Of course I read all these amazing reviews on this shop & decided to come here. I came in about 3 months ago to get my serpentine belt replaced & oil change. Fair price, didn t take too long, no problem. The next day I go to turn on my car & there s this awful squeaking sound that coming from the belt (the noise would last a few seconds every time i turned on the car then stop) which never happened before. I returned back to the this shop so he can take a look at it again & he tells me that everything looks fine & nothing is wrong. He proceeds to then blame it on the way I m turning on my car.. a few days later I went to someone else to get it checked out & it turns out that the belt wasn t installed properly & was loose :) .. I also had a few hundred more miles before it was time to get my oil changed but I decided to go somewhere else to get it changed & they told me my oil was black. So did Mike & his crew actually changed my oil ? Who knows.. Definitely won t be returning. Not sure if they re just careless or wanted to get away with things since I m a woman. So if you re going to come here, be careful.

My first time there. Decided to go because of the great reviews. Very good experience and will definitely go back for future service. Turned out my vehicle was overheating because of no antifreeze which I did not notice. Very honest mechanic and didn't charge me to fill up the antifreeze. Gave him a nice tip instead. Very nice experience there.

Went for a starter replacement. Job was done quick on same day, clean work except for rug but always expected on a repair shop and to my understanding it was a fair pricing. Professional and kind mannered staff. They have now become my go to repair shop... They do all repairs except alignment nor inspection.

found a new mechanic!!! i went in yesterday with my boyfriend and he fix my car within a few hrs!! he was very honest & my car felt brand new! he even recommended someone to help in the area he was not specialized in, great customer service! will definitely come back with future issues! :)Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Attn: TEACHERS\SCHOOL PEOPLES!! I am a NYC DOE DEPT OF EDUCATION EMPLOYEE. As a school employee we need to be in school and in at early mornings. My car needs to crank in snow, rain, hot weather. This new mayor won't give us school employees no sympathy towards our safety despite weather or pandemic health get in to work the heck with your life. Mike has made my car reliable usable and efficient. He deals professionally and takes into account the economy pressures. He doesn't cheat you or gives you inferior products or labor. I being a woman feel confident in his care of my car. Thank you Mike lady with Grey Hyundai (gas tank)

Very small shop so even coming early won't keep you from having to wait or leave your car in a legal parking spot, if you can find one. The owner/lead mechanic is very knowledgeable and usually gives a fair estimate.

Great mechanic. Transparent and fair prices. He changed my alternator and my bearings. Plus got my brakes changed. Anytime I need repairs will definitely go back

Metric is the GREATEST!! Mike is the man! They've been my mechanics for about 7 years now, through 2 vehicles. They've NEVER let me down yet, and his charges are very reasonable. Nothing but good things to say about them!!

I have been a customer over 15 years and would not use any other mechanic. I have referred friends and family.....they too have become loyal customers. Mike and his crew are the best at workmanship and price.

Mike is the Owner and how i found his Mechanic Shop was actually from google and i heard alot of good things about his shop so i gave his shop a try and i seen first hand how Mike is a very trustworthy and honest person he will actually show you what's wrong with your car and he understands that times are rough and he will be very reasonable and work with you let me tell you good Mechanics are hard to find that's why i always go back to Metric Mechanics the Best shop in the bronx!!!!

Affordable, professional, quality automotive repair done quick! Miguel is honest and knows how to repair any vehicle. I have trusted my Ford Explorers (93 and 2000)vehicles to them from tune-ups to AC recharges and other work like transmission and gas line repairs, and I was extremely satisfied. When I need work done right, I trust These guys.one thing to note, the shop moved a couple of doors down. The address is 1743 W Farms Rd, Bronx, NY 10460. You will see the sign that reads:" Metric". Just scroll up the street on Google maps to see his new place.
