Bought the car in February for 10k. Every couple weeks since then something new breaks. They say theres good tires. Flat in a couple months. Remote start broke. Engine problems 2 months after buying the car. Thank goodness the warranty program paid for it mostly but things keep breaking. Said "brand new rear brakes", I can't see how that's true if they are squeaking after 2 months. Very unsatisfied. Nice people. Shady business. They don't know the interiors for their cars to save their life. My tire goes to 18 psi from 35 in about a 15 minute drive

Family had bought a car from this dealership and didn't get a year out of it. Complained several times but the ownership had no desire to make it right . 6 months later the motor blows up and he says sorry only had a 30 day warranty . Great business standards hope karma comes calling. The family is Vinnie & Lori Ebert Incase ownership reads this

Had a wonderful experience, in less then 3 hours car was ready for us to drive off the lot, papers signed, boom! Very pleased with the quality of these used cars, specifically ours. Highly recommend! Can't wait to get one for myself!

I found a gorgeous car there but once you leave that lot he doesn't want to be bothered with any servicing or any other issues that you have with the car the car is over $15,000 car I think that is very unprofessional

Salesmen/ owner insisted a extended car warranty had to be included in my car loan or no deal as he put it to me. Very angrily. Said it would only be a couple xtra bucks a month. Sitting in his office in the middle of winter with no other choice but to buy the car because my previous Trucks transmission blew. I signed the predatory car loan with extended warranty. They did the inspection and registered the car and sent me on my way. After I showed the car to a friend a few weeks later, they commented there was no way the car could ve passed inspection. The ball joints and undercarriage was rusted and dangerously damaged. Car dealer refused to fix problem or take the car back. Warranty covered nothing.Spent next couple years trying to maintain a car that was literally falling apart and a money pit that couldn t pass inspections.. What a nightmare! I couldn t understand why my original loan had not decreased at all after 2 years of payments on a just under $7,000 loan, It was because the extended warranty that was forced on me was almost a $1000 a year!! After 2 years I gave up and let the bank repossess the jalopy. My credit is still severely damaged from all this. Don t go here!

Love my "new" truck....It's been about 6 months now and the F-150 I bought from these guys is doing great, and I'm pleased with it. I did have a minor coolant problem while under warranty and they brought it right in and fixed it, and the fixed it right and 100% at their cost without any hassles. I drive by this dealership often as I live nearby and these guys move a lot of cars and trucks for a small dealership, and i think that's because they offer great values. Honestly, the price was the main thing that attracted me to the truck I bought! That and it's overall condition. They are used car dealers, and no they don't go through and tune every car and change every wiper blade, but they do clean them up good and make them safe and nice at a very fair price. I have not had to do anything except an oil change to my truck in 6 months so I have no complaints....To all the negative comments out there, I'd say make sure you have a 3rd party look the vehicle over before you buy it if you don't know anything about mechanicals! My uncle also bought a car from these guys a few years back, a Subaru Forester that he loved and got a LOT of miles out of! I highly recommend this dealership, but like any used item purchase, do your homework !

Very easy process and very friendly people. Wife just picked up a Ford Fusion, great car. We looked at hundreds of other vehicles around the same year and they were either roached out or very high miles for similar price we're paying for this one at 59k miles. We're happy we took the chance to stop there.

Looking to buy my 4th car from #1 Preferred. My wife drives a Honda from them, Daughter bought her first car from them. The prices are good for very good cars. The current vehicle I have had for 4 years.Any problems or repairs I bring it and they fix it, usually for less than any other shop.I like Tom, Rich and Gary. The entire team is great.

I submitted an application, emailed, and called - nobody ever got back to me, ever returned my call, nothing. I was approved for financing on my own and at several dealers so it's not an issue of presuming me a waste of time - unless a waste of time to them is not being able to get over on you. It's a shame, and when I thought perhaps they are just too small and not on top of the wide spread presence they established online, I noticed updates regularly taking place. Considering I made more than one attempt to communicate with them and was left hanging and ignored, I wouldn't put any faith in their appreciation of the individual consumer.

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM! When I test drove the Traverse that I purchased, I questioned them on why it started so hard. I was told that it just needs a new battery and it would be taken care of before I came back to pick it up. I picked it up 3 days later hopped in and sure enough the problem was not resolved. At that point they informed me thats just how they made the Traverse to start . I am no mechanic but that didn t seem right but I took their word for it. I made it to the highway and once I got to 55 mph a horrible noise was coming from the rear. The dealership is now closed so I got it home and called first thing in the morning. I explained that it was my only vehicle and I was not able to leave it without a loaner and they understood until I got there... no loaner and the mechanic has no clue! I was very great full that the salesman allowed me to use his personal vehicle until mine was repaired. I take the 45 minute drive back to Binghamton, after work to pick up my repaired vehicle. Once again... 55 mph the noise is still there. I was told that they had replaced the rotor on the right side (even I know that you don t just change one rotor) and the issue was now taken care of. I now had some serious doubts in the integrity of this dealership. I took it to a local mechanic, he replaced the caliper on the left side and boom problem solved. Keep in mind, I am still have hard start issues and it s getting worse. My Traverse had to be towed yesterday! It left me sitting and would not start. Guess what... needed a new starter (not an easy fix in the Traverse). Not that I have finally had enough, I figured it was a good time to leave a review. They are truly a bunch of crooks that most likely would walk into a parts store and ask for blinker fluid. I am very disappointed! They are smooth talkers that have 0 morals. Please take my advice and the advice of many other reviewers (except reviews that employees left) and stay away from them, go to another dealership. Check reviews, test their knowledge of vehicles, and ask around. Do not trust them the way I did.

