Negative Star!Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Service Experience at MeinekeDear Management Team,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at your Meineke location on 4050 Boston Road in the Bronx on Saturday, March 16th.Upon contacting your establishment to inquire about an oil change for my 2019 Honda CRV, I spoke with Manager Frank Parascondola. Initially, the conversation seemed promising as we discussed the pricing for synthetic blend and full synthetic oil changes. However, upon arrival, I was surprised to find that the final cost differed significantly from what was communicated over the phone. Despite my attempts to clarify the discrepancy, I was met with dismissiveness and was ultimately overcharged for the service.Furthermore, my dissatisfaction continued when I discovered that the oil change had been performed hastily, resulting in damage to the lower guard shield of my vehicle. This negligence not only compromised the integrity of my car but also posed a safety risk while driving. When I returned to your establishment on March 26th to address this issue, I was met with further disappointment.The manner in which the situation was handled by Manager Frank Parascondola and the mechanics was unprofessional and disrespectful. Not only was there a lack of accountability for the initial oversight, but the subsequent mishandling of my vehicle only exacerbated the problem. The suggestion to discard the damaged part without consideration for its necessity was particularly concerning and indicative of a disregard for customer satisfaction.I am deeply disappointed by the level of service and lack of professionalism demonstrated at your establishment. As a loyal customer who has frequented Meineke for automotive needs, this experience has left me questioning the integrity of your organization. I expect a resolution that includes both reimbursement for the unnecessary expenses incurred and the provision of a replacement part for the damage caused to my vehicle.I trust that you will address this matter promptly and take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Myself and a few other coworkers have been using Meineke to do services on our work vans for a few years now. They provide quick turn around time for services. Frank and his team are very knowledgeable mechanics and display a lot of professionalism.

Based on the reviews I read online, I took my vehicle to this Meinike yesterday after calling and explaining an issue that was causing several alerts including the engine light on. Frank asked me to bring it over right away, which I did. He was very attentive and friendly. Marcos, the mechanic, was very nice and friendly as well. He ran a diagnostic test and replaced the ignition coil, and I didn't have to wait a lot. The one thing I loved about them is that they didn't try to sell me anything that my car didn't need, like I have experienced in other car repair places. I really appreciated that! I will continue to bring my car to this place from now on.

They're always willing to assist me with my automobile needs. Frank, The Manager is very personable, and a good listener. The work is done efficiently, and as quick as possible. Appreciate their customer service.

Frank (I think that was his name) was very friendly and helpful. He just took care of business. This kind of customer service you don't see too much nowadays. I'm glad I brought my car there. {Grey Honda Civic, replaced muffler pipe).

I made an appointment for 8am, when the store opened, to get 4 new tires installed and alignment done. I was assured on the phone that my tires would be installed right away. After waiting 90 minutes I saw them rolling the tires to a shop down the road. I observed how the tires were mounted there. I had to get to work and asked them not to do the alignment. Yet, my car had already been driven to yet another shop across the street and I was assured it would be the next car they would work on. They spent about 10 minutes on it and I am not confident it was done properly. The entire service took 3 hours what should have been 45 minutes. Overall, it was a terrible experience. The location is in a fairly shady area and the shop small, run down and dingy. The waiting area is cramped and dilapidated. Next time I will spend a little more money and go someplace else. The only positive were the staff who were all very friendly.Follow up: I called the number listed in Meineke's reply. The call-center person had no access to this review and asked me to repeat all. Next thing that happened, they sent my info back to the shop. Their manager then called me directly. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be confronted about what I wrote. I was expecting a reply from their company's management team instead, explaining how they would address my concerns and avoid a repeat.This follow-up experience made things evenworse.Follow up #2:The call center left a message and asked to call them back. I did and left a message. They never called me back. Meineke gets a grade of D for customer service from me.them back.worse .

I came to this location. To look into a vibration issue as I turn the car on. Since this is their specialty area in the auto industry. The other reason I went there, is because I went to a different auto shop prior and was told I needed a new catalytic converter. But I have been waiting for over a month. Not even 10 minutes after the shop opened. I get a call from the manager Frank. I was informed that my catalytic converter is fine and all I need it was gasket and springs. Which was the results of my vibration issues. When I went to pick the car up and turn the ignition on. It was silent as night. No vibration issues. I am very happy and satisfied that I got the issue resolved at a third of the price. Of what I was going to be charged for something that was not the issue. I will be returning to this facility for my future annual inspections and oil changes. For both cars.Also good work and prices on brake replacement.Service: Auto battery maintenance

This place is good to get your car repaired. They work quickly and they let you choose what you want to repair. They are very friendly. The chairs are horrible. They are very uncomfortable and hurt the back. Hopefully, they'll change them.

Great service from Frank the owner and operator. His team works well together and Mr. DEVON the mechanic did a superb job on 2007 Hyundai! Fair price, good service and HONESTLY at this place! Highly recommended!

Meineke is the dependable vehicle service that does excellent work. I been with Meineke for a long time for 12 years, and I am always happy with my car when service is done. And the manager knows me Mr. Frank Paris at 4054 baychester avenue, Bronx N.Y 10454,who I enjoy talk to about my car. I hope Meineke be around for a long time. Needed all four rotors and brake pads replaced. Took my SUV to Meineke located on Boston Road in the Bronx. No appointment, I received prompt attention and analysis along with pricing. The owner was courteous even when handling difficult customers. Used the same shop years ago and was delighted to see that quality service was still there.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

My visit at this Meineke location was excellent!. On Dec. 5, 2022, I spoke to Frank (Owner) and ask him to please take a look at the exhaust system and if it needed to be replace, so he showed me what part was damage and the parts that needed to be replace. The price he quoted was reasonable and the service was great! I was glad that I didn't have to wait all day for the work to be done. Frank is excellent at his craftsmanship, and by the time I left the shop, I had peace of mind in knowing that the work was done and that my vehicle was going to be running smooth again.Frank thank you and your staff for your Honesty and Professionalism! Was a client that spent a lot of money until my transmission wasn t good and he wanted charge me $4100 for not even new transmission just to rebuild it when I try to get my car back he had it my car at a different shop in Brooklyn and then want me pay $600 because he pulled the car apart I told him I have a new transmission why would he charge me $600 to put the old one back in when I can pay that money and u can put the new transmission I have. This shop a scam rip off be careful if you a women they try to get over this was infinity qx60 2014

I wouldn t go back to this location if my service was free! I literally was the first person to arrive at 7:45 am and waited until almost noon for my back breaks to be done. I took matters in my own hands and went to the back yo find out what the heck was taking so long and everybody was chilling! Smoking cigarettes, reading the paper. A disaster! Also the manager smokes in the waiting area which is terrible.

Went in for an oil change. Would have been nice if my Minekie app had better coupon deals but I guess not. Otherwise this Meineke location is good but needs to be bigger since got a lot of customers a lot of cars coming in..... More space needed. But still fast great service. I'm bringing my car in again for upgrades on the brakes.Service: Oil change
