We rented a boat here in the summer. You do need to get here early to get a boat and to get on the water quickest. It is truly first come, first serve, but they do have a lot of boats. The person who helped was the granddaughter of the company, and she was awesome, very helpful, and informative of where to go. It may be pricey, but it's well worth it.

Great place to rent jetskis and take off on to Lake George. Their staff was easy to work with and we had a great time cruising around the lake.

In and out on the water quickly with a prior reservation. All the staff was super nice and make it really easy to go get in and out for a first time boater. The 150 HP Tritoon and a tube is the way to go for maximum fun!!

We rent a pontoon boat from here every September and camp on one of the islands with friends. The staff is always friendly and we never have any issues. Everybody is so helpful.

What do you get from Google text Marina was very professional and I had a great time I personally only rented the jet ski but the gentleman that took me out was very cool they take you past a certain area and then they kind of just let you rip as much as you want you just have to not be around boats so it was decently priced but had a great time and I highly recommend this place this is if you're in Lake George Town it is in between on your way to Kate's on Bolton Landing so it's in between those two you'll see it's on the right hand side driving from town

Great boating experience... Jack had us on the water in no time. Expensive to do all the time but worth it to go once a year.. 438$ 3 hrs with a tube for a pontoon for 4 kids 4 adults..

Great time and nice boat. Rented a 90 HP Boston Whaler. Great size, enough power, and reasonable prices. Friendly staff, and Andrew specifically was very thorough in explaining how everything works, much appreciated.Make sure to take plenty of sunscreen and rent the tubes if you are traveling with children, well worth it. If you are having trouble locating the Marina on the way back, easiest to just pull it up on Google Maps and navigate towards it.One suggestion: Please chek on the tubes before giving them out, ours was a bit deflated and we didn't check before heading out.

We took an hr boat tour and it was the best experience ever. Our captain was Dan . He made sure everyone was comfortable and safe gave us a tour around the lake and answered all of our questions. Thank you Dan for making it happen for us you are the best. Goodluck with everything. I would totally recommend Chics marina.

So most of these Google reviews were not too helpful. So for the boats you will want to reserve them ahead of time, my wife and I book our trip the same week we went up, this place so that wasn't happening. They are first come first serve for what ever is left, the person in front of us got the last non reserved boat for the day, we got there at 8:15 am, right after they opened. Boats don't appear to go out until about 9:30 am. There is parking across tbe street up the hill, don't park at the Algonquin you will.get towed per employees. Jets skis can be rented same day, we managed to go out on thw first tour, its 10 min out 30 minutes go within a set area and back, $80 for one rider, + $5 for a secons rider. That was great, easy and simple. They were spraying down the jetskis and life vest for covid protection which was nice to see. You can also reserve a time during the day. They were all nice and it was fun, no comments on the boats just Jetskis!

I have never been so disappointed with customer service in my life. From the day we went Down to chics marina to rent the boat is been awful. Nikki was very rude to my fiance and daughter gave them a hard time for notbooking on line. He wanted to rent it in person and pay in full and guess that was wrong because she was slamming the paper on the counter with attitude. So after that all happened I called to talk to ray who is the owner to complain about the service we received and he could care less. Now today we go to pick up rental and no one tells us we shouldn't take the boat out bc weather is bad. So we realize 45 minutes on the water it's terribly choppy and horrible to drive in and I call to ask to bring the boat back if we could get credit for another day. Once again ray says no credit for another day you already took the boat ou unbelievable they rather we drive in bad weather. Unsafe company and bad customer service. If this is how they treat locals I can't imagine if your from out of town. So much for a great day with our family.

It was such a good experience and I highly recommend. My father always wanted to try out a jet ski and the experience we had was wonderful. We even came back later with my sisters to do the banana boat ride. 10/10 recommend.

