Amazing service!! I realized I had a flat and called them to see if they could see me they told me to bring my car in now! Thank god because I had two nails in my tire. The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful and explained what happened to my tire. Super quick and overall great experience. Will definitely be bringing my car back here :)

I purchased 4 tires about 2 months ago. My daughter drives this car. Un fortunately she got a flat. When we jacked up the car and pulled off the hubcap, we found the lug nuts were installed backwards (tapered side out. This is wrong and a definite safety hazard. We repaired the tire and reinstalled it correctly. After seeing that tire installed wrong we checked the other tires and found that 3 out of 4 tires had the lug nuts installed wrong. We took the lug nuts off and reinstalled them ourselves. While checking all the lug nuts we found 1of the tires was mounted wrong. These tires are directional tires which need to be mounted so they rotate in the proper direction. 1 tire was mounted backwards. I returned here to Bethpage and went to their front desk. I told them they put the lug nuts on wrong (backwards) and that one of the tires was mounted with the rotation in the wrong direction. I was told at the front desk it was impossible to put the lug nuts on wrong. I have been working as mechanic since I was 17 years old and am 68 now and know how to put lug nuts on correctly. As for the tire, they removed and reinstalled the tire correctly. I can't see any reason I would be returning to this store ever again. Their attitude was poor when told about their mistakes and lug nuts put on wrong is a safety issue.

I made an appointment with Mavis online for a NYS Inspection for a Friday evening at 5 pm. When I arrived, I was told that their last inspection appointment is at 4 pm. They were super gracious enough to still take me and performed the inspection. I am so grateful as it saved me another visit the next day. AMAZING SERVICE!

After I noticed my tire was leaking air I called Mavis and Christine was incredibly nice both on the phone and in person! Charlie also got my tire fixed and ready to go way faster then I thought it might have taken and was very understanding of my issue. I m just lucky they close at 8:30 on Thursdays and had such great people helping me with my tire

Christine was very patient despite unreasonable customers coming in (they did not understand that other people were ahead of them on line) and helped me get signed in and coordinated ordering tires for me. Charlie took care of my car and made sure I understood everything he was doing. The job ended up being bigger than I thought it would be, but they worked with me to make sure I got the important parts fixed at a rate that worked for me.

Christine, the wonderful lady at the desk was a fantastic help. Was patient with me as this my first time dealing with insurance and tire repair as an adult and she was just pleasant and understanding, even providing me info that will help me later on down the line when it comes to maintaining my car (especially the tires)

They reset the oil life from the main screen and tell me to do it myself. They don't change the oil change sticker and don't do it until I tell them to. I had to drive my car back and forth here 3 times, it's absolutely awful.

unfortunately i can t give it 5 stars because of the witch of a receptionist that they have, she is so rude to so many customers even when we ask simple questions she gives attitude and is so unprofessional . only reason i keep going is because of jose and charlie who do great work. i once called ahead of time for an oil change and she told me to come, once i arrived she said they can t do it. she made me waste my time and was inconsiderate about it all!

Took my truck to Mavis Bethpage location for a oil change for a 12pm appointment 3 hours after I call to see if my truck is ready I was told my that it can t be done the day of I will have to wait till the next day. I went got my truck and never going back there again. Very poor service.

Been going here for a long time came in yesterday and the lady at the desk named christine was super rude . When I asked for a manager she told me she s the only manager . Luckily a young guy named Charlie came up to the desk seconds later and when I started speaking to him cause Christine was impossible to deal with he was very nice and clearly understood what I was trying to get across . He also informed me he was the manager . I will only go back and deal with Charlie from now on .

Went in for service (tires, oil change, brakes, etc.). The woman working the front desk was great, very courteous and professional. A worker in the lot pulling a car around spun the tires on someone's car which kind of got my attention that he would treat someone's car that way but I gave him the benefit of the doubt because, admittedly, there is a lot of dirt on the ground in the lot that could've contributed to it. Got my new tires but they never did the oil change I requested but they didn't charge me for it so no big deal. Now comes the problem. They charged me for an alignment which was never done. Had issues with the car and brought it to my mechanic. Put it on the machine and it was out of alignment. Not only that, but the paint markings from the factory were still perfectly aligned and rust showing the alignment was never done. I tried calling the store to speak to the manager but he or she was never available when I would call. I called their corporate office number that they list in reply to every review on here. Spoke to a rep who was again very professional and courteous. They put me on hold so they could speak to the store manager. When the rep came back she informed me that she spoke to the manager and that the manager agreed to refund me the alignment charge and that he would be calling me but it might be about a half hour because he was busy with a customer. It has now been probably a week and still no phone call so I decided to dispute it with my credit card company. If you do bring your car here, make sure you check their work. I hate to accuse them of fraud, but the fact that they didn't call me to try to make it right seems to indicate the bosses probably know they are charging for services that are not performed. I only asked for the refund of services I know were not performed, not looking for a handout. If they have an employee lying about their work, they should handle it. If the owner and/or manager knows they are charging for services not performed, shame on them. Either way, I won't be back and I hope this is a warning to all my neighbors to be aware of what could be going on here.

They never have enough mechanics, I had a 9am appointment ,at 1pm there were a "few in front of you". I picked up my van and will never return after many years of loyalty. This isn't the first time that they couldn't work on my van because of no mechanics. Last time inspection couldn't be done, before that alignment because of no mechanic. If I could give zero stars I would.

Stopped by due to low pressure light on, the man at the counter tells me, we have to replace the sensor to fix the issue and that it would cost $100, so they replaced the sensor, I went home the light came on again, so I came back the same day, they tried to fix it, with the light off I went back home and the light came back on again, so the next day I went back so they can fix it or take the sensor out and refund my money, but the lady at the counter said the sensor is working even though the light was on, and that it was a programming issue and to take the car to the dealer, and there is no way I m getting my money back. The bottom line is, I pay $100 wasted 2 hours and the issue was not fixed.

Oh My god! Charlie is AMAZING! He was so kind and professional. Even listening to him talk to other customers who tried to give him a hard time he was calm, cool and collected. Mavis gave me an accurate time to come back and they had the work finished as promised. The mechanic inside were also very friendly and reassuring. Definitely coming back to the Mavis on Hempstead turnpike in BETHPAGE. Bravo! And thank you again Charlie!

***see edit below*** Always great service and great prices. Have had brakes and shocks done here and MUCH cheaper than the dealership. Same thing with a set of new Michelin tires. Ordered for me and installed the next day. Better price than I could find on any website. Everyone has been super nice, car is always done fast, and they call right away to let you know! Highly recommend!*****edit - this shop has had new management / owners for a while, and things went downhill immediately after the took over. Had 3 occasions of price swapping and a failure to honor a credit they said was going to be applied. I no longer go to this location and STRONGLY suggest you avoid it if at all possible.

Went in for four new tires, wheel alignment. I had to come back twice for wheel Alignment and still drift to the left. Not sure if it was the mechanic or there tools but I still have the issue. Would not recommend coming here.All this happened in the same month service
