Peter , Josh and Andrew are incredible. Folks had told me to sell my car and get a Honda or something boring because the roof no longer worked when I took it to Peter he told me that he would make the car look like new. He fixed the roof, put in a new stereo and detailed the car to such a standard that it was 10 times better than when it went into the shop. The team were reliable, friendly and helpful, once even dropping me to the station, they did the job within a week, and I could not be more satisfied. The pricing was fair and reasonable, unlike what I see in the Hamptons, the car looks incredible and I am so thrilled to drive it now. My friend recommended coming here and I second that. Peter and his team are a rarity these days. These guys are honest and provide quality work at fair prices. Had them replace the headliner on my dad's Mercedes convertible hardtop. Glad I found these guys and would highly recommend.

The best quality and service ever! Very impressed and happy I went to them to work on my prized possession.Peter did an amazing job replacing the convertible top on my 2001 Boxster. I had already removed the old one and was finding it too challenging to complete the job...typical. Many other installers claimed that the aftermarket top and the fact I already worked on it would present difficulties, but Peter was very honest and said that the results might not be exactly the same as an OEM or premium top.He did an outstanding job for a completely reasonable price, and it was completed very quickly. When I picked up the car, he gave me instructions on how to let the top settle in best to the frame and over the course of a few days, what few small wrinkles (pic with beach sticker visible, day I picked up) there were settled out of the top quickly (other pic 2 days later).Along with the great appearance and functionality of the freshly installed top, I have a strong suspicion that the shop leather conditioned and cleaned the seats of the car. This place is top notch for attention to detail and customer care. I would definitely return to them for any upholstery work on my car and recommend them to my family, friends and anyone who reads this review! You will not regret it!!!

So far so good! We just went in for a consult on a leaky roof and they already patched us up with a cool giant roll of tape! People are nice, I don't get that "they're going to rip us off" vibe at all. Will update this after the repairs

My 2017 Infinity has a glass roof that had a ding in it on the exterior but was shattered on the interior. They replaced the entire roof and the motorized shade. A professional job! The car was returned in immaculate condition. Cleaned inside and out. The owner (Peter) went above and beyond! I highly recommend them!

Horrible. I paid $97 for the headliner, hoping it would be precut to fit my car(otherwise, why was the model required on the website)? I just got a roll of the material that I could buy on Amazon for $30 total.Service: Custom upholstery designService: Custom upholstery design

Excellent communication. They offer as many free samples as you need. The headliner fabric is really good quality and shipping was fast.

The sunroof exploded on my vehicle. The insurance company ordered the part. As soon as it arrived I received a call from the shop. They were able to get me in right away as we were approaching a long holiday weekend. Josh did a meticulous job. Thanks Pete & Josh. Job well done! Highly recommend!

An absolute worst headliner ever. The material that came in was extremely cheap and the glue was also worse than 3M(which is cheaper than the one this company sells). Overall, very disappointing with the purchase and wouldn't recommend it.

I needed the roof replaced on my baby ( 06 Sebring) and Peter came to my rescue. He communicated with me through the whole process and I ended up with a quality top at a great price. The customer service can t be beat. As an unexpected bonus, the interior of my car hasn t been this clean since I bought it! Thank you!

Had a great experience with Peter and staff at Moonlighting Auto Tops. They offer a wide variety of services and he took the two dents out of my truck - you couldn't even tell it happened. Also, restored my VW beetle with new top and floor boards - quality work at a great price! Would definitely recommend.

I brought a 2010 Jeep Liberty to Moonlighting Auto Tops to see what they could do to repair the retractable fabric Skyslider roof. I knew that Jeep doesn t make OEM replacement parts for the Skyslider roof, so I was aware that it was something that may not be fixable or replaceable; even if it was possible, such a repair would run in the thousands, as the roof parts alone cost over $2k for OEM when they were still in production.The owner, Peter, was honest and upfront about the job, saying that repairing or replacing the roof was not worth the money or time, and instead offered to permanently seal the fabric rooftop. In the end, cost me only a few hundred.I really appreciate the honesty with this business, as another shop might have tried to convince me to pay a few thousand dollars for a fix that would not have lasted very long, leaving me back where I started.The permanent seal was all done and the jeep was ready to pick up the same day I dropped it off, so the service was quick. I couldn t pick it up the same day but they were very accommodating to my schedule.I highly recommend this shop for convertible or sunroof repairs. Honest business, quick service, and the owner is a genuine guy.

If you purchase your own top, do not bother going here. I purchased a brand new Robbins top, in the box untouched..went here to get an estimate about how much it would cost for them to install it. Guy was pretty dismissive I don t install customers tops . No what why how or where..just a dirty downward look and 5 words.At the end of the day, completely his prerogative, its his business after all..but if it s warranty issues that s on the customer to decide. It s not like I walked in with a handful of t-shirts and said slap these on. Robbins is one of the best in the biz, and I haven t laid a finger on the top besides carry the box.Just be up front, charge your fee and call it a day. Or at least make the effort to explain why..not very professional.

I came to this shop on March 30, 2019 and was very satisfied with the service. Peter assured me that my car was in good hands and answered any and all questions I had for him. The service was done quite quickly and Peter was a professional and respectful gentleman.

Quick and efficient. They replaced my sunroof and cleaned up the glass from the old one within 30 minutes! No problems with newly installed sunroof.

Poor customer service, I had a vintage vehicle left here for OVER 5 YEARS. The job was never completed, the owner Peter never kept in contact. He will avoid your phone calls. If you can't do the job, don't take the job. It's as simple as that. Don't even bother going to this place. Save yourself time, money and the headache.

I had an issue with my sunroof that I was going crazy about. I was immediately referred to Moonlighting and they fixed my issue in less than 5 minutes. Professional and kind staff. Will definitely be returning again!
