Called and told them I was going south in three weeks and thought I had made an appointment to get my Yamaha motorcycle serviced. Took it to them when they said to bring it up. Two weeks later and they haven't touched it as their only trusted mechanic to adjust valves is out sick. They said they would get it to me on another week or two. Went and picked it up untouched. Now I'm $50 in gas for nothing. Similar attitude at other Yamaha dealers. Think I will buy a Kawasaki.

I ve bought a Kawasaki ninja h2 carbon from here they did warranty work on it before and had no problem. I went back to them for the same problem but they turned me away saying I dropped my bike even though I never had when I received back from them I had damage all along the inner liner of my fairing. Do not go here or buy a bike from here. I have spent a lot of money here just for them to fix my bike the wrong way. Microbore is a far better shop and genuinely cares about your bike. While here just wants to get an extra buck out of you

I ve had my ups and downs with preferred powersports, I ve purchased snowmobiles and parts through them for years. For awhile it was agh rats, guess I ll try another dealership but it s been like that now for almost 4 years, each year they carry less and less. I would be shocked if they stocked sparks at this point. I brushed this off also, it wasn t until one of my good friends brought their 23 boost to preferred for a warranty item that needed to be fixed that I finally realized this place has hit rock bottom. The sled has 850 miles on it. With fuel/air issue. We dropped it off on a Tuesday, by Thursday they notified us they were waiting to hear from polaris. By friday they had told us there was a few codes they were able to clear and they started it on the fork lift and ran it, it seemed to work fine. So we agreed to come up and get the snowmobile, at this point I had very little confidence in anything they had(not sure if they were mechanics or IT techs). But we picked it up and sure enough as soon as we got it off the trailer we noticed the problem had not gotten even a little bit better. We decided to take it up to empire power sports(formally Ingles). Within 24 hours they had contacted us with pictures and an explanation into what they had found. A clamp on the throttle body/PTO had fallen off and was more than likely our issue, they ordered the parts that day. Thankfully for us, there is still some old school mom and pop sled shop mentality even after being acquired by empire. Save yourself the time and energy, drive the extra 20 minutes to Empire. It s worth it.

I recently purchased a Honda Navi from PPS. The salesperson, Bill Barlow, was easy to work with. He accommodated my schedule and made delivery happen just two days after purchase (on a holiday), when the regular delivery guy was off. He drove it himself! There was no movement on price, including destination, set-up, etc., but that's not surprising for an in-demand Honda. Good experience, lots of inventory, will definitely recommend.

Very fast service, went above and beyond to get the deal done. Great customer service from the moment I walked in, I already knew what I wanted and they didn't try to push anything else and gave me real out the door numbers with no hidden fees

The people at this dealership are fantastic. Everyone is so nice and no one is pressuring you to buy something. They are all knowledgeable about all the brands they carry and can help you choose the right Motorcycle, scooter, ATV, etc for you. My sales guy is Jason and he was super nice to me and my wife when we bought our Honda Navi last year. Definitely a great place to go!!!

I had been looking for a Honda Pioneer 520 for months. I was on several Honda dealers call lists for when one became available. I called Preferred on a Friday and the Sales Person Bill told me a Pioneer 520 would be available the following Monday. I called Monday morning and Bill said the machine was out front ready to go. I arrived at 3:30 from 100 miles away and purchased the machine without any surprises. I am writing this review due to the extraordinary service I received from Zack in the service department. The trailer I brought to bring the machine home was really not appropriate for the size of the Pioneer. The tires were almost flat and the trailer didn't have the right anchor points to fasten it down. Long story short, young Zack took the time to patiently prepare the trailer as best he could and get the machine secured properly. I made the 100 mile trip back home without and hitches (pun intended). I called Preferred management the next morning and asked them to thank Zack for the exceptional customer service.

Buying experience 3 stars. Delivery experience zero.Once the check clears, the facade comes off:Countless phone calls - all ignored - to confirm delivery. Finally picked up a $25K PWC 30 minutes before closing.Salesperson couldn't be bothered to explain features and functionality - registration numbers not affixed, etc.More interested in being able to leave on time.Worst experience ever.

We purchased a Sea Doo Switch Pontoon boat from Preferred Powersports last month. We worked with Greg L, he did a phenomenal job making sure everything was perfect, he went above and beyond to offer us great customer service and his attention to detail made us feel very comfortable. We love the boat and we are so pleased with Preferred Powersports we plan on returning for any boat service needs and winter storage.

