This place really threw me for a loop. First I leaned the hard way Pascal Doran is a liar and not a single person there has vehicle certification. Suffice to say he installed an engine that he could not get to work for 2 years. Then he will not return calls, emails or text messages. He is a passive aggressive person who wants to intimidate you into an argument. He plays more Golf than works. Stay away from this guy. He is dishonest and a 2 face. He will cause more damage than good.Service: Engine repair

After trying multiple times at other repair shops I was recommend Pascal and crew to deal with a turbo problem I was having on my Santa Fe.They were able to diagnose the problem and recalibrate things into working condition. What sets Pascal apart is he seems to be a real master in his trade and all around nice person.Thank you and hopefully see you not to soon.

I found Pascal and his shop to be knowledgeable, courteous, and found and repaired prior work done by another shop that was shoddy at best. The price was fair, the work was done on time. As the owner of 4 cars, I plan on using Pascal going forward. He has already handled 2, including an old Porsche that he proved very knowledgeable on. Pascal and his wife are professional, polite, and treat you like family. They are an honest business with reasonable prices. He even showed me a picture where the repair needed to be done on my transmission. Got me out of there in time to pick up the toddler from school. Even offered to drive me there if my car wasn't done. Excellent service! They were friendly, communicative and understanding when discussing my options. Pascal is very knowledgeable and honest, I ended up getting a my car fixed for inspection at a better price than what was quoted at my local Honda dealership, and in a shorter time frame as well. Every part of the repair was explained via email with photographs and plain-english descriptions, and the response time was snappy. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Briarcliff Auto to anyone looking for a friendly and capable auto service.Services: Auto emissions testing, Vehicle safety inspection

I m 37 years old, and since I ve been able to drive at 16, I have never found a go to mechanic. The expression honest mechanic became an oxymoron in my experience. I stumbled across Double R by accident, and I m SO glad I did. I knew of Pascal years ago, and he was as charismatic and friendly then as he is now. There s just something about his shop that s different. They re extremely thorough and take pictures while they re performing a service so you can see exactly what s going on. Prices are fair, he doesn t push things on you, and he looks at the big picture of your car s life and gives tips so it will last. I ve been using Pascal and Double R/Briarcliff Auto for years. He and his crew are the best. He s honest and thorough. I ve referred at least 5 friends to him. He s done repairs to my Subaru, Acura, Wrangler and Audi. Superior forensic analysis of a complex problem with my Prius engine. Sent pictures with explanations, which was informative. The work was done in 2 days! And at 1/3 the estimate of a replacement used engine from another garage. My 14 year old car drives like a dream. Briarcliff Auto is top notch, responsive and friendly. Great service, timely and efficient. We had a problem with the starter in our 2013 Honda Accord Sport, Pascal replaced the part quickly and did a bunch of other maintenance services at the same time. We are really pleased with both the service and the price! Totally recommend!

I've known Rob and had him service my cars for 10 years. He's a low-key guy. The service he and his guys do is wonderful. So hard to find a guy like this these days. Honest, down to earth, and just what you would expect from a guy like him. Can an experience with an Auto Repair shop be called beautiful? You wont be disappointed if you're looking for super smarts and honesty.What they charge, compared to other so-called "official" dealers is a fraction. And the work is much better.A hidden gem in Briarcliff.

My grandaughter had a transmission problem with her 97 Honda Accord while doing a summer internship in the area . I live in North Carolina and called and talked with Pascal about her problem . He arranged to have the car towed and fixed her car all in the same day . It turned out to be a cracked pipe and was leaking transmission fluid and the transmission checked out ok. He had a chance to really gouge me with a ridiculous repair charge but he was very honest and called me several times to keep me informed of the repair . I would highly recommend him as he runs an honest and very reasonable shop !

Great Service. Thanks for all that you do!Briarcliff Auto Services is smart and efficient. Pascal and his crew at Briarcliff Auto Services have repaired my cars for several years and we have always been pleased with the results. We brought a Chrysler Sebring to Pascal that had trouble starting due to an ignition problem. It had been looked at by several other repair shops that could not diagnose the problem. Pascal repaired it and the car starts reliably ever since.He has also maintained two other cars for us.

Poor Customer service. Pascal says he is an expert when really John, who he bought the business from, is who knew his stuff. Installed plug wires incorrectly, did not know how to tune a carburetor. Spent thousands of dollars only to take to another garage who had to fix everything he did, and only cost me 800.00 bucks. Never and I mean NEVER go to this garage. He should pay me just to stay in business.

Briarcliff Auto Services is a great place to take your car. They are very knowledgeable and honest. Two traits you do not always find at repair shops. We have an older Audi A8L, they are able to fix whatever is broken and keep it in good repair year after year. Thank you Pascal and team.

Nightmare. RETURNED OUR CAR WITH PARTS MISSING, and we got into an accident because Pascal. He is dishonest. Would not return calls. DO NOT GO TO PASCAL! A warning to all. Please be safe. We used to go to Double R, then Pascal bought their company.

Great service! All the mechanics here love what they do, and it shows. The work is first-rate. They always let you know what needs to be done and check for your go-ahead before proceeding. After some awful experiences with other repair shops when I first moved to the area, I was lucky to find these guys. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This place is the worst!! I am warning everyone don t go here to fix your car, first they over charged me then when I came to pick up the car they decided to add additional fees $800 with out telling me in the beginning.. They wouldn t give me my car until I paid this outrageous amount of money. I called the police and got my report and I plan on taking them to court. They are thieves

Pascal, the owner, not an honest person, IN FACT HE IS A LIAR, he took 18 months many non returned calls and non answered emails, to fix my truck and assured me on many occasions that it was OK, when in fact it wasn't, after taking the truck to the dealer to confirm he had not installed the replacement engine correctly and would not pass inspection so he said he would fix the problem and once again he didn't, he told me the truck was OK to drive home 60 miles to find it spewing coolant 5 miles from his shop, and called from the roadside 3 time no return call until i kept calling to be answered by an employee to say he was busy, and left me on the side of the road to sort it out, I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE THAT HAS A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH BRIARCLIFF AUTO SERVICES AND PASCAL DORAN TO POST IT AND GIVE A TRUE AND HONEST REVIEW AS HE WAS REFEREED BY A FRIEND AND HAS DONE THE SAME TO A PERSON I REFEREED HIM TO ALSO, HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIE ABOUT THE WORK BEEN DONE AND LEAVE YOU ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AS HE DID TO ME, AND WILL NOT HAVE THE DECENCY TO PICK UP THE PHONE TO DEAL WITH IT.
