This place scammed my wife into buying a new battery. We went to our mechanic we trust to run more tests just to be safe, and they had said there have been multiple times this has happened this week alone. Absolutely horrible to prey on people in this way, we will never go back.

The oil change was quick and easy but very expensive. I don't think I will go back unless it is an emergency. The young man who helped me was a little strange. When I pulled up and got out to ask if it was still OK to get an oil change he just stared at me intensely for about 30 seconds without blinking or answering me. After that very uncomfortable 30 seconds all he said was pull it inside. There are 3 bays so I asked which one. He walked away. So I just pulled up to the middle one. So he opened that bay door. It was a very weird experience.

As a single woman and pastor, I need people that I can trust. My car has to go whenever I am called. Over the years. I have built my trust in this group of folks, both Front St and Vestal. I appreciate that they treat me like an adult who is responsible for her own car. I also appreciate the women who work there. Its the only place I go for oil changes and basic services.

I had my oil change yesterday and today I noticed that my skid plate was hanging down. They never bolted it back on. I went back to a different location and they said they would fix it if I waited in line and it was three cars deep. I was definitely upset and probably a jerk to those guys and left. I did calm down some and went to the original location that changed my oil, hoping to at least get the bolts back so I could fix my skid plate. The other location had called ahead warning them that some crazy guy was coming and they were ready and immediately fixed it. So, bottom line is they made a mistake and then they fixed it so I m good again.Service: Oil change

Was not greeted by an associate or asked what we were there as usual, I wrongfully assumed this just meant they were fully staffed and ready for their customers. I proceeded to wait 35 minutes in line behind one other customer only to be moved forward and told they no longer do state inspections. One might think with the myriad of physical mail and email they send their customers, myself included, they would have given their customers notice of this, especially customers who got their vehicles inspected there last year. Incredibly poor customer service and communication.

Honestly not that friendly during pick up. Got a oil change and inspection. Employee pretty rude while picking up. Then hands me my oil change sticker for me to put on. Why not put it on when they did the oil change. Also Why was my oil setting not reset after the oil change? I left my car here for multiple hours for the price they charge one would assume they could remove the old sticker and put a new one on and reset the oil setting? Did they even do the oil change according to the setting on my Jeep that s a NO. But is that just because they were lazy and never reset it or did they just charge me and not do it?Service: Oil change

I don't normally write reviews but I just had the best and easiest experience at Valvoline. I pulled in at 1143 am and was greeted by 3 very polite and friendly gentlemen. These guys were all professional I had a rounded off oil plug very hard to get out but they kept working on it they put a new oil plug in for me these guys are the best if you have a chance to go there they put in $120% into their work give them a try you won't be sorry

Absolutely awesome, the best customer service I've received in a very long time, if you need an oil change(and other things) go here. Phenomenal, anyone who's given a bad review was probably unhappy with either the prices or was having a bad day already. These guys are fantastic, do an excellent job very quickly, they direct you, check your tire pressure at no charge to you, checked my engine air filter was there for an oil change and tire rotation, when the tire rotation was started they said my lugnuts were swollen and didn't proceed to do it instead of stripping the nuts and didn't charge me for the rotation as they couldn't do it even though partial service was performed, I will continue going here and advise you to do the same.

Had to wait 45m to get in the garage, staff was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. Cost was reasonable. The part that bothers me is, days after I left, I received an email stating the battery in the car that was there, they recommend I replace it. Little did they know that battery is less than 6 months old, practically brand new. This is just how they SCAM you into ADD ON& Upgrades, that may or may not be NEEDED. If they wld have told me this at the shop, I gladly would have showed them the receipt for the new battery. Annoyed Customer.

If you're looking for a knowledgeable courteous group of mechanics this is the place. I have always received excellent customer service even during the pandemic. They're honest and upfront with their services and prices. The oil change was fine. I got a tire rotation where they told me they were going to also check my tire pressure, but after I left my light never turned off. I had to come back 2 days later and of course I have to wait in line, okay, but at this point I ve paid them with money and now my time. I didn t receive I service I paid for and it s very frustrating.Services: Tires, Oil change

From my experience they've been honest thorough and explain things to you and personally I trust them. They all work very hard there and I appreciate their service. Nowadays with people avoid work quit their jobs for stupid reasons I appreciate individuals like these men who are there doing the best they can to service us and take care of their families. An expression of appreciation so just thank you is always good appropriate but to go a little extra mile in your expression in my opinion is even better in my opinion.

Good, straightforward, and friendly service. I went here for a state inspection, which I successfully got, but they do NOT offer them here anymore. If you call corporate, they will help you find a location that gives you the business that you need!

If you go to valvoline only get an oil change or inspection, don t buy into their other services. I went in for an oil change. They told me my car s battery needed to be replaced (I was skeptical as it was only a year old). I brought my car into my regular mechanic who tested my battery and found that it was in great condition. Convenient for an oil change just don t fall for their other sale gimmicks.Service: Oil change

Do not go here! I filed a claim with Binghamton valvoline because my dipstick tube was broken by force (confirmed by Vestal Valvoline and my mechanic) at Valvoline. The manager denied my claim, stated it broken because of rust before he even looked at my car, and seemed to play off the fact I was a woman and assumed I didn t know what I was looking at or talking about. His attitude was startling and I have no idea why he felt he could speak to me the way he did. Not just as a customer but as a person.He told me that his opinion on it was correct because he s a professional. (His words.) when I asked him if that meant my mechanic and the other Valvoline weren t professionals he just shrugged. I called corporate and asked to escalate this and offered to provide pictures to prove lack of rust and the opinions of other mechanics and they said that the manager has sole power to deny claims.Went there for an oil change and now have hundreds of dollars of fees to get this fixed due to the labor required. So not only do I have to pay for this, but I had to endure the worst customer service possible.Service: Oil change

If I could give this buisness a zero stars I would do yourself a favor and go to your local car dealership for oil changes. This company is responsible for blowing up my 2022 Jeep wagoneer a engine! This car has less then 17000 miles!Upon filing a complaint they never even had a licensed technician come out to look at the vehicle they had there unlicensed store manager come out who by far is extremely unprofessional showing up in ripped jeans and did not even take off his sunglasses to look at the damage! Due to improper placement of the oil filter I now have a brand new vehicle that needs a new motor! These employees and buisness should be ashamed!That s what you get with having untrained workers to complete the most simple performance on a vehicle!Service: Oil change

My son went to this business has been going there for years with same car just had his car inspection done here went to get his car a oil change after doing manifold gasket so of course there is gonna be oil on engine they refused to do his oil change took off his air filter box and didn't put it back on right made his check engine light come on the service is terrible.