Sold me a truck, put 2000 miles on it in under 2 months and the power steering rack just exploded. I was pretty much told to get lost. Not happy. EDIT: I'm sorry you feel that way, I guess I'm just a little more honest than most, enjoy the review. wont be recommending you to anyone.

Did not purchase a car here, but have read the reviews. Notice that the good reviews on these dealerships are made up by dealers and employees. Future customers do look at these and go to other sights to discover dealerships are selling cars that they certify to the state to be roadworthy. If the car fails and is not roadworthy, buyers need to file complaints with DMV within 30 days. The dealership is required to return your money and you return the car. You can tell when the reviews are written by the dealership. Real consumers don't write the advertisement style remarks. They write what really took place! Do your homework, research to make sure your not being ripped off. There are good, fair dealers but you have to do your research to locate them. When you pay thousands for a used car, you are entitled to a reliable, roadworthy, safe car. There are laws in place to assure you of this but you also are required to protect yourself. There are bad actors ut there that will take your money and stick you with a nightmare. This is against the law but that does not stop some of these dealerships from breaking those laws. Again, know your rights . Have car inspected by a certified shop, not the dealership, run your own car fax and check for recalls with the NATIONAL HIGHWAY SAFETY ASSOCIATION.

I recently purchased a Dodge Ram 1500 from this dealership, and I had to go through their credit service. They explained that they write up the contract and that the bank then assumes it so I don't have to pay at the dealership. I can have the payments automatically removed from my bank account, so that I don't forget to pay (like usual.) The sales staff worked with me and made sure that I understood the contract. I didn't have all of the paperwork they needed, but they called the bank while I was there and the younger guy in the office talked them into letting me buy the truck. I have had no problems with the truck, and my mechanic told me that I got an excellent truck at a great price. I would recommend anyone to go here, especially if you have questionable credit!!

They had a nice car I was eyeing so I stopped in for a test drive. I got two blocks away and started to turn around due the vehicle driving and sounding horrible. I really liked the vehicle so I took it to a mechanic hoping it was a minor exhaust fix and an alignment. He confirmed my fears, and the exhaust had a crack by the converter, wheel bearing was shot, oil was leaking from engine, and the pinion was worn out. I asked the mechanic to give me a low ball price. He priced out the parts and with a best case scenario it was $2,000. I took it back to the dealer, told them I wasn't interested in the car due to issues and it being in two accidents (according to the carfax THEY provided) and asked about another vehicle. Dealer (Tom), complained about me taking it to a mechanic, tried to berate the mechanic I took it to (my trusted mechanic of a couple decades), and didn't want me to check out the other car I was interested in due to me "just going to take it to that same mechanic" (just a tip for the inexperienced, NEVER buy a car from someone without taking it to a mechanic). Even after telling him I wasn't interested and wanted to look at something else, he wanted my list of problems, and then tried to tell me "its not a new car, what did you expect" (both of my current cars were in accidents prior to buying them, and both drove like a dream when (and why) I test drove them and ultimately bought them).Worst experience dealing with a dealer ever, would absolutely not buy a car from them. If your an experienced car buyer, you might catch them with a good car if you can get the price right, but other than that, try Planet Preowned, much more professional staff, and better vehicles.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My husband and I purchased a vehicle from them in April, we brought it home and within a day noticed a leak in a tire, the air cleaner was not sealed, it seemed to be leaking oil, there was no washer fluid cap, and it was making a noise so on top of everything else my husband asked them to check the wheel bearings in the front. They agreed to take a look at it but when my husband picked it up he was told there was no issue and scolded by the employee stating that there is no warranty and they don't have to look at anything. See I understand how this works, I get that you don't HAVE to do anything but if after less than 24 hours a customer calls you with a list of issues it seems like you would care about your business that you wouldn't want to be known as someone who doesn't mind selling trash. Since April we have had to fix the leaky tire, replace a pressure hose in the power steering pump, replace the front wheel bearings, and it is still leaking oil. It's not worth doing business with them. Learn from our mistake and go to a reputable dealer, one who stands behind the vehicles they sell.

