Nichol's has been excellent with my repair needs. Also prompt to assist with minor issues and with appointments have been very timely. They have my business as it's hard to find a reliable repair shop.

The best repair shop in the area! Called to have a loud noise looked at and they were able to get me in the same day, figured out what was wrong, brought me in the back to show me exactly what the issue was, and even fixed it right then! Being a young college student living 5 hours from the area, I was skeptical about receiving services from an unfamiliar shop. This shop exceeded my expectations and even past experiences at local shops. Scott and his staff are friendly, spot on, and truly do treat everyone like family! Cannot recommend this place enough!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I stopped by to have Scott look at the exhaust on my son's car. He brought it right in put it in the air. Did a temporary fix. Gave me some advice. Very helpful and quick. Would highly recommend.

Such an honest mechanic. Went in for an oil.change an inspection but said he wouldn't do the oil change because we didn't put enough miles on the vehicle. Most.mechanics I bet would.of just done it and taken the $$. Always let's me know what's needed and when. Very honest place to get a vehicle serviced.

These guys are ROCK STARS. I brought my old Honda in for these guys with a not so urgent issue (some rear struts) and they were kind enough to use my parts, but then a rusted out hole in my gas tank snuck up on me AND i need an inspection. I told him to go ahead with the gas tank and he ordered one out of state saving me 100$. So I was thinking if i could just get the gas tank done And maybe the inspection On a 800$ budget. At this point i didnt think i could afford the struts at that time. So i go and pick it up and THEY HAD EVERYTHING DONE FOR ME!! I couldn t be happier and the administrative staff is lovely as they didn't mind me calling for updates, it took a little time but it was worth it. Any where else i would never expect this, especially if you live in Rochester where they severely overcharge. Scott im so thankful I will be back and I ll definitely mention you to others.

Scott and the staff at Nichols make their customers feel welcome and, they make them feel like they can be sure that their needs will be met. They can trust the mechanics to make the necessary repairs to their vehicles and, trust that Scott will make sure that only the necessary work is performed with professional quality and expertise!

Scott is an amazing ,honest man , does a honest work and is great at it. Doesnt ever steer me wrong, and even took time out of his day once to help answer some questions i had and had always been great prices. Robin his wife is so kind and helpful as well , also helping me with anything i need and being so patient. Definitely best west side of the city

Nichols is always great. I've never had a bad experience there. Lydia is always sweet on the phone and in person. The mechanics are always honest and straight-forward with you. This place definitely deserves all the business it can get

Nichols service is always really good. Today, though, I was very thankful for their willingness to squeeze me in for an oil change. I am sure it was a stretch for their schedule, but it was wonderful that I was able to get it done on such short notice.

These guys are on the ball and receptionist is friendly and helpful. My vehicle is a harder car to work on and they had no problems. I recommend them!

My car was not driving well at all. I was debating on scrapping it or just selling it super cheap. I took it to Nichols as a last ditch effort and it was fixed with no issues. The car drove like new a vehicle, and the workers were very pleasant to deal with. I recommend nickels to all my friends and to anyone who reads this review. I will also continue to be a customer.

What a wonderful place. The staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly. I was offered bottled water and tissues and any amenities I needed. They get straight to the point, doing small things that will need to be done (ie my car was getting inspected and needed a new windshield wiper). Anything bigger, they ask you about. They keep a record of your car and recommend service that might be done in a few months. And their prices are fabulous. I will definitely go back.Edit: I have been back, and every time, it's the same wonderful service.

I am so thankful I found this shop after newly moving to the area. The most friendly and trusting mechanic I have ever dealt with. They are so kind and honest. They made me feel like family. They had pretty good customer service. I had to have an inspection done, and ended up needing a new strut and spring on the front driver side for it to pass. Come to find out they should have replaced both which they only replaced one, and didn't refer me to anyone nor tell me i needed an alignment done. They definately need to work on their communication and express what they can and can't provide.

FANTASTIC! Had to have 2 cars inspected for possible purchase. They squeezed me in at my convenience driving from Buffalo and were thorough and reasonable.Scotty took my call Following day and answered mor questions. Just an up and up shop!

Great service! Very reasonable prices. Moved to Brockport area 4 years ago. I was going to other repair shops in the area when I read about Nichols Auto repair and reviews. I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did. Scott was a pleasure to work with. More like a neighbor or friend. Only fixed what needed to be fixed. Hard to find a honest, reliable mechanic at reasonable prices.Very happy with the service. He's now my mechanic, and I would strongly recommend him to friends and family. My only regret is I didn't use their services sooner! BEST in Brockport and surrounding area. Great job Scott! Thanks!

I never thought I'd find another Auto Service Center like the one I went to for twenty years, but I have. Without a doubt, the best place to bring your car or truck in Monroe County in my opinion. My wife is treated like gold every time she goes in with an issue with her car. And me....forget about it. Honest, knowledgeable, and friendly, they have it all. Scotty and crew, you guys rock!

Towed me back to town quickly on zero notice, replaced the broken part quickly. just took them a second job that Mr. Tire couldn't cope with and was out in an hour. Fair pricing and fast service.

Best shop in the area. Extremely trustworthy staff who will always call before completing work if they come across something unexpected. Competitive rates and turnaround time. Don't waste your money at a chain store, support your local mechanic.