I rented a boat on 6/18/2023. Horrible weather but my 10 year old son and I showed-up to try to make the best of it. I barely got the boat off the dock and into the lake. Immediately, I realized I had no control over the boat. After 20 MINUTES on the boat, I was charged $550!!This is the cost for an entire rental day!! The wind was blowing the boat left and right, waves were splashing all over the driver's side, and the water was so choppy that I couldn't go any faster than 5 miles an hour. Turned the boat around and waited for help from their staff to get the boat in. I talked with the managers Rory and Kristin DePace and they couldn't be bothered. I asked them to work with me, charge me a couple hundred bucks for an hour, but they refused any refund because this is their "policy" and I signed paperwork agreeing to it. Unbelievable, Chic's doesn't respond to emails, and management is "busy" whenever you call. Stay away!!

Rented a tritoon for the 6 of us and our dog. Very friendly and informative. The boat was spacious and in great condition. Parking for a class b rv was easy. Friendly and helpful. Definitely will go back and recommendthem

Rent a boat from them every year. These guys are the best. Always friendly and knowledgeable. If you tell them what you re looking to do they will point out on map. Had an issue on the water with prop, called them up from boat, guy was there in 20 minutes, changed prop and we were up and running!

Very poor service, and only care about getting maximum amount of money out of you. For decades, my father always refused to do business with them and now I know way. There are so many better marinas on Lake George to use. Save your time and money and avoid Chic's unless you want to waste a lot of money for the worst service on the lake. (from someone who has been boating on Lake George for over 50years)

A lil pricey and wish the guys at the dock took a lil more time explaining everything. We had a nice day on the water and a nice meal at Algonquin afterwards.

I have been here 3 times over the course of 10 years. Each time for jet skiing while on vacation and each time was amazing! The marina is well kept, staff are friendly, and the jet skis are so fun!

Had a great time, Tommy and the crew at Chics are great. Will definitely recommend it to anyone. Piece of advice, keep your personal belongings - in particular car keys- with the staff, one of our guys flipped and we lost his keys and that was a setback, but made for a great experience nonetheless as the staff was ever so helpful.

This place is the place you want to go to ride wave runners. The workers are very friendly and well the lack is just amazing. You will hsve fun and who knows you might just go back for a second ride

The banana boat was so much fun and definitely one of my favorite parts of visiting Lake George. I also heard some people say the guided jet ski tours were a lot of fun!

Pontoon boat steering wheel was locking up during the day on the water. Luke(the worker who docked us) said the steering wheel wasn t working right. I spoke to the manager Rory about the problem & asked if he could just refund the float that we rented for our problems with the boat & he callously said no (even though his own employee said there was a problem. Ans he actually used a profanity while we were discussing it. Unprofessional, and the boats are definitely not being checked properly, as he said the employee who told me it wasn t right was probably some 17 year old kid. That s who s checking out these boats before you take them out. I d stay clear & rent somewhere else.

Great friendly place. Staff is helpfull and parking is across the street. Pontoon boats could use a second anchor. I will definitely go back.

Had a great time on the lake thanks to the professionals at Chics. Original date got rained out and they let me switch to the next day. Thanks to Nikki and the entire crew. We will be back!!

Dan was awesome and professional. Boat was in great shape and worked perfectly. Prices were reasonable for the area especially on Lake George. The rest of the staff were also very professional and to the point (which I like). Whoever gave this marina a bad review clearly doesn't understand how a business works. You pay for the boat, you leave a deposit, you're responsible for any damage, and you pay for the gas. It's how a rental boating business works. Definitely recommend this Marina. 10 stars if I could give it! Thanks Dan.

We happened to come up to lake george on the most gorgeous weekend. We rented a boat at chics. They were very accommodating with Many boats available. Prices are well worth it . The boat was safe and ran great. The views are fantastic when your boating on the lake. Like I said we came up on the most gorgeous weekend with Crystal clear skies with the lake and the mountains ranges. Looked like a painting

Great experience!! Can not say enough about the staff. They go above and beyond with everything they do. The price was excellent. From now on this is the only place my family will rent from!