The guys there were really rude and couldn't haggle on any prices. I had called 2 days prior and they had said they have 7 or 8 in stock. I get there and there was only 1. And it was pretty expensive so I had asked what he could do with cash up front. But he couldn't drop the price any so I

My name is Joshua Rios. Bill Barlow helped me buy my first Yahama Jetski. The process was 10/10 and the staff helped me purchase three life vest and a cover for my jetski. If you are serious about purchasing anything come here and you will be in great hands. Thanks

They did well enough on my bike inspection. Made it easy to find things for my motorcycle and a fairly easy helmet purchase. Also they didn't yell at us for my kid climbing all over the atvs.

Purchasing the Kayo 70 was great. But the rest of our experience has been complete trash. Not even a month of our son riding his quad in the yard it broke. We contacted them and they said they would look at it turn around time was slow but we were trying to be patient. 3 weeks of them having the Kayo 70 we contacted them, they said their service guy was going to look at it that Friday or Saturday, ok. Waited till Wednesday the guy was supposed to call my husband back and he never did so I called and he said the guy was only part time and he hadn t had a chance to look at it would look at it the next day. Didn t hear anything. So finally my husband went to pick it up to have it serviced else where. Well when we picked it up, the spark plug was hanging, and the gas line was left unhooked. So kudos to the service for doing an awesome job, not. I will never recommend them to anyone ever.

Stay away, this place is primarily concerned with the bottom dollar, I would shop else where because you will get taken advantage of. I will post different invoices, received from different sales associates, that contradict each other. Unfortunately, it's the only place in Syracuse that sells can am Rykers.

Thank you Brad for finding one of the last electrical actuator cylinders for my 2012 Polaris Ranger plow. He was super friendly and helpful in tracking down this difficult to find part. In fact he got two for me! Thanks again Brad!

We had been looking for nearly a year for a Honda Talon and saw that Preferred Powersports had one. My boyfriend sent in an email and Bill Barlow responded quickly! We put a deposit down and picked it up the following Saturday! We are about 3.5 hours south of them and did everything over email and the phone. Bill was great! Everything from the start went smoothly. We could not be happier with our purchase and the experience!!

My 3500 mile trip on my XT225 was saved by this shop, especially mechanics Zach, Phil and Josh. Thanks a million for making time for me despite being super busy this summer.

Recently moved here and needed a Yamaha dealership for parts. Went in to purchase brake fluid. Had it in stock at a decent price. Asked the parts guy if I could say hello to a service tech I recently learned worked there who I hadn't seen in 43 years since high school. Told me no, they were too busy. OK, I get it. Then wanted to set up a time to get a bike serviced. Said they weren't making appointments and to call back in August. Wouldn't even set up a date because "if they schedule too far out, people forget". Felt very unwelcomed and won't return back even though I own 2 Yamahas. Certainly won't buy a new bike there. First impressions are important in retail.

Awesome experience. The salesman named Bill has helped us purchase a four wheeler and I am also a proud owner of a dual sport street legal dirt bike because of him. Thanks for the excellent experience and customer service

Been there 4 times, they are overpriced for accessories. I went for a helmet it was almost twice the price as every where else. I was willing to give them the business but they would not budge at all on price so I purchased it else where . Dropped my quad off for work they never finished assembling it and I got water on my belt drive. Another time I am trying to order parts from them but did not have all info, they would not ask the mechanic about problem so I could order the part. There answer is drop it off... So they lost that sale also. The only good visit there was my first time I went, I needed oil the guy was helpful and friendly and off I went.

Great motorcycle service and sales location. I was on a cross state trip when I had a bit of an urgent situation. When I contacted them they were very helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable and friendly service provided by everyone I encountered. Highly recommend them and they would be my go to shop if I lived in the area.

Awesome customer service. Cashiers were very helpful with any questions I had. They allowed me to sit on any and all bikes I found interesting. They had a good selection of gear, more to come during the summer they said. Overall, pleasant visit and I will be coming back.

Service department has ludacris wait times, and give preferential treatment to those who purchased bikes through the dealership. I called in the beginning of June for a quick 15 minute service, it is now September and I am still "on the waitlist". They've asked me numerous times if I bought my bike through them and after I say no, they continue on with the spiel that it "will be just a couple more weeks". It's a shame they are the only dealership to service triumph in the area. I understand summer is the busy season, but they've taken simply too long.

A bit slow for my taste and needs,i.e.,you have to make an appointment to have bike work done...so you do expect it will sit there a week before they touch it! Pointless to make appointment if they are not ready to attend to it.
