one of the three workers know that I was there for a New York State inspection. The person outside of the garage asked me to wait because there was one car in front of me. I waited for over a half an hour, and in the time I waited, I witness two other vehicles arrive. When the vehicle that was being inspected left, they allowed one of the other vehicles that came in later to pull up in front of me. I pulled up to the gate, beep the horn and notify them that I had been waiting here because they told me I was next the two workers inside looked at one another one went to the computer and started servicing the car in front of me and the other worker pointed at the driveway and told me to pull up to be next. I specifically came to Valvoline for the quality and experience. Instead, I witness favoritism, and was made to feel as if my time is not important. I proceeded to call the location to speak to somebody in charge, but instead wound up at a Valvoline automated service, I spoke to a representative who then transferred me to the customer service department all as it turns out. They are not open on a Sunday so now I must wait an entire day just to make a complaint about my experience. Even if this issue was resolved, I would never bring bring my vehicle back to this location. They do not honor their word, and do not care about your time. this is not the experience I expected at Valvoline. I instead drove two minutes up Boston Road and found another place where they offer the same services at a much reasonable price and the experience was nothing like at Valvoline. I will forever drive two minutes away from this location to get the proper service.

It only took two times to visit this place for my car to get damaged. The first time I went to get the service my oil pan was damaged something I didn't know. The second time, they noticed that my engine was empty, but they never told me or looked for the issue. I had a recalled done at my dealership and that's where they noticed I had an oil pan leaking due to Valvoline over tighten the bolt. I had a fixed right there and then at my dealership because I had my family with me I could put them or my car engine at risk. I paid over my dealership $645.00 of the damaged done by Valvoline.I reported back at Valvoline and the "manager" didn't even let me speak to explain to him the situation, he was talking over me. Never let me explain myself. They don't want to pay the damaged, according to them, because, I had to return the car as per their policy. I explained the following;I don't have oil in my engine, I am 1 hours away away and they still expected for me to return to the store putting my family and my car at more risk for them to check the car. Valvoline manager just says it's our policy, it's our policy. That's it, they don't care about losing a customer or two. They just don't care about the damage. They pretend to give you an outstanding service, but they don't!Don't waste your money and don't put your car or family at risk. You don't event know what type of services they do until they damaged your car costing you a lot money.Don't put your car at risk!!!!Service: Oil change

This used to be a good place for oil change. For the last two years I have not been happy with the work they did on the car. The first three issues, they didn t close the bolt where the oil is drained. My son had to pay extra money to have a different mechanic check and fix the problem and add additional oil again. The fourth and last, I was very upset and told my son to take the car back. Manager was nice enough to go over the car and found that the oil gasket was not replaced, the leak was from there. He fixed the problem at no cost. If this happened four times, how many other people had the same problem?I told my son to never go here again.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

This used to be a good time place for oil change. The previous ownership are not there anymore and it seems that place has been doing their best to stay alive. Having said that, the work qualifies bad, and dishonest. In the last two years, my son has been going back about 4 times, because some how they don t know how to close well the bolt after draining the old oil. This is bad.Service: Oil change

I went to this place based on their Google reviews and I must say that I was not disappointed. Orlando in bay 2 took care of my oil change with a great professional attitude. He explained everything as he went along. The entire crew seemed to get along and worked together as a team. Although I did not interact with the manager, I can tell he runs a tight knit professional and courteous team. Even though is a 35 minute drive for me it was definitely worth the trip. Keep up the great work fellas!Service: Oil change

I went today for an oil change and haven t been here since before Covid. I went and the man with the blonde dreads who wasn t even working on my car was being so RUDE and unprofessional with the guy who was attending to my car. I didn t know my oil plate had bolts that they couldn t remove and they couldn t do the oil change. That s fine I understand. But this man the way he was treating the poor guy trying to help me out needs a crash course on how to work with fellow co workers. Maybe it went to his head that he was working in the first lane and he thought he was better than others. I feel bad that this poor guy has to work with someone as rude and miserable as that man. Hopefully if I ever go here again I won t have to interact with someone who basically could care less about how they treat others.

These guys were amazing they didn't hit me over the head with bs services I didn't need. They pointed out everything as they were doing it. This is how business should be done very professional and disciplined.Shout out to Luis, Pete, conroy, John, and Jonathan.I'm a veteran and it's good to come home to good services.Best experience I had since I got this carThe owner should be proud of his team

The staff was amazing! I went in yesterday at 5:44 pm for an oil change and the staff was amazing. They took care of my car with care and didn t rush. They stayed open late to accommodate my needs. I had a great experience here. Luis and Orlando were very courteous, professional and explained everything. I did not have to get out of the car, everyone wore masks and kept each other protected. The process was smooth and did not take much time. This location has a new loyal customer and I have already told others about the great service.

Pretty fast service, they suggested I clean the fuel system, did that, did a state inspection and my breaks were kind of squeaking and my front rotors would shake when I pressed the breaks hard. Here they did something to the breaks and now my breaks don't shake or make a sound. Greatly appreciate their service. Recommend this place if you need to do any service for your vehicle. Give it a 10 *

Stay way from Valvoline at 3090 Boston Road. I Just had an oil change done an hour ago for my 2006 Sedona using a groupon and the charged an additional $10 claiming that the had an additianal hal a quart of oil with out first letting me know, so at the end of the oil cange they sprung this up, I said it's should let the customer know at the begining and not at the end of the oil change thier response was this is what the computer sugested and you can complain to the headquarters. I will not use thier services again.
