I was referred to Nu Look through an insurance claim. The bumper and back left quarter panel were damaged and Nu Look said they would replace bumper and obviously fix all dents. Quoted 3-4 days. 2 weeks later I get my car back and I must admit the paint job was beautiful, hence the 1 star I did give them. Other than that completely horrified by the job. First off my bumper was not replaced yet the insurance company was billed for a replacement bumper. On my drive home the bumper almost fell off because not a single push pin, and 2 bolts were never installed. Not only the bumper but in total 17 push pins around the back of car were not installed. The belt line molding was broke during disassembly and instead of ordering a new one as they should have they just glued it on and didn't even get it straight which left a large un even gap. The door weather stripping was installed on the fender molding instead of the door. That I caught upon picking up car so made them fix it immediately. The body work is noticeably wavy around the gas filter door and the bumper where they re worked it (again this was supposed to be a bumper replacement) Left taillight is now loose as well. Have also found a chip due to the bumper protector being put on wrong so it was hitting the hatch. So far I've spent $ 324 to fix the issues they caused. Push pins, license plate mount, touch up paint, bolts, belt line molding, and bumper protector. I'm not sure any garage can be trusted fully however when they are charging as much as they do for labor and are charging for new parts that clearly were not new then something should be said to help others avoid such a place.

The office staff were wonderful. They absolutely destroyed my paint job, though. I had a dent in my driver's door and they returned it completely scratched and just a mess. Buffer swirls all over the car. I didn't notice at first, until my car was in the sun, after I drove away.I'm not sure what happened, they've done beautiful work for me in the past, but this is beyond subpar repair work. It was a small dent and now my entire right side clear coat is shot.

Personally, I just received my car back. The work was in good condition! During my time with them we battled out the insurance company ,had a holiday, drove a loaner car toward the end due my rental ran out ,parts were not ready, and the shop got the stomach bug all around 2 months. However, they were good for the most part about keeping me up to date I did get on there case due to delay of returning my vehicle. The amount of things I had torn out of the back section to fix it was 5 pages long. Not everything is perfect because the reassemble and paint took longer . I will say they did what they could to get it finished they had multiple cars past orginal deadlines and overbooked themselves.They were way past there estimated finish date by two months . They cost me money waiting longer for the repair. I didn t return I had a different company do my repair from the deer hitting it. My relative and I both agreed the other company had better customer service and had the same guarantees!

My car was in for repair, paid by insurance in full. They were polite, gave updates routinely (twice weekly, ~Tues & Thurs). They went over the list, talking line-by-line about what needed to be done (like taking off nearby parts) for repairs. They also did some cleaning inside (of at least the floor mats), which was unexpected and unmentioned. I accidentally left a bunch of quarters inside but it seemed untouched.It was supposed to be in for 5 days but there was supplemental damage which extended it another week (mainly parts delay). It was disappointing when they revised the estimate to the next Monday (originally Friday) but apparently it was just to be safe because it was done by the original Friday target. There was a misunderstanding where one employee said repairs were finished but they were waiting on payment from insurance (which I called and they already said went through) but calling back again I got someone else who said the car would be ready to pick up. I'm not an expert in pricing but it feels like they want to do full, proper, restoration work but that also commands a premium price.The repairs seem well-done (looks new) and I'm more than happy with the job done.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I took my car to Nu-Look to have it fixed after a accident. I was told it would be in the shop for 14-17 business days unless there was other issue when tearing it down to fix.As with my luck it needed more parts so that extended the pick up date on my car as they had to order the parts.upon pick up I notice bubbling in the paint, I went back in and told them about it. They than went and talked to the employee who painted it he told them that it was probably from the humidity and to bring it back in a couple weeks to have it buffed out. Upon picking my car up it was the same. I then went back in and told them that they didn't get the bubbles out,I next talk to the manager who came out to look at my car to say the least she wasn't very happy with the job that was originally done on my car. She than told me to bring my car back and they would repaint it and put me in a rental car until mine was ready. Upon pick up my car was repainted and had no bubbling. I would absolutely recommend Nu-Look to anyone in need!! They are extremely professional and friendly! The staff kept in constant contact with me, calling me just about every day to let me know what was going on with my car. They helped to navigate the insurance so i did not have to worry about a thing. And best of all, the work looked AMAZING!!! Couldnt even tell something was broken. And they even did a little cleaning on the inside which was a nice extra touch. Would definitely use them again if needed

Very professional and helpful. I ve taken my car here twice over the years for body work (insurance job), and they do an excellent job. Most recently, after a deer hit, they had my car a total of 8 business days. They communicate regularly about parts/progress/etc, take the time to do the job right, and give a good wash and detail when they re done.

