Honest, Reliable, Fair, Transparent and Quick!If you're looking for a mechanic who you can trust, stop your search now. Erick was excellent. He treated my car as if it was his own. He fixed the issue fast and took time to explain to me in detail and helped me understand things I can do better to prevent the issue from happening again. I m relieved to find this place and highly recommend.

Eric was amazing helping me today! I was an hour away from home taking my kids to the dentist, went to leave and my jeep was stuck in park. Not knowing what to do, I called his shop and he came in his own vehicle to look at the issue. He fixed it, explained what to do if it happened again & got me and my family on the road again free of charge. If there were more than 5 stars he'd get them all! Very thankful for him!

We had to drive 1�+ hours to bring my daughter to an emergency dentist, right? Then the Jeep we were driving wouldn't shift into gear from park at 430. Eric didn't hesitate, he knew exactly where we were, came and helped diagnose what the issue was. The only thing I DONT like is that he's so damn far from us!! 20/10 recommend

Eric is a fantastic mechanic. He trouble shoots an issue and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is done in excellence. His calm demeanor and customer service is stellar. Located in Brewster, NY. He is an expert on foreign cars.Highly recommend.

Erik is the real deal. He has a passion for his craft, and knows his stuff. He knows all aspects of cars, and how they work, everything from electrical to rebuilding your transmission. Straight shooter. Generous with his knowledge. I have no hesitation in recommending this shop. You're lucky if you're in the Brewster area.

Erik was highly recommended to me. I had a transmission leak underneath my car and he was able to find the problem in a very Short period of time. We talked about a couple of other things with my car to keep an eye on which gave me peace of mind it s safe. Erik had my car fixed and back to me in no time and was very easy to work with. Also the price was very reasonable which helped a lot. I highly recommend Erik he is very knowledgeable and above all honest...

Erik is very professional and knowledgeable, a friend referred me to him and it was a nice and easy repair process. He walked me through all the repairs needed and explain everything thoroughly. Erik did an excellent job rebuilding the transmission of my 2004 Pilot along with fixing a stalling problem other mechanics would not take the time to diagnose. He was able to quickly diagnose the problems and the repairs were done within the time and price that he quoted. He kept me updated on the progress and was quick to respond to any questions that I had. My Pilot has 325K miles and runs like new, will definitely return for any future repairs.

Erik was referred to me by a friend. She told me he was upfront and fair and I absolutely found this to be true. I was able to get my honda repaired the same day. Erik gave the car a thorough inspection and let me know what repairs need to be done soon, and others that are less urgent. I would highly recommend Invictus Automotive to anyone in need of repairs and maintenance.

Erik rebuilt the transmission and changed the timing chain, brakes and water pump to my 2006 Acura. It drives like a charm now. He explained everything, was fairly priced and did it in a timely manner. I highly recommend him!

My car died, and my father referred me to Erik. Every time I need something and my father says, "I've got a guy," I usually consider the vetting process over.That said, I still managed to be pleasantly surprised.I called Erik and asked for as quick a turnaround as possible. I had the car towed to Invictus at 2 PM, and by 4PM, I got a phone call with a full explanation and diagnosis on all 3 issues (2 main issues- Alternator, Battery, but he also checked/replaced the brake pads), and by 7AM the following morning my car was ready for pickup. On top of that, he undercharged me.Erik is intelligent, thorough, transparent, honest, and conscientious. He gets my utmost recommendation.

I highly recommend Erik. He is thorough, honest and truly knows what he is doing. His ability to diagnose is impressive. Erik not only quickly diagnosed and repaired an issue with my Jeep Commander but he did it cheaper than quoted! During my repair he discovered a part didn't need to be replaced. Rather charging me anyway he was honest and deducted the part from the bill. In addition, Erik did a once over of my vehicle and gave me recommendations for items to watch and plan for in the future. Instead of guessing and throwing parts and money at a problem he figures it out and fixes it right. What more could ask for?

Erik did a fantastic job on my Ram 2500 4x4 diesel truck. He rebuilt my transmission that had over 250k on it and it now feels like new. He completed the job on time and at exactly the price he quoted. I couldn t be happier.

