I'm a first-time customer, I needed a headlight replacement, they were recommended by the Auto Zone close by, I stopped in without an appointment, and they managed to squeeze me in. They do professional work with excellent pricing and awesome attitudes.

Had to have an engined changed first engine came in bad fought for us so we didnt have to use our warrenty to replace it. Having a hard time with the emissions inspection keep working to make sure we had our vehicle.. Now we have it finally have our vehicle and running better than ever!!

These guys are always amazing. Replaced a tie rod for me, put on my other set of wheels, performed an alignment along with straightening out my steering wheel, which another shop said that everything aside from the alignment was fine when I knew that it wasn't.If you are looking for an honest shop that knows what they are doing, look no further, this is the crew.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Proficient automotive is the best mechanic shop around. I don't trust no one but them. They are amazing people who care about your vehicle. This place is very exceptional. They are very polite and very fast. They find any problems answering show you what they did to fix them. I have never been more pleased with a garage. I will go there from now on. I am very pleased with the whole team. Excellent service

This place has been nothing but professional. They truly hold up to their name. They helped me fix my van for a decent price and with complete confidence. I highly recommend this place!!(UPDATE) I just got done having these guys replace both of my wheel bearings! They did professional work with excellent pricing yet again!Honestly, I don't think I'm going to another garage again. You can either take the risk of hoping you'll get professional work done with good pricing or you can just come to these guys and put your worries to rest.

My husband has known Alex for a while (I won't say a looking time because he'll be offended that I'm calling him old ) and told me he's always taken his vehicles to Alex for service. That's a good enough endorsement for me!Proficient has a great team; they really know what they're doing, and care about their customers. They never leave us in doubt that they've done what they can to get our vehicles back on the road. From routine maintenance and tire changes, to more advanced troubleshooting and repairs, they're always ready. Even willing to do pre-purchase inspections for used cars.And the costs are completely reasonable too, which is great becuase in the last couple years my 180K+ mile Jeep Compass has needed a LOT of work.

The staff at Proficient Automotive are great. All of their cost information is clearly posted inside their office where you pay for their services. I have bought a car from Alex and it was perfect. Always got my work done in a timely manner and informed me of any changes that occurred during a servicing. They make time for their customers and care about things done right the first time around. Pricing is normal/better than any other shop I ve gone to. Alex is an excellent mechanic and is more than reasonably priced. He is the best shop around town bar none. Keeps in communication regarding status and expected pricing. 12/10 would recommend to anyone who asks and I ve been using his shop for years now.

very unprofessional, dropped my car off first thing in the morning at open, told me they would take a look at the car and i called throughout the day to check in. by the time it was near closing i called multiple times and no answer up until closing. would have appreciated a courtesy call, at least telling me what s going on or if they didn t have enough time and the car needed to stay overnight. (said they would call me back too)

I just want to say Thank You for the Great Service. So Professional and Straight To The Point. Pleasant Young Owner Alex has a Great Talent and Passion of what he does. His employee Bill was working on my car, and I need to say he was knowledgeable and very professional, not to mention very clean. I actually bought a 2005 Toyota Highlander from here, in great shape. When an exhaust leak happened they responded very quickly and fixed my vehicle fast and the right way. Not many shops as honest and hardworking as these left around. Alex (owner) is a great honest man, who will not scam you. I will always bring my vehicle here, even though it s an hour from me.Highly recommend!

Scheduled an appointment and had my car serviced as soon as I got there. Great staff, professionalism all around and reasonable rates. There are local mechanics who all have different prices in terms of parts and labor, but the folks here had fair prices. Thanks Alex for helping me with my car!

Private auto family that will not jip you in any way! Make sure you talk with Alex to make sure his grand mechanics are giving you detailed valuable informative info. On your car needs. And they do a great thorough job at its finest! For example my lower gasket is leaking a little and can wait to be fixed with a 1000 price tag as long as I keep 50/50 coolant at its fill line. Some mechanics may rush it and say needs fixing NOW or you will be in trouble, right? Talk with Alex he will take care of your car care with NO rush or bush. Or fuss.....

Anytime I've ever been in a pinch with something I can't handle myself they have been there to get it done and the work gets done in a reasonable time frame and with excellent quality considering most times they are already busy with other customers. They are 1 of only 2 people other than myself I will even let work on my vehicles. Had Alex and bill from proficient do a clutch upgrade on my WRX. They did a great job in a timely fashion and also provided the best price for installation in town. If you are looking for a reliable straight forward shop that isn't going to rake you over the coals give them a call.