Wish I could give joke of a dealership a BIG FAT ZERO!!! One star is far too generous for this rude and condescending owner. I was shopping online and stumbled across a vehicle I was interested in and was also very much within my budget. I decided to drive to the dealership on my lunch break and have a look. Upon my arrival there, I actually found not just that vehicle but another one I was interested in as well. The owner greeted me in a very friendly way...I told him I was interested in both vehicles. He immediately went inside to grab both sets of keys. Both (2008 Subaru Forester and 2008 Honda CRV) APPEARED to be very nice used vehicles. I told him I didn't have time during my lunch break to take them for a test drive, that I would come back after work and most likely with my better half. This is where the story takes a deathly nosedive. We came back and asked if we could drive both vehicles and that we would be taking them to our mechanic for a quick look (as everyone who purchases used vehicles should do and it is within your right to do so). His demeanor immediately took a turn for the worst and should have been my first indication that this would not end well. He retorted, in a very snooty way, that remember, these ARE used vehicles .......I told him we know this, however, this is still a large investment, and we would like our mechanic's opinion . I was driving the Subaru to the garage. I turned on the air conditioning (testing everything out) and a STORM of bird seeds came flying out at me like confetti. Once we reached my mechanic's, they put the Subaru up on the lift first...what a nightmare! The entire under carriage was rotting out and the head gaskets were leaking BADLY. So, that was a no-go. I was hopeful for the CRV, as we both preferred that vehicle. Up on the lift it went...and a few mins later, out come the mechanics...the engine was great, however, the CRV needed a new transmission, it was leaking, A LOT. We return to the dealership and were greeted with a very exuberant so, which one did you decide on ? We told him they were both out of our price range. This got him VERY angry and condescending. He retorted with then why the hell did you take these vehicles if the are out of your price range ? We explained that the vehicles themselves weren't out of our price range...it was the fact that they both needed thousands of dollars in work, driving that price range from $7700.00 to closer to $12000.00. Dealer began to berate us. Got very rude, started raising his voice and throwing his hands/arms all over. I thanked him for his time and for letting us look at the vehicles...he snorted and told us good luck, you're never going to find a used vehicle . Well, I hope he reads this, because we went to D&D Auto Sales (whom we now HIGHLY recommend) and 30 mins after leaving this joker, bought a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe...paid for in full. If you are looking for a shiny used vehicle that will last, avoid #1 Preferred Auto at all costs. They spit shine their vehicles to look nice, yet don't stand by anything.

Personable staff, excellent service, and low prices. Definitely would recommend to a friend. Tom, Keith, and Gary were all very helpful to get me into an affordable vehicle in a very short amount of time (under 24 hours)! 10/10 all the way around!

First of all, I should say that I did purchase a car from these guys because I LOVE the car, it was decently priced and in mint condition. However, I do NOT love them or their manner of dealing with customers. I put a large down payment on the car, only to have them LOSE THE KEYS TO IT. I had to wait 3 extra days to get the car, during which I missed work twice as I could not find a ride. Then, when they finally got things together for me, they had to the nerve to refuse to discount me the remaining $90 because the car had "cost so much to get keys for". They were sexist and even said, "Sweetheart, we aren't making anything on it." Total lies. The car was at the top of KBB pricing. I was shocked by their rudeness and the demeaning way I was treated. I was not even offered a refund for the cab fair or a rental during the three days I waited for them to get the keys. Ridiculous. Don't waste your time with these guys.

Lowballed me on trade-in then tried selling me a clunker. Owner was rude and wasn't willing to go a penny below what was on the windshield. I opened hood and noticed some problems and was told ''its a used vehicle what do you expect?" "You'll need help finding parts for this truck and im your guy!". I ended up buying the same year model from a different dealership a lot cheaper. The one big difference? This one didn't shake when it was idling. He tried playing it off as nothing and questioned my intelligence. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Tom was really patient and kind even though my husband and I were hesitant, he never tried to sell us something we didn't want. After many car lots, and numerous outings in search of a vehicle, we decided happily on one from them. Great vehicle! Couldn't be happier.

CROOKS! I bought a car from them and a month later the cheap paint job they did was showing. They painted over all the rust and they put bondo on the car. All the wheel wells and trunk are rusted and bubbling. They also painted the underside with black, the whole bottom was rusted. Ive had the car for a year and had to replace the strut mounts, gas tank, tie rods, and much more. They SUCK! Never buy from them they will cheat you and they wont replace or fix your vehicle.

Add me to the growing list of people who chose poorly by purchasing an overpriced piece of crap from this place. Avoid it like tomorrow's plague!!! You are sure to get an underestimation for YOUR trade in, and a firm refusal to be more reasonable on their asking price for their heaps that come from the auctionlands of hades. Since my unfortunate purchase which is starting to cost me after a short time of ownership, I've heard only bad things about this place. You'd think the other negative reviews would have screamed out: DON"T GO THERE!!!! Unless you are a mechanic, and have stubborn bargaining skills, you won't get a reasonable deal-only taken advantage of, and left to feel like the biggest chump on the planet.