Erik is THE guy to see if you have any issues with your car, truck or toy. Or if you just want to go faster. Erik's professionalism and knowledge is simply unmatched by anyone in the area. Drove 2 1/2 hrs to buy some used subjects parts and he turned me into a repeat customer. Will definitely be headed back soon for any and all repairs i need done. Thanks guys!

I was referred to Erik at Invictus by a friend, I was desperate because my clutch went in my Jeep Wrangler jk and it wasn t drivable. I needed it fixed, and immediately. I was at the mercy of time and was afraid of what the expense was going to be! I spoke with Erik and the price he quoted was amazing and his knowledge was apparent from the beginning . I had my Jeep towed right to him and he had it going; better then new in no time. Since I iwnef the car, it had an issue with little to no heat. I ve had the dealer and several other mechanics look at and attempt to fix/diagnose the problem with no luck...costing me time and many cold drives! I mentioned it to Erik, he said he would be able to fix it. Once he heard I had 3 young kids, he said he HAD to fix it. Long story short he fixed it, replaced the heater core plus put in an in-line filter so it doesn t happen again! So I highly recommend Invictus Automotive. I can t say enough good things about him. I ve been back for other issues with other vehicles and he never fails ...honest, understanding, fair pricing and one heck of a mechanic! A+++

Erick is great!Long story, I was going to Metric Motors for years to get my oil changed and occasional engine work. 2 years ago, Metric motors messed up my oil change and ruined my cars engine. They replaced the engine, however just recently the car was leaking oil. They said leaking profusely along with other issues. Engine was no longer covered under warranty. So I did not trust them. Went to pick up oil to keep in my car and someone recommended Invictus Automotive. Gave them a call and Erick said he could look at my car that afternoon. As soon as he saw my engine, he said that the engine installed by Metric Motors was a bad engine. Erick was also able to pinpoint 2 issues instantly. He kept the car overnight to look into other things. The next day got a call with the verdict and had it fixed in 3 days.Erick of Invictus Automotive is my new Mechanic and I will not go anywhere else or trust anyone else! He is very thorough and explains things in a way I can understand. He even takes pictures to help document and keep me informed.

My car was worked on at Invictus Automotive Inc in Brewster, NY, I really believed that fixing it was hopeless but Eric worked on it tirelessly and addressed every issue that the car had. He was patient and determined that when he handed back over the car it was fixed to perfection. Amazing service and extremley knowledgeable. I have worked on cars and boats my whole life and am fairly knowledgeable in most forms of mechanical work but i didnt have the knowledge or time to tear apart the hemi engine on my jeep. Someone reccomended eric and i couldn't have been more happy. A local pirate, i mean dealership, diagnosed that my cam and lifters needed to be changed and gave me a ridiculous number of $8000 to do lifters,cam replace radiator and water pump, absolutely insane. Eric did all that plus timing chain, re-machined heads with new seats and springs, thermostat, replace all gaskets and bolts, serviced trany, transfer case and front and rear diff plus dropped pan and flushed engine for about half that amount. He actually explained what he wanted to do and kept me in the loop the whole time. Anything i cant do from now on for my cars and boat engine. He is doing. I highly recommend invictus automotive.John E

Dont be fooled by the initial appearance of this small shop. Inside is a brainy guy who is an expert diagnostician who clearly explains what your cars problem is and how he can fix it. There is no bs trying to get you to do more than you need. And his rates are fair. Get dealer service and some honest service with Erik.Bill fellingServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

EXCELLENT customer service!!! Highly highly recommend reaching out for almost any work done... after countless repairs on my 01 subi Forester (220,000k/rust/rotted/etc), I was able to pass emissions testing, my car runs better than ever, anddddd best of all I didn t break the bank .. 5 stars all around

Since 2017 I have trusted Erik from Invictus Automotive with all the cars I have ever owned Erik is a well knowledgeable mechanic that will bend over backwards for you not only will he fix the problem the right way he is the only mechanic I ve ever dealt with that shows you what was wrong with your car and give you a little lesson on it I will always go to this mechanic first choice great job and keep doing what you do

Very knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects, i am mechanically savvy myself and when in the final stretch of a performance project i needed help with the wiring of the vehicle, eric had come to me offering his assistance and walked me through everything that we meed to do and educated me through the process, overall very honest and very thorough when it comes to doing things the proper way, would trust him woth anything going forward, thanks eric!
