Excellent work and outstanding customer service. My car was involved in a minor damage MVA. My car was in great condition upon pick up. Thank you Frank and Lisa for taking care of my car. Highly recommend and excellent service. Lisa the office manager is so sweet and very professional. I love the whole team John, Frank and Bill did a marvelous job repairing my vehicle Honda odyssey 2021 back in 2022 after MVA. John is the manger and he is my favorite. He really gets the job done and he is very professional and funny too. He have great skills. I had to return again this year to get some body work done and they were awesome. Match my paint color exactly the same and made my van look brand new again after someone hit it while it was parked.. If I can give 10 stars I would. Thanks again to the universe auto body team.

My vehicle was vandalized and though this can be a tough experience for anyone I am so glad that my car insurance company (Geico) arranged everything so that my vehicle would be fixed here. Because of this experience I can say that I found a gem of a place if I ever need work done again, I will not hesitate to come back here. Lisa was very pleasant and professional and honest with what I should expect. If she needed to get back to me, with any questions or concerns she would do so in a timely matter and worked well with management to get my questions answered. In addition the man in charge of repairs kept his word in resolving a minor issue in a timely fashion. I was very impressed with the above and beyond professionalism and honesty by all the team members. I never felt like anyone was getting a "one over" all was fair and honest and the work impeccable.

I just had my 2023 Subaru with 2000 miles fixed after body work damage. Universe Auto Body was most professional and they put my "broken" car back together as it was before the damage - looks brand new. Frank, John and Lisa were excellent to deal with, they kept me updated during the entire process. I highly recommend them.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

John and Lisa are excellent and go above and beyond to satisfy even the most annoying customers such as me!! They do timely, excellent body work to OEM spec and will work with you on price. They are all the way in the Bronx, but for good service, I travel.Thanks again, John & Lisa, for all you do to keep me and my 4 wheels on the road looking pretty.

Will not let any other auto shop touch my cars going forward. Dealt with Anthony- super great guy. Very honest and a true professional. Highly recommend!

These people are absolutely despicable! Scam artists. They will definitely over charge you and tell you that you have to pay whatever bogus charges or not get your vehicle. Don t ever use the tow service. They intentionally hold your vehicle hostage so as to add on bogus storage charges. They even tried to charge us a highway fee, impound fee etc even tho the car accident and tow happened on a local street. No impound whatsoever. Then the owner tells you you have to pay regardless. We re definitely taking them to court! Once paid, they route you to various lots trying to find your vehicle. We drove 8 miles to another storage location only to wait for hours. Beware! SCAMMERS!

The staff are friendly, professional and work fast! They stayed in touch with me throughout the stages of my repair and reassured me that they could deliver on their promises of satisfaction! I would highly recommend them!

Zero stars need to be an option for places like these that take advantage of insurance claim situations and never get back to you. A 5 day job has turned into almost a month!! Wow , smh !!

Horrible service they couldn't give me an accurate time of when my vehicle would be ready. I went in because my vehicle was rear ended and they made me pay an extra $122.40 for "paint" that started to chip off not even a week after they gave me back my car. I only went to them because geico suggested it was one of their Geico express repair centers. Let me clarify I went there to get my rear bumper fixed and repainted which took them about 2 weeks and a half, express yeeaahh right(sarcasm) I honestly feel as though they did something fishy within the 2 weeks they had my vehicle in the shop because now my engine is making weird noises and trembles. I don't recommend anyone to take their vehicles to this place requiring a paint job. Today was the first day it rained in weeks and the paint started chipping off, it's obvious they used cheap paint and they claimed to have repaired my front right side of my bumper and the paint job looks awful.

I had a great experience at this establishment! My Car looks amazing! They thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done and addressed all my questions. I checked out other shops prior to my visit, but was recommended here and I m glad I went here. Universe Did A Great Job! Will Definitely visit again when needed.

I am not satisfied with the work they've done on my car. Some parts they installed were loose, the latches for inner fender liners were not put on, the lights were not correctly put on, my low beam fell off on one side and actually burnt a plastic part, the fog lights were not aligned properly (it puts light high to the sky and blinds upcoming vehicles). The paint work was good. But i felt that overal work done was very sloppy. They initially said it would took them 20 days to fix but it ended up getting fixed in 36 days and the work done is still incomplete. I came here to fix my car thru geico but luckily i was told by geico that i can go to any workshops where they have their affiliation.I would not recommend this auto repair body shop to my friends.

Unhappy with the repairs they did to my car. Note my car is only 1 year old. After I picked it up it was making a noise that it never had had before. Also they were supposed to change my tire and I am sure they did not because I am constantly having to put air in it. Frustrating! I have owned a car over 30 years and I have never dealt with a mechanic or body shop that will not let you see the work they are doing. I knew some thing was fishy but since Geico kept insisting that they got rave reviews I went with them. Never again. Go anyplace else.

Worst place to go get your car fixed for auto body better just find another shop stay away from them they will damage more your car like did with mine. Now have to take it to another shop to fix what they damaged. Now they don not even answer a BBB complaint they just egnor it and they false advertising they are registered with BBB and have no complaints!! What a lie!!!Service: Body & Trim

This accident happened 2yrs. ago. Their work was exceptional I couldn't even tell I had an accident, paint/parts match were done very professionally.I just had a rear end hit/run accident & I requested to go back for to Universe Auto for this accident I have complete confidence that my vehicle will be as good as new.

Couldn't ask for a better body shop to take car of my $150k car they have the necessary equipment and the facility to paint a high end vehicle with delicate paint and they did an awesome job, i cant thank Frankie and Anthony enough as they were total pros, so trust me when i say you're in great hands with these guys.

Universe Auto Body Center in Baychester, Bronx is the WORST body shop in the industry. They are very unprofessional, very uncourteous, and nothing short of a very long nightmare, to say the least. If you are even thinking of having work done in this place, STOP. If you have a vehicle being repaired at this shop, now is the time to get up and go get your car OUT OF THERE. Ana, the secretary and Richie, the alcoholic, nasty manager are a tag team that are nothing short of undesirable. They will lie to you everyday of the week, 24 hours a day if they have to in order to cover up what looks like some serious embezzling from their part. Good luck to the owners!

I was recommended to go here by Geico after my car was Side swiped While my car was parked. The repairs were done in a week but it was done poorly . And to top it off I had left my sunglasses in the sunglass compartment and when I went to put them on the were gone. I called the shop and they told me that no one knows about it . I called Geico and made a complaint . I wouldn t even care if they were cheap $20 dollar sunglasses but they cost me $150 dollars . I would not recommend this body shop. Stay away....

So I got into an automobile accident on my brand new car because of a wreck less driver and I was very distraught but then I came across Joey and he turned my clouds into sunshine. He made me feel 100xs better and I recommend Universal auto body to anyone!!! You will definitely be satisfied !!!

They were a few days late with the completion; however, the staff were courteous and professional. Overall they seem trustworthy. The work appears flawless. They have my vote and my confidence.

I went and pick my vehicle up started to check out my vehicle to make sure everything was ok and noticed that their is a piece missing from my car door and also on the door the Leather interior was ripped, not to mention I of to call them to ask if the replacement for the missing arrived and to my surprise it s there over a weekend and no one called me I m not pleased at all.
