Went to this shop in February last year, before they changed their name but just after the shop was sold. I brought my second car in for an oil change and that was the end of it. Just over 3 months and 3k miles after I had the oil change my car started knocking. I had a 2013 Ford Focus ST that required synthetic oil and about 1.5 qts more than they put in.After realizing they used the information for my 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer which had previously been to the shop under previous management rather than getting the correct information, they claimed to not be responsible. They also claimed the reason for not using the full amount of needed oil is because when you do an oil change sometimes oil stays in parts of the engine and don t flush out and it s ok if you don t need to fill it completely after that . Last time I checked, when I bring my card to Valvoline they drain and refill ALL the oil and charge me for such. When I sent my girlfriend in for the car as it was technically under her name, they refused to give her the key because she wasn t the owner . They charged her $500 as a storage fee after refusing to give her the keys the same day it was towed there.Unless you want to junk your car or have a larger repair cost I wouldn t recommend this shop. Just because they changed their name doesn t mean they changed their work ethic which is dirt low. When previous owner owned the shop it was always busy but it s easy to see it s under new management because the lots are pretty empty when I drive by now.I d give them a negative rating if possible but sadly it s not. Hopefully a new shop will come and bring some credibility back but until then, I d suggest taking your vehicles to Dons Automotive in Brewster or Preferred Auto which is also in Brewster.