A day after my birthday I hit a deer with my Audi S5 and everything in the front needed replacement. Luckily it was all cosmetic. Nu-look used all OEM parts. A month later I got my car back. Gotta have patience for quality. I believe they are the best around the area. Paint looks great and it comes with a 5 yr warranty. Any concerns I had after they addressed it.

My vehicle took less time than anticipated to get fixed due to the extreme caring staff.It was well maintained.I was given timely updates as well.Staff took care of most of the things with the insurance and it was a worry free process.Friendly staff too.

I had a slight parking lot incident (ugly scuffed bumper and scuffed headlight) and being new to the area, I wasn't quite sure which body shop I should choose to repair my car. After reading reviews and getting a few estimates, I decided to go with Nu-Look.From the moment I walked in for my estimate, I was impressed with the friendly and professional nature of their shop. My main contact person, John, was very helpful, answered all of my questions and was timely in responding to emails, calls etc as well. They completed the work in the time frame promised and even completed my NYS inspection.In the past, I haven't had the best of luck with body shops (had a bumper fall off after a week, poor paint jobs and the like) so I was a little nervous how my WRX would look and I couldn't be happier. The color was a perfect match and it is as if nothing ever happened to my car. Great service, great work and they just made an unpleasant experience a positive one.I hope to not need a shop going forward but I would highly recommend them to anyone in need. You may find cheaper shops out there but you get what you pay for.

painted a door on my crew cab chevy silverado. It was a tri-coat white paint which is the most difficult to match. It turned out perfect, matching the rest of truck. It was completed fast, fair priced, and excellent staff. Definitely would recommend

My most recent experience had a few hiccups with miscommunication, but overall they've done excellent work to repair my vehicle in a timely fashion. This is my third time needing them (thank you ice and deer) and I'd continue to utilize their services again!

My mom was having an issue with a sun roof. They were very helpful, honest, and the price was extremely reasonable. They made sure we understood why the problem happen. How they fixed it and what we can do to prevent it from happening again. I truly appreciated the time they took to explain everything to both my mother and myself.

Disappointed all around. Choose to bring my car here, based on past experience, but regretting that decision now. My door window glass had to be replaced. They were unable to get the work done in the timeframe originally estimated. After they worked on the car there was an alert flashing on the dash that they ignored and gave me the keys back.When we brought the car back they weren't able to determine what the alert was for. And told us to bring it to a dealer, where it was determined that the alert was caused by the work done at NuLook.That wasn't even the most upsetting part. We received really poor customer service. Repeatedly told that the issue could not possibly be their fault and than passing blame once it was determined that it was. Every conversation was borderline rude. We were treated like we were to blame as we spent HOURS trying to just get the car back in the way it was before we brought it in.

They did a great job and dealt with most of the insurance stuff to help it all go smoothly. My Jeep looks great and they even detailed it inside and out! Very happy with my experience.

Called on a Monday for an estimate was giving Thursday morning appointment. Get there Thursday we do walk around take pictures. Told me there s 2 cars ahead of me So Friday the next day of course I didn t expect to hear from them but Monday rolls by I call at 2pm just to see if there s any progress I was told by 5pm Monday or before 10am Tuesday... Tuesday no call nothing so I call back about same time and I m told the estimator is gone for the day... sooo Wednesday rolls in and still nothing. If you re too busy say that or if you re not interested say that but atleast communicate... I ve gotten super great professionalism from carstar on Conklin rd. That s where I ll be going thanks

Never usually expect great customer service at places like this, not only was the service fantastic but the work on my car was done quickly and efficiently. Can t speak about the price of the work since it was covered by insurance but if I need any work to any of my vehicles I ll definitely be back!

I find the quality of their work to be outstanding It's nice to have your Baby/Vehicle looks...back to before the accident. Plus their tow truck drivers are awesome. You're in good hands with this company.

Our staff goes above & beyond to try to make the entire repair/ mechanical process go as smoothly has possible. We will try every attempt to repair "Accident related items" for our customers. But sometimes if we can not "relate" the "issue" to the initial impact or damages caused by the accident our hands are tied by insurance on what they will cover/ pay for. Which in turn leads to negative reviews.

Totally dissatisfied, came back with several superficial scratches after taking it in for scratches. I expected so much more being referred by my insurance company. Right hand didn't know what the left was doing on many levels.

I have a Nissan Pathfinder and was told the cost will be expensive. The woman I spoke with on the phone estimated a price of $10,000 to change the color of my car. I ve never heard such prices before in my life !!Total ripoff, please go somewhere else.

Great people..... cant get over how they are so dedicated and caring they are to their clients. What a pleasure to have met them.
