Finding a good mechanic is a true job and once you acquire them you don't want to loose them. Larry and his team are exceptional. Larry the owner personally inspects each vehicle before any work is done by anyone. He also advises the customer clearly on the condition of the vehicle, what can be done, if it should be done, the cost involved and he prefers to use dealer parts. I strongly recommend them but come early.

Larry helped plug a hole in my tire when I got a flat during a long trip. He s a very kind man and I m so lucky I found his shop. Thank you again Larry.

Larry at Fine Tune Auto was always the best. He was always honest, friendly, and professional. I lived in the Bronx for 4 years during medical school & he took care of everything. I had to keep going back to him even after I left the Bronx because I could find an honest mechanic where I was living. I wish there was a Larry where I live now!!

Larry came strongly recommended to my wife and I by our coworker about 3 years ago. He's a straight shooter who wont pad your bill with nonsensical charges. If you're looking for a reliable mechanic he's definitely your guy. This is truly a gem in the Bronx. Larry is so responsive and him and his team are thorough and diligent with their work. Larry will explain everything they do and informs you of costs as reflective of work required. He uses parts authentic to the car make and model for repair or replacement. Honest, mechanics who care about their customers is hard to come by these days. I would recommend him to anyone who owns a car. Larry and Will were so amazingly helpful, trustworthy and efficient. They told me exactly what was going on before doing any work, the price was set out before work started- no surprise charges- all around super nice and honest mechanics. I am so happy I found great mechanics for both my cars.

Have used Fine Tune Auto a few times for light bulb changes and what I call car horn wiring bypass surgery- most recently I hired Larry and his team to repair front and rear end suspension stuff - Larry being a honest soul refunded me $250 after finding out the part was cheaper than originally expected, so I highly recommend Fine Tune Auto for all of your repairs

Larry is a very professional personAnd he also demonstrates excellent customer service . I bought my Acura MDX in for a loud Noise .It required that a part be ordered so I had to come back the next day .Larry drove me back to the hosptial where I worked .Upon my return, I took the hosptial shuttle but it was about 7 blocks away from his shop . Too long to walkLarry sent someone to pick me up !All so that I would not be further inconvenienced or have to take another taxiWhen I first came , he did a better job then my mechanics at home in Cortlandt Manor . In addition to the repair he advised that I get something for rodentsHe did such a thorough job that he found remnants of a rodents food particles in the ductsWow ! I had heard about people having to spend $5000 because rodents go under the hood and chew on the car wiresSo I was really happy to take his advise to order something . Best mechanic shop I have encountered by far. The owner is straightforward and direct ensuring that he personally checks each vehicle himself to be properly repaired. I fully recommend this shop.
